I personally agree 100%. At 18 joined the Marines. It was bad, it's as close to hell as possible on this Earth. After getting discharged medically I saw someone shoot themselves, a suicide by car wreck at 90mph, and a suicide by hanging. Seeing all of this before the age of 20 fucks you up for years. Death and Joe from APC helped more then they will ever know.

He is talking about the northern reception center also known as NRC. NRC is just holding before you go to your prison. Statesville is a maximum penitentiary and is still open until this day. It is next door to NRC and behind the wall
Hey Deonte! My husband did the first 6 years of his bid in Stateville...They done torn down F-house ( the roundhouse). It was all seg, detention. All the guys in there ( including my hubby) got transferred out when the announcement came that F- house was comin' down. They took 'em straight down to Menard, bro...and it sucked!! Your stories are REAL TALK, that IS how it be in the ' Ville, aight?! Thank you, man for sharing your experiences. I been to Nebraska state prison......Chicago is soft as fck compared to Nebraska and there isn’t much of a difference between suburbs and Chicago, people will shoot stab and steal anywhere and punk out.....if you went to nebraska n tried to say you from Chicago acting tough you would be in protective custody that day so stfu.

Sorry to burst ur bubble death I live out here and the haunted house isn't the old prison, the haunted house is just called statesville haunted prison but its not actually at a prison they do have tours of the old prison he's talking about though and he's trying to seem hard, dupage county is the suburbs he's not from the city. I've been to every county in the burbs and cook county in the city..dupage county is so sweet its all suburban dudes who don't want no smoke with any one they just wanna go home and the food is really good..compaired to cook county wich is just throw up on a tray lol I always go to cook cause I live in the city but I've been locked up in every county around here.. dupage is the softest and sweetest jail around its like going on a small vacation they do not take advantage of white people when u go to dupage...the whole jail is white haha

@@slangingiron4016 I just talked to my boy and from what he said only a couple of the long houses are still open and they closed the round house cause of the sewers constantly backing up so nrc and two or three of the long houses are open and that newer max section is open

And also its not all 50% on all cases. It is only with certain felony charges. Higher charges are 85%. And if it's 85% there is no good time eligibility.

This dude is talking about NRC which the Northern Receiving Center. This is not Statesville Prison. It is directly outside the walls of Statesville. Behind the wall is Statesville maximum prison. This dude was never inside Statesville!!

Bro I live right by both the old one is old af its Collins st. Its like 150 yrs old but the one in crest hill is the one with the round house....its old too but has a newer max section they built like 10yrs ago and they don't do the haunted house at the prison but they do tours and ghosts shit there...

A house down the street from me just got raided last night at 4:15 am i was outside smoking a cigarette and i heard them trying to bust the door down and yelling for people to come out 1 at a time with hands up
My husband was at the mall in Saint John,,New Brunswick,Canada last month..He heard cops radios going off above him on the 3rd floor, he then saw a flash from the corner of his eye, then he heard buddy hit the floor! He cannot even describe the sound, plus malls echo...He looked over the railing and buddy was half on his belly and side..Blood everywhere! There were a bunch of teens in the food court having lunch..My husband said they were screaming cause he landed in front of them..we don't know if he jumped or was pushed..major crime is investigating this so there's more to it...He was only 25yrs old..Rest in peace...very sad...

They have the statesville haunted house set up at a farm not at the old prison. And that’s Joliet prison and is completely different from statesville with the round house that’s still open.

I ended up bailing myself out of dupage county jail, so I only spent a few hours in a bullpen. The tray they brought me was damn delicious, it was a hot tray with ravioli, a stack of cookies and a metal cup with some really nice sweet tea. It was sweet. If that's what they do for you in the bullpen, once you hit the block it must be chill.
Death I’ve been trying to get in touch with you about my friend you’ll DEFINITELY want to interview. There’s news articles, video from the news and more. State troopers in New Orleans shot him 4 times in the chest after raiding his house and finding guns and dope. They said they tried to pull him over but they boxed him in and open fire on him. Plz hit me back homie, he’s ready and wants to be just doesn’t get on here much but watched your vids. I promise you will want to hear his story.

Hey death, you should check out the Mansfield reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. It's a prison turned into a haunted house. The Mansfield reformatory is the prison that was on Shawshank Redemption!

the recieving cells at Statesville wernt up off the ground when I was there. it's just chain link fence cages with concrete benches. I ran food and worked in the hostpital throughout that whole place in 05 for 2 months.

If u like visiting old creepy prisons check out Mansfield Penitentiary in Ohio if u haven't. They dont put a haunted house on there but its crazy haunted &u can take tours. Its been on many of the paranormal shows already & is on a few Most Haunted shows & lists as well. So theres lots of info & reports saying it def is a very active site. I believe the movie the Shawshank Redemption was filmed there also. Anyways, few r usually disappointed & dont have some kind of experience.

In Louisville u do 85%. But 7 months 21 days kills a state year that's without good time.. you have to do SAP program and that takes 6 months off you time..
Bro i took 14 months in bond court. Fastest i ever open and closed a case. Unfortunately when i was in they took the 6 months away from everyone so i had to do 7 months. Illinois is definitely sweet for that day per day
The statesville prison haunted house is at a farm not the prison and statesville with the roundhouse is still open. The Joliet prison is the one that’s closed.
They turned the old prison in Ohio where Shawshank was filmed into a haunted house!! I believe it is the Mansfield Penitentiary, this place is ranked among haunted places in the U.S. You need to check it out Death.
I got charged with the same thing in Illinois but I was in vermilion county! Possession of a narcotic 8 grams of heroin possession of a prescribed medication without a prescription I had like 25 Percocets, and distribution and manufacturing of marijuana. I had 82 grams. they hit you with everything they can they're just like he said they leave no stone unturned if they can charge you with it they will. The county where I'm at it's called cop-out county. Cuz everybody's going to cop out to a plea one way or another. That old roundhouse prison was called Joliet. My grandfather used to work there.I'm not trying to repeat what he said everything I just said was before you got to the Joliet part of the video.
Statesville is heaven once you leave Cook County......Cook County is lit all day everyday....

Stateville has never changed locations. Also F house is not a haunted house. Joliet was a separate prison that is now closed down. They are not going to allow random people in a cell house on the grounds 50 feet from the chow hall for a haunted house. 🤦🏻♀️

I just don't know why they don't give criminals a choice of work for your own freedom or do 100 percent of the sentence, because it take 21 day to create a habit, the thought being that while they are away they can learn a trade and work habits that would give them a opportunity to learn and give back to the community that they betrayed

Death! Check out mansfield prison. Ohio State reformatory. They have blood prison for halloween. And Inkcarceration music and tattoo festival in july. Its a real haunted prison. And films like shawshank redemption and godsmack were filmed there. Its the real deal prison experience, outside from being on the inside when it was active.
