- Hey everybody! This is going to be a pretty long vlog haha, hence why I missed the upload last week. Yes... I have just quit my first job! I actually just had the last day of work this week and it felt super bittersweet to be saying goodbye, didn't expect to get so emotional this week from quitting haha. Does anyone else remember quitting their first job? I would love to know how you guys felt when you did! I think your first job feels like such a safe space and it's scary to look ahead man. Anyways, I hope this means there will be more new and interesting content to look forward to on this channel, thanks for sticking around! ❤️

I just wanted to say I notice the difference in the quality and the effort you put in with the lenses and audio etc! I think one of the qualities that make your vlogs stand out is how well you capture the close up shots, establishing shots, mid range shots etc, it all contributes to a very dreamlike quality and I feel relaxed watching these sequences. All the best in your new role!

Such a lovely vlog and a major milestone in leaving your first job!! I remember when I left mine too and you nailed it regarding the bittersweet feelings. I think, in my case, I was also quite aware that it would be the last time I would see certain people and having that realisation so soon after coming to the same conclusion regarding some uni friends was kinda scary too, especially since the two events were only a couple of years apart. Nevertheless, that is adulthood and the challenge of navigating our own lives =) I'm sure you'll move on to bigger and better things, even if the path there isn't perfectly linear! Glad that you decided to take a couple of weeks in between jobs, it's a well-deserved and much needed rest. Please don't feel obligated to spend more time during that period creating content since you likely will need your rest too to prepare for your new challenge! And don't worry about your upload schedule as you settle in at the new job, the settling in period is always the most tiring.. Once you climb that hill, I'm sure things will go back to normal so no need to worry over it or rush things! Can't wait to see how everything goes, all the besttt 💖

You'll be fine! It's normal to feel that way especially when it's your first job. There will be many many more to come, so just make the best of your experiences!

Awww I didn't realise how much thought goes into making these high quality vlogs - from using different lenses to switching mics. 🥲And I do agree with your friend who said that quitting your first job is akin to leaving your first love! I am working on my first real job too and I feel too comfortable to leave, but at the same time I know that the way to grow in your career and as a person is to also step out of your comfort zone and do something different... :/ On the bright side, use the break in between to go on a long vacation!

When I first quitted my first ever full time job after university graduation, shortly after Covid got worsen. Ouch. Wrong timing. xD
