- Following feedback in the comments from last week's Monday Mix, it appears the majority of you like the trivia section 🤷🏻♂️. So it is back again, although it may hurt the viewing figures! 😁 I have loads of coins and eBay purchases to share with you today as well.

The 1950 and 1953 were nice additions. I like a bit of trivia, I'm glad you kept it in the video 👍
I have some more pre-decimals coming! 😁
Thank you for showing us your recent purchases. 😊 I did not realise the 'snake' one was out. Away to buy it now. 😊
I did mention it in last week's Monday Mix, but hadn't received the coin up till then. Not a bad design in my opinion.
Very very nice to receive a Coin Patrol signed bunny with the side inscription Glen, one of an exclusive club, My part time team to follow is Plymouth and thoroughly enjoyed their victory😂😂 Under Rooney they will go down, you will see. Loved the continuation of on this day & two very deserving ladies it was dedicated to👏 nice 1950 old penny too, I’m sure Paul would appreciate that.
We just weren't at it on Saturday. looked leggy and slow. The momentum was interrupted by the stupid International break (another one in October as well). Pilgrims fully deserved their win. You seem to be very diversified in team supporting. Live in the South, support the Red Devils, and follow a West Country team part time 🤷🏻♂
@@mackemmoolah Yes and it doesn’t stop there, my son is a huge fan of Torquay, and we tend to see them whenever they’re in Kent😀
@@ianritchie9017 Isn't that who Helen Chamberlain that used to host Soccer AM supports?
@@mackemmoolah Correct, I am not quite sure where it all stemmed from, but a gull supporter he is through & through
What a stunning coin is the Mayflower £2 coin, really a great design! Love the trivia bits it's always part of the coin world. Cheers mate.
I agree. Both Mayflower coins have been well designed. It’s sometimes difficult to find some trivia that has a coin related element to it. Thanks for the comment 👍
Love the penny paving stone from Emma and some lovely pre decimal purchases. Great you managed to get a 1950 Penny and you are not far off completing those both albums now 😊. The Lunar £5 and both WCs are really nice purchases also. Nice signed Bunny from Coin Patrol and I'm glad you kept the On this day section. Thank you for the music trivia dedication 😊 xx
I've been on a silly EBay spending spree, and have more to come! 😳😁. You're welcome on the song dedication 👍😊
Good of Paul (Coin Patrol) sending a signed 50p 😊
Well done on adding the 50’ & 53’ into the album 🤗
If agincourt was at 2:15pm that means that Magna Carta was around lunchtime 🤔🤣
Some nice EBay wins
Fab info as usual Glen
Great stuff Mackemmoolah 👍🏻
Yes that’s correct, just after they had eaten their sandwiches 🥪 😂😂😂
great mix of coins loved the video thank you for the info
Thanks for watching CWeed and glad you liked it. Hope all is well with you 👍
Hey Jude love it thank you 🥰 I love the IOM Mayflower £2 several starting to hit circulation now 😁. Wow that was an expensive penny I have given so many away. Great video. x
It was a tad on the expensive side, but wasn’t intended for use in the UK as they had been shipped abroad. I suppose it’s like buying a 50p Kew for £200 😂😂 You’re welcome on the dedication 👍 x
Another Great MMM Mackem. Three weeks ago you found a 1993 5p with different AA marks so I went through my doubles and found a third AA mark witch is only half way to what you showed. And found the 1997 50p with three different AA marks one AA Touching one with small gap and one with large gap. 😊
Ian S. (who has a comment in the chat) also told me there was one coin that has 50! variations to it (large lettering die mark, small, on the right, on the left etc). Can't recall which one, but it may have been the IOM motorbikes from '97. It is certainly worth checking your spares.
@@mackemmoolah Just looked at Numista it says there are 31 variations on the 1997 AA 50p wow
I really enjoyed this episode, the IOM Mayflower £2 is a beauty il definitely pick that up sometime.
What a bargain for that half penny album like I said previously I have a huge collection of old coins and I will go through them and send you all the dates I have,if there is any you need I will gladly send them to you.
All the best.
Cheers Paul. I knew I had these pennies on EBay watch (and there are a few more to come 😁)
Great vid as usual. You might need to cement the penny to a wall to stop coin collectors.
Lol! 😂
Another great monday mix mate 👌 👍
Thanks. A bit of everything today just about! 😁
Hi Glen , my favourite coin was the sphinx on the mix tonight. Am glad you kept the trivia in. P
I aim to please 😁 and it seemed most wanted the trivia kept in. I suppose it’s a bit different from other coin channels, but try to find trivia that could be coin related. I like Egyptian coins that have famous icons on, like Cleopatra, Tutankhamen, the Pyramids or in this case the Sphinx.
It reminded me of one of the David Bowie £5 bunc packs 😊
@peterdouglas2630 Yes it does! 😂
Great video Glen. The collection of pre-decimal coins growing so quickly I see. I really like the IOM Mayflower coin 👍👍👍
Got more pre-decimals coming as well 😊
Love it. Glad you kept the music trivia in. Not sure about £18 on a penny like 😅 Needs must I suppose. I got the centenary card too, also just need the NI 😅
It's a very low minted coin 2Cap, and wasn't intended for circulation in the UK, but to be used in the colonies. Obviously servicemen etc. brought them back with them. There were quite a few bidders on it, which shows the interest. And if you think about it Kew Gardens is valued between £140-£200, and that's just a low minted 50 pence! 😁
Hi Glen, excellent selection of coins especially the Pennies and Mayflowers. Nice to see the garden Penny as hadn't seen that one before. Recently on a job a guy had the same thing but they were 1964 Farthings, as he had 4 of them i commented about there being 4 designs for them that year, but he didn't seem to know what i was talking about 😁 so not a collector then. Excellent upload 😎👍
I would have probably said the same Ian, as farthings weren't produced after 1956, so obviously he had fakes! 😂😂
@@mackemmoolah must of been 54 then 😂😂😂
@ian.s424 😂😂 Actually Ian, I was quite curious about your initial post, and found that ‘53 had 4 variations. May do a similar vid to the 1992 10p, based on your info 👍
@@mackemmoolah Hi Glen, just went through a box and your correct it is a 53 year set that has the differences. That's the fun of posting and not googling first 🤣
@ian.s424 😁👍
Funny enough, both myself and the wife, are both snakes 🤣 born 11 months between us in 53 and 54, might be tempted to buy one 🤔😊
That's pretty clever. One of you must have been born from late January/February '53, and the other in early January '54. I know the Chinese Years aren't straight January-December like ours.
@@mackemmoolah I was born the end of February, 53, and the wife January 54 🙂
Hi, if you are born January February the beginning of the year can start at a different date each year from 21st of January to the 20th February . If born before that date, you are the sign of the year before.
Correct. The Chinese New Year for 2025 starts on 29th January. Think I mentioned that in last week's video.
Wow you stacking silver again Glen 😂
😂😂 Certainly looks like it! And there may be more to come 😉
