I know I am not alone when I say, Chef Jean Pierre provides his fans much more than cooking knowledge. He also provides Joy, Peace, and laughter. Thank you, for all these gifts, Chef.
And patriotism! I love that he not only has a big ass GOD BLESS AMERICA sign in his kitchen but he mentions often why he loves America so much and that it is the greatest country in the world.
Indeed. Of all of the content creators I’m aware of that I’d like to meet and “break bread” with I think Chef JP would be at the top of the list. Can you imagine the conversation after a bottle of wine? Thanks for the smiles Chef. ❤
Nothing will get me to respect a chef more than the willingness to admit when something didn’t cook so well. And being able to recommend how to avoid the same problem too!
@@ChefJeanPierre I agree - if you don't make mistakes, you don't develop. And you have to adjust to variations in raw materials and tastes. You complained once that some spices tasted like nothing. That is a general biological development.Roses look much better these days; but they don't smell.
Anyone else want 1 video a week or a couple a month of Jean Pierre telling stories?? He can drink some wine and do his food prep and just tell us stories. I am SO there! Who else??
Chef, over the weekend, TH-cam suddenly started recommending your old PBS show episodes. I watched one from 93 and you are exactly the same 😂. Stay awesome
If they are complaining that your recipes are too hard or have too many ingredients, they don't love to cook, and they aren't here to learn. I watch everything you do, and every ingredient has a purpose. Thank you for working so hard to teach us!
Clearly , such folks are overwhelmed by the shear technical difficulties of things like boiling water , never mind a 3 step breading station or the black arts of marinading .
Anyone saying chef's recipes are too hard need to really get a reality check. I'd be hard pressed to find any video that uses anything close to specialty equipment or impractical cooking techniques. Its easy simple quality home cooking, not microwaving hot pockets or making biscuits out of soda pop al tik tok. Keep On Keeping On Chef, love your content.
I have been following Chef JP for several years now. What i have learned from the chef has brought me from barely being able to boil a potatoe to creating gourmet meals. Chef, if it takes 1 pot or 6 pots, your fans will always appreciate what you doing.
He is wonderful and it is a fun way to learn. My favorite you tube chef! Quite a few other chefs on you tube. The anti chef is great. Canadian. Started from zero experience, shows all the hilarious mistakes. For authentic Italian stuff Vincenzo is fantastic too.
Chef, I speak for myself, but I suspect a lot of others here as well. We watch you, not because you make something more simple, we watch you to see how to do things that we don't know how to do and become better at cooking delicious things. There's many other reasons, but I think that's the basic of it. If people want something more simple, there's that tick tack tock ;)
This is a staple meal for week night dinners and next day lunch. Took 15 min to prep. Let it marinade for 45 and it rocked. CJP is an American Treasure! He should have his own stamp!

Hi Chef.... oh my that looks so yummy and so easy. I'm definitely gonna make that for my grandkids this week. Fussy eaters but I know they will like this. Just saw some of your old Sunshine Cuisine videos someone posted. You HAVE been doing this for a long time. Thanks for all you try to teach us. I'm 73 and still enjoy learning new stuff. Take care.

My wife prepared this dish, as described, last evening. It is now on the frequent meal rotation! Thank you so much for presenting this dish. Additionally, your content and presentation is the most enjoyable program we watch on TV. The knowledge and techniques that you provide are priceless. Anyone who complains about the recipes or preparation should, as you say, go to another cooking channel!
I love you chef. Watching you helps me with my anxiety. I’ve made lots of your recipes. I feel like I’m eating restaurant food at home. I can’t thank you enough. 🙏❤️
Who on earth is complaining that chef's recipes are too complicated or difficult?! Folks he really is being genuine when he tells you, "It's so easy, a CHILD could do it!" Keep it up chef! We're here for it all!
I am So glad to hear from a True Professional Chef to Not throw away the Marinade used in the Chicken. I always thought that was Silly!! I use all of the rest of my Marinade to Baste the chicken on the Grill each time I Turn it.
I'm definitely a "feeder" I just love it when I see friends/family eat my meals! Additional ingredient is "love" such a thrill! When they come in for 2nds or I gift a meal - such a soul warming blessing!😊
Above all else, Chef, you're the best channel for me and my family, we've all come to know you and love all you do and for all your experience and personality brings to the table. 8yr old son goes around saying "Onyo" ..all the time. Another great video Chef! Thankyou from all here in my house, we do love and appreciate you!
I don't know how anyone can complain that your recipes are complicated or have too many ingredients. I've watched countless videos, and you make the process easy to follow with easy to find ingredients. I love your channel and feel it's the best cooking channel on TH-cam! This dish looks fabulous, and I'm definitely going to try it! 😊
Last weekend I went to buy a lemon tree for my roof garden, and even while I haven´t had time to trasplant it to its pot it has already given me like 6 big juicy lemons. I can´t wait to try them with this dish. Thank you for the recipe Chef.
The man the myth the legend from Aix De Provence, France is about to hit 2 million subscribers on youtube!!! I'm glad I caught this channel early on, it's been a very entertaining and very rewarding experience learning a ton of things from this master chef and personality. Merci chef! Et feliciations!
Chef, I've spent most of my career as a front of the house server. I've learned so much from your videos that I can go to work each day more educated and give my guests a great experience. The format of your videos are perfect. Cheers to Jack as well!
I think it’s really important that you highlighted the carrots being slightly undercooked at the end. Even though the dish is “finished”, there can still be things that don’t come out perfectly every time, especially in a televised demonstration. Always something to learn! (I’ll be making this for dinner tomorrow, by the way 😊)
We love chicken flavored by lemon in almost any form. This one looks so simple and quick to prepare. I'll be trying this recipe for sure. Thank you Chef Jean Pierre and Jack for bringing it to us.
I have to say that I don't know how people can say you use too many ingredients or it's too complicated ! You break down everything so simply. If there is any confusion then they can look at the detailed recipe you provide. I am almost 57 yrs old and barely cooked anything in my life . Since I found this channel about a year ago I have cooked things I would have never dreamed possible...and it turned out to be pretty tasty as well. Now I cook something every week inspired by this channel and by Chef JP. I'm certainly going to be trying this particular dish as well as I'm only 4 mins in and it already looks delicious! I knew that I had even gained a little knowledge when i looked in the fridge to decide what to cook for dinner and there was nothing much in there. I looked at what I had and was able to rustle together a delicious meal for my wife and myself. She was amazed at what I was ' just able to throw together with very little ingredients . No recipe, no youtube, just a little knowledge and confidence gained from watching this amazing channel and this amazing chef who makes. cooking. fun. Six months ago I would have just ordered a takeaway, so never change the way you deliver your channel as it has gotten you this far and almost 2 MILLION subscribers. If it ain't broke...don't fix it. I can't wait to see what else I will be capable of cooking over the next six months.
This is a wonderful dish! The marinade looks amazing. I may try this tonight. That’s the beauty of the dark meat; you can’t overcook it! Love chicken thighs. I don’t care if your recipe has 20 or 2 ingredients! Or how long the video is. You bring us fantastic recipes! Many thanks!😊
While this is an easy 1 pan dish, I hope you continue to share recipes that are a bit more difficult! I made your Lemon Tiramisu. The lemon curd was simply amazing. I will never buy it pre-made again! I have made so many of your recipes. Another favorite was your amazing bread pudding. While it required a bit of work, it was so worth it. I make my roux ahead of time, etc. While an occasional easy dish is great, pleaseeeee don't stop teaching us techniques that require a bit more work, too. Seldom does anything great come easy. Thanks to you, I made Beef Wellington!!!! ( it was perfect and OMG to die for!) I always thought it was too hard. Nope. I did it step by step with your help. Thank you 1000000 times for all you teach us and for brightening our day with your great personality. ❤
I wait every week to receive your new recipe, I appreciate all your teaching techniques, started my weekly menu, I was lucky enough that today is chicken dinner, I had everything I needed to cook this meal, and yes one pot dinner is so easy, you should teach us more of one pot dinners, oh by the way, my husband loved it, so thank you for making my cooking experience easy, I love to cook my Egyptian food but the spices doesn't set well with him, I love watching you you make me laugh and that is what makes you fun to watch 🙂
Chef, there are a million TH-cam recipes with, "Easy, Fast, Quick..." in the title. We are not here to rush any meal rather we are here to learn proper techniques. Food is very expensive and learning how to make the most out your groceries is paramount. It is your channel so continue treating us like we are students in your class. If viewers don't like learning how to properly cook there are a lot of videos out there specializing in mediocre dishes.
Ahhh, but a one dish casserole like this, is perfect for when we DON'T have a lot of time, but still tastes fantastic, because this amazing chef created it to excellence!
I love this guy! He is always so practical in his recipes and, if followed precisely, never fails to make delicious food. Thank you, so much, Chef Jean-Pierre.
I agree with many of the other comments; I enjoy cooking and with that comes dishes. I usually have 3-5 pans being sued every night!! 😂. Some of us follower’s are not beginners. We love the more advanced recipes as well as the simple ones, like this one. Thank you for your incredible knowledge that you share so graciously with us. I’ve learned so much from you. You’re aces in my book!!
I do a Greek chicken and potatoes like this slightly different. But a lot more potatoes and when the chicken is done you take it out let it rest and broil the potatoes to get them part crispy so good!
My Dad made lemon chicken. I've made it many times (I'm a bit of an addict..). I've got all his recipes and some he made up for me long before he died. one day (or 5 years) I'll go through all of them. He was a true gourmet chef, a gourmand and he loved French food but never stopped there and cooked from all cuisines. He had one rule, you have to try it but you don't have to eat it if you don't like it. His sons were exposed to every type of food on the earth. The only dish I had that he never made was schnitzel from The German Cafe in Sierra Vista Az of all places! as sad as it is, I'm glad I live 900 miles away or I'd weight 900 lbs! Funny he never made it because he did a good bit of German cooking. Not German but Welsh, comes to mind, he did a bier rarebit that makes my mouth water remembering it.
My mom's favorite recipe from chef was the French toast. Very high class. I had to cook for my mom the last 6 years of her life. Chef made me an even better cook. Thank you for all the tips and recipes
My girlfriend and I have made Jean Pierre recipes every night for a week now. Many of them using your delicious chicken stock and the chicken meat I saved after butchering whole chickens. Thank you for choosing to spend your retirement sharing this wonderful knowledge.
You've built your channel to over 2million subscribers. I think you are safe to continue with what you are doing so successfully. You can afford to discount the naysayers! If I am intimidated by a recipe or not interested..... I don't make it! VOILÀ...problem goes away! You are an incredible chef and a fine man. God bless and keep you.
Chef please do not change a singe thing. your recipes are perfection. I love your channel. It is extremely informative and entertaining. I have made several of your recipes and my family loves them. Your cabbage balls are exquisite BTW. Much love and respect good sir.

LOL . . . I love it when he says "measure carefully" . . .👍👍
Haha Chef tasted it and then asked Jack if he put in salt - you have to love him! Simple and loveable..
🙏❤️
I don't know how anyone can complain that your recipes are complicated or have too many ingredients. I've watched countless videos, and you make the process easy to follow with easy to find ingredients. I love your channel and feel it's the best cooking channel on TH-cam!
This dish looks fabulous, and I'm definitely going to try it! 😊
Last weekend I went to buy a lemon tree for my roof garden, and even while I haven´t had time to trasplant it to its pot it has already given me like 6 big juicy lemons. I can´t wait to try them with this dish. Thank you for the recipe Chef.
Ah my old home used to have a lemon tree in the backyard. It was the best thing ever! I miss that tree
The man the myth the legend from Aix De Provence, France is about to hit 2 million subscribers on youtube!!! I'm glad I caught this channel early on, it's been a very entertaining and very rewarding experience learning a ton of things from this master chef and personality. Merci chef! Et feliciations!
Made this last night. It was delicious!
Chef, I've spent most of my career as a front of the house server. I've learned so much from your videos that I can go to work each day more educated and give my guests a great experience. The format of your videos are perfect. Cheers to Jack as well!
So close to two million!
A chef that makes me hungry when I just ate a huge meal..........of his..........is a master chef!!!
I love it when Chef tastes the final dish and tries to talk at the same time! Mama Mia!!!
Love my Mondays when a CJP upload arrives ❤❤❤
I think it’s really important that you highlighted the carrots being slightly undercooked at the end. Even though the dish is “finished”, there can still be things that don’t come out perfectly every time, especially in a televised demonstration. Always something to learn! (I’ll be making this for dinner tomorrow, by the way 😊)
We love chicken flavored by lemon in almost any form. This one looks so simple and quick to prepare. I'll be trying this recipe for sure. Thank you Chef Jean Pierre and Jack for bringing it to us.
We made this and Chef this is delicious! We bought some French bread to dip into the drippings, fantastic!!
🙏❤️👍
Only one word for you Chef......it is Perfection. Thank you my friend.
Thanks chef simple is always better for busy people
iiinteresting and cool to marinate the potatoes etc in the marinate/saucd as well, will definitely try this recipe!
This is soo good 😊
Winner winner: lemon chicken dinner😊
This is a wonderful dish! The marinade looks amazing. I may try this tonight. That’s the beauty of the dark meat; you can’t overcook it! Love chicken thighs. I don’t care if your recipe has 20 or 2 ingredients! Or how long the video is. You bring us fantastic recipes! Many thanks!😊
I love your complex recipes. I have cooked and baked for 52 years. Fundamentals are so important, but so are great professional skill level dishes
Approaching two million followers. Well deserved👏👏. The perfect cooking show.
I agree with this, when I am cooking (and have the time to do it properly) I am not worried about giving it the time it needs.
Absolute, I agree wholeheartedly!
Your intros make me so happy! The delight on your face about cooking and sharing it with us is inspiring.
I do a Greek chicken and potatoes like this slightly different. But a lot more potatoes and when the chicken is done you take it out let it rest and broil the potatoes to get them part crispy so good!
We can all afford to make this delicious dish.
Perfect timing! My husband just asked for a chicken dinner for tomorrow dinner. This will be a nice change from my same old same old recipes.
Yes please do more of these one pot meals and keep trying to make them as easy as possible thanks Chef!
🙏🙏🙏❤️

I cannot express how much I love your videos. You make things so easy and always have fun, thanks chef!
Thanks so much 🙏❤️
Excellent, Thanks again!
And the grand finale made my day, lol
More one pan dishes please! I like to cook for a large group of people, so simple bulk dishes like stews and pan-bakes are very helpful for me.
Been watching for years. Always awesome. I LOVE the "complicated" dishes (not really complicated). I learn something I can apply to all of my cooking in every specific dish.
