Pinterest is a company that is trying very hard to capture and copy right every image on the internet, that should not be allowed.
Starbucks are in Australia but overall it's been considered a failure. We have good quality reasonably priced coffee available everywhere, Starbucks is not so cheap and is low quality.
I agree but Starbucks are all over the UK. Tbh I don't get the craze for constantly getting coffee when its so much cheaper to make yourself.
MSFT rebounded a bit after the earning call...too much knee jerk reactions.

People can't wait 2 quarters for MSFT's AI profitability but they are OK with TSLA's decade long empty promises. I don't get it.
@klotus8885 The market is a dangerous wild jungle. Tesla is heavily manupilated by some big players. Wallstreet analysts for Tesla are just manupilatung the narratives. MSFT narrative is still well grounded on fundamentals. For Tesla, the fundamentals are ignored by hyping its potential. For the players who are in it, they just play along with the game until it is no longer possible.

AI is really going to benefit the industries that haven't been hyped as much. It's going to be far more useful in developing new chemicals, proteins, medicines, and optimizing manufacturing and logistics.
Once a company actually has clean data. Accenture and consulting companies are selling pre-AI service like mad - right now there is next to nothing a company can do outside of a chat bot unless they are in tech
The headlines for Microsoft is misleading. Azure grew at 29% which just miss analyst estimate by just 1%. 29% growth is still amazing. Microsoft is just going through a price correction due to an already high valuation.

Luckin Coffee is eating Starbucks lunch in China. Entire different people running Luckin and the previous ones that were running it during the scandal has opened another coffee chain.
Luckin Coffee dumped some 40% since Oct 2023 ... I rather drink tea.. lol

I'm drinking chai as I type. I only discovered it (tried it) fairly recently & I'm sad I didn't before.
Pinterest is comparable to scrapbooking for the internet, hobbies, crafts and other topics photographically outlined and organized to share.
The internet of things, then VR, then Metaverse and now AI etc. In NYC Starbucks as "remodeled" its stores to reduce the number of tables and chairs so that they do not have to give customers access to their bathrooms anymore. Employees only! In some stores they put in pick up windows.
I might have to make a video about the bathroom thing :)
@@realchris In NYC there are NO public bathrooms! Starbucks was the place to GO! But based on NYC laws if you have X amount of tables and chairs then you no longer have to provide access the public. Too much usage by general public and too many drug addicts shooting up in there.
Starbucks latte is good if you do not have any other choices. But I prefer drinking coffee black and without any sweeterers, which moots the whole idea of drinking Starbucks. Here in Finland ubiqutous and about the same quality €1-2/cup bean brew from a kiosk or shop is giving more value to you, IMHO.
Do people drink tea much there or mainly coffee?

In Singapore, luking coffee is thriving here. Price is 50% cheaper with coupons over Starbucks and I definitely know where to spend my money on
How does quality compare?
@@realchriscoffee is surprisedly good like their mint coconut latte which cost only 2.5-2.8USD after discount. However, the frappe is average. luking coffee definitely do not have pricing power because they are giving out coupon daily.
They could even be operating at a loss on some things.
