So many more training opportunities occurred after the death of her parents when she had to take on the role of mother to her younger siblings and keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. Shania has such a great voice and dominant voice and she is an awesome performer. I can’t seem to get over that in interviews Shania is such nice understated person. We had potatoes for an entire week once for dinner. I did have to sit in cafeteria with no lunch, but under 10 times. Lost my father @ 17, husband @ 21. Left me with 2 babies in diapers. Got 2 jobs. And my baby brother was born mentally handicapped. I was a mother before I gave birth. Due to my mother's illness, I had to be the strength for sisters & brother. God bless THE CHILDREN!! That go through such hard times. WE are strong. But, we can't always be strong every minute. I love ya! Keep going & thank you for sharing!!!
