When I was a new Muslim I used to doubt the hadeeth, then I started to learn Arabic and study it s and now I defend it completely because you don't know how beautiful it is unless you go deeply into its study. Yes it's true there is inauthentic hadeeth and that should be Ignored not removed. Keep it as a warning and don't use it to formulate the law.
How can you say hadiths are authentic when they say our beloved prophet married a 6 year old .

Please read the verse 151 of Sura Baqara. This is the plan of Allah that Islam will be taught through the "Teachings of Quran and Teachings of Rosul". Read verse 59 (last part) of Sura Nisa, Allah instructed to come back to Quran and Sunnah for resolving any dispute if arises. Allah could say, come back to Quran only!!!

King Salman Is 100% correct! Where in the Quran does it say a Muslim must follow the Hadith? The Hadith is an interpretation given by human beings. Sahih - Al - Bukhari & Sahih Muslim can be regarded as the most authentic "Hadiths" but it is not compulsory for a Muslim to acknowledge them. In one Hadith Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) put guards around a female dog and her litter. This was 100% true! His love for cats and dogs was greater than his love for himself. In his prayers to "Allah" the prophet would say "I do not have this type of perfection in my soul." This is the reason cats and dogs have incredible therapeutic value for those who love animals. Alhamdulillah!

وَطُورِ سِينِينَ
95/2. for the sake of northern area residents.
Meanwhile Tuamoto in the Pacific. Volcanic activity is still going on because there was south pole as a positive magnetic. Now traversed by a negative magnetic coming from the Antarctic. From this flows the magnetic south towards Mecca, but before arriving, had collided with the magnet from the north in the belly of the Earth.

He is doing the right thing. Sunnism has become another religion long deviated from the Quran. Sunnism unfortunately has been used by some ulamas for power and money. Most of the prophet Muhd can be found in the Quran with Allah summoning him to Say....all major religion has gone through changes and sunnism not spared.

Some of Allahs words are quoted in Hadiths, we should follow both Allah and his Messenger. His messenger, in his words, gives practical details about certain matters while in his actions, gives practical examples of certain matters.

Salman may be a traitor to Islam but he is right to refuse hadiths as a source of legal laws.This is giving hadith same divine status as quranic revelations which is disguised SHIRK!!
Hadiths are important for rites etc but not other narrations which are subjective. Haraam and halal stops with quran revelations. No haraam or halal outside of quran.
Even the most beloved prophet Muhammad was not allowed to pronounce halal and haraam by himself, He was ordered to break his oath by Allah Almighty' Himself who revealed a whole new sura(tahrim,sura66)just to make this point clear.
All fitnas arise from no sense of priority in islamic injunctions because of giving undue importance to hadiths.

Many of the Hadiths contradict the principles of the Holy Quran giving some people the chance to disrespect The Holy Prophet And Islam as a whole so why do you worry if such Hadiths are removed? Not all the Hadiths but some are just stories when pondered
This doesn't change the fact that they cannot do that. Though some of the hadiths are weak and cannot be taken as basis for what should and shouldn't be done, they would still have some lessons in them. They could also be used so that people in the future and even those at present would know how to identify which hadiths are weak and which aren't because they can make some comparisons. There are also some hadiths where the different school of thoughts have different interpretations but are authentic. How will we know how they will deal with those too? After they remove the "so-called" weak hadiths, there might be another set of the "so-called" weak hadiths according to "them." Furthermore, from what I know, they don't have the authority to do that. They even had conflicts with the scholars in the past. It should not be the government that decides on this too; they aren't even as knowledgeable as the scholars. And this same government headed by the King who allowed concerts in Saudi Arabia? It is scary to think how they could remove everything they don't like and just retain what is favorable to them under the guise of weak hadiths. Plenty of us layman wouldn't know if they did that, but those who really study the hadith and the scholar would see. And if you we look at what has been happening in the recent years, we could really see that slowly but surely, they are changing rules and restricting the influence of Islam under a supposedly "good" reason, just like this current issue. On the surface it seemed good. But if you really try to understand what would be the consequences of this, it would be severe. Ya Allah, please protect us from this.

@@garvey90z79 I totally agree that we shouldn't and couldn't decide about that as laymen. 100% What I meant is laymen wouldn't immediately know if something is authentic or not since we only follow what was told to us, which is rightfully so. That's why if someone else who isn't an expert in that were to remove something from the hadith that shouldn't be, we might not even know.

Imam Al-Qurtubi, in his Tazkirah, and Hafiz ibn Hajar, in Sharh al-Bukhari, while citing a narration from Sayyidna ` Abdullah ibn ` Umar ؓ have also reported that the Holy Prophet ﷺ said: After this event, that is, after the rising of the sun from the West, the world will keep surviving for one hundred and twenty years. (Ruh al Ma'ani)
After these details, there is a question. According to authentic religious reports, when Sayyidna ` Isa (علیہ السلام) will return to the world, he will invite people to believe. People would believe. Islam will become the religion of the world. It is obvious that, should believing at that time remain unacceptable, this call and the entry of people in the fold of Islam would become meaningless.

The contemporary young sheiks who're adherents of the Wahabi Sect are applying more and more Islamic Fatwas attributed to the Prophet Muhamed SCW, the sources of which are mostly doubtful, untraceable and vague and give verdicts which are contradicting to Allahs laws which He has decreed in the Qur'an on the most important matters of life. The young extreme sheikhs apply more and more hundreds and endless laws attributed to the Sunna of Prophet Muhamed, peace be upon him, thus making the Prophet more reliable than his Lord, Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala.

Thank. Excellent explanation. The Hadith of our Nobel Prophet (saw) shows us how to understand and apply the holy Quran into practice without that , no one will understand the Quran properly at all. And also Hadith is the second sources of Islamic law( shariat ) , so it must be understood and followed. May Allah the Almighty guide these who claim that they are only following the Quran.

I wonder if his team has the courage to correct the Hadith Thaqalain. This insha Allah would solve most of the problems for Muslims, although it would cause MBS to lose his throne.
he's approach is right brother because not all hadith are authentic and we always reference Holy Quran as it's a word of Allah and if any hadith isn't aligned, ambiguous or vague then it have to be removed else this woud create division in Islam like shia and sunni Muslim and both think their ways were right as a result it would not only tarnish the image of Islam seen by non-muslim but worst yet creating a war among them. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said Islam in the end time wil be divided into 73 section and only one that is acceptable by Allah.
