  • Smoking Beef Jerky. I have 3.2 lbs of Top round steak using Traeger Rub.
Cook time is roughly 3.5 to 4 hrs at a temp of around 180 ( varies on sizes of meat being cooked)
Ingredients: Any meat you desire but cut to thin slices, Traeger Jerky Rub, Apple juice, and soy sauce. VERY SIMPLE!!
    STEPS:
1.Get a bowl that will fit all the ingredients along with the meat.
    Traeger Rub asks for :
    1lbs of meat
    3 TBSP Jerky Rub
1/2 C Soy Sauce (light or regular)
    1 C Apple Juice
Again I will be using this exact recipe but x3.2 to make for the amount of meat I will be using.
    2. Add all the ingredients into the bowl.
    3. Add meat. Be sure that none of the pieces are stuck together to make sure the whole piece has contact to the ingredients.
    4. seal up the meat in a bowl or zip lock bags and place in fridge for roughly 12 hrs or overnight. *note the longer you marinate, the saltier your meat might be, depending on the soy sauce you use.
    5. Set Traeger or any smoker to 180.
    6. Before placing meat on the grill be sure to lay out your meat and take a paper towel and dab the meat to get the juice off the surface. This helps with the cooking process and time. the meat has already absorbed everything so excess moisture can prevent the cook time and/or quality of the jerky.
    7. check about 2 hours in to see how they are doing, any smaller ones could be done a lot faster than the bigger ones.
    8. Once the Jerky is tuff and dry, take the jerky off and lay the jerky out so they may cool down naturally before sealing them to store them.
    9. YOUR DONE!! Real easy!
I hope this helped out! again this is super easy and cheap way to make good tasting jerky! if there is anything that you might think will be good to video or any how to suggestions let me know in the comments and please don't forget to like and subscribe and Share this video!! Thanks again so much for watching! I hope this makes Smokin Easy!!!
