    Thanks for simple explanation as usual. It will be good if you can give your view point on AT 1 Bonds like those of South Indian Bank Bonds.
    These are perpetual bonds with a call option in 2025. How likely is it that the bank will not use the call option in 2025 ?

    Thank you for another educative video. A query: why can bonds from otherwise very secure entities like SBI have a credit rating of AA? We don’t expect SBI to ever default, then why would it not be AAA?

    My question to you is that should I invest right now or to wait till half yearly interest is is announced??

    Very informative video. Thanks for the same. Just had one question - how much money do you get at the end of the maturity period. Going by your example let’s say a 1000 rs bond is bought at 800 with maturity period of another 4 years would I get 1000 back for that bond at the end of 4 years?

    Are Corporate Bond Funds (Mutual Funds - Example - SBI Corporate Bond Fund, Aditya Birla Corporate Bond Fund, etc) and the Bonds that you are talking about the same thing ? If different, can you please explain the difference ? I need to know the difference. I have been investing in SBI Corporate Bond Fund- Mutual Fund for about 2 years and getting more than 9% returns p.a..
