Beautiful plants!! How do you get them to be so shiny?!!? They are truly stunning!
You can skip the whale fin. If anything happens to the leaf, it’s not fixable. But I’ve recently acquired a golden Hahnii. It’s a dwarf of the Sansevieria and they are easy to care for, propagate, and share.
Look for dwarf Sansevieria.

Nice collection. I definitely agree with Moonshine and Silver Flame. They look amazing! There's another form of Cylindrica that looks like tall stalks and good for structure. As well as Fernwood.

Wow I’ve never heard of the silver flame before that’s gorgeous! I’ve just added a whale fin to my sansevieria collection that’s my favourite one I have now but that might take its place if I can get my hands on it

Cool! 😎 Those are some awesome snake plants! I didn’t know there were so many varieties out there! I just tended to mine today. Not sure what kind she is, but she’s a gift from my mom and I’ve had her for at least 25 years, so I don’t care! I love her! Every once in a while she’ll bloom and it’s magic! Thanks for the video!

Snake plants are hard to come by where I live. But I did find a samurai dwarf (I believe that’s what it’s call) at my local grocery store and I was so happy! I’ve been wanting a moon glow for so long so I’m jealous of yours 😭 all your plants look so happy and healthy.

Your silver flame is called Whitney in the U.S. I have about 35 plants of many varieties ( ALL sansaveirias) for over 40 years now. Lots of hahnii..the short birds nest type, yellow, silvers, streamers, etc. Wish I knew how to send pics! I am so non-TECH! Can barely use this phone to make calls, ha ha. Just want you to know of the best and easiest way to get rid of fungus gnats that like to fly up your nose if you ever get them! Yuk! Hang a bug zapper lite in your plant room & the little beasties will start to crackle right away! I smile with every zap! None for over a year now, and you can bring them in with any new plant! In the US the "little ones" are called bird's nest sansevieria.

ooo I want a Silver Flame... :) The ones I would recommend are Fernwood, Masoniana and bacularis. the bacularis is very similar to cylindrica but it grows straight up rather than in a fan.... perfect in a limited space location.... in the next few weeks I'll be uploading a video repotting my bacularis... and I show a comparison between the cylindrica and bacularis...

Wow I love love sansiveria, I got two of mine (small ones) sansiveria hahni & hahni golden the golden is more variegated. These could be the ones you mentioned they have in your work place. I got mine from Lidl. I use a mix of miracle grow soil, perlite and worm castings, although I plan on replacing the soil with coco coir. Good luck with your collection keep posting because I love this plant due to the fact it's so easy to care for.

@@PlantingMemories it's a bit hit and miss you can go sometimes and they have a great selection and other times not much. I missed out on a calathea rubiforia (sp?) Because I was in the middle of moving. Avoid Aldi their prices are crazy, I bought 2 dragon trees from Asda for £6, Aldi were selling them for £16 plus they were smaller. I would suggest checking your local lidl once a week, also checkout Asda. Good luck xx
I have a bunch of Sanevierias. My faves are S ‘Jiboia’, S aubrytiana and S ‘Silver Flame’. Well S ‘Gold Flame’ is also very nice.
Golden Flame is a must have .

I’m in love with my Moonshine for the same reasons as you but you didn’t mention the gorgeous green edging to the leaves 🤷🏼♀️ But what you did mention is my latest desires name; Silver Flame!! I thought it was called Whitney, maybe that’s why I haven’t been able to find one?! Anyway thanx for that🤝Next on my wish list is a whale fin but I’ve only seen them locally (S.Devon)for £7,probably 8 for the smallest imaginable plant! I want one like (exactly the same as) Svetlana’s of Firefly in the Room. I realise your vid, and Svetlana’s, are 3 years old but, well, I’m Sanseveria mad🙃! God bless you 🙏✝️. ✌️🇷🇺☮️🇺🇦✌️. ✌️🤍🇮🇱✌️

I used diluted organic seaweed to feed mine. Check out the variegated whale fins!! I also like the black diamond variety

on my list. Just these plants 🥰
I choose to use the worm castings in the soil as in UK watering
is not needed as regular as much in USA.
I accidentally found the francissi snake plant and just had to grab🤩

Love sansevierias ❤ The one you've got trifasciata variegata I believe it's called superba The one short is hahnii there's also golden hahnii (seen at lidl few months ago and gc- it's really pretty)
I've got moonshine, masoniana whale fin, silver flame or whitney the other name, bacularis (from Ikea) and fernwood.
On my wishlist is Metallica (want it so bad 😜) and kirkii silver blue and coppertone and last one bantel sensation... ufff ☺️ That's all for now 😁

I love San's that moonshine is huge and it's leaves are mint* Here is a link to a site I sometimes use the shipping can be hit or miss because it has to go thru customs and takes about 20 days and you have to sign for the box when it arrives. But with San's or certain Hoya I've had no issue given they are so hardy. I do suggest look at a few unboxing videos so you get a idea of what I mean when I save hit or miss but if you are looking for more exotic types look here www.newlifetropicals.com/category/3 Also on FB there is a few Sanseveria groups that do sell some so you might wanna look into that as well. Let you new plants settle before you repot. Sansaveria grow better with not having their roots disturbed. If you feel shoots developing let it be.

Axl Rolfe haha that is always the way! They always have lovely pileas in there. And huge calatheas and cacti! The prices beat any garden centre so it’s hard to say no! Haha

Sansevieria ballyi
Sansevieria sayuri
Sansevieria 'cleopatra'
I'm located in Canada. :)
I don't use any fertiliser for them now Sometimes on a growing season I use the same fertiliser as for other plants Just leave them on their own and water once a month or 2 weeks and that's it Easy peasy

I just got a silver flame today. I had never seen it before.
You need to get the Whale Fin Sav. It is a brilliant plant. It's only on leaf and its so unique. Not sure if you got one but, look up Hirts Garden. They have them in stock and they are on sale. I loved the dark sav. Thank you and I hope all is well for you.
