in some swamp areas here in germany , we have this pipes too. under the top side of thepipe is a little gas-o-meter . you can show there how much swamp gas is in a certain depth .the more concentrated the worse . thanks for this video jimmy
This. is. AWESOME! As someone outside of the Appalachian area, I'd not heard of the TNT area, so this is fascinating. I played it back a couple times to see if there was anything I'd missed. The kayaking DOES just look peaceful. I'd love to check out those bunkers some time, just feel the energy. What a sick trip to get to make! All that was missing was Jimmy giving us the finger guns at the end ;) LOVE IT! :D
Thanks for filming and showing this part of the TNT area. It helped to understand the layout and the access to the bunkers, although I have seen photos of individual bunkers and parts of the lake, you couldn't tell the distance or the direction to get from 1 area to another. Is it heavily visited on weeekends?
It depends on the time of year. Fall after the festival up till spring there’s not a lot of people there. This video was filmed on a weekend. I think they start up the tours next weekend again, even then there’s not that many people out there.
A very well done video, thank you. So very creepy. Reminds me of a documentary that I saw some years ago- have never found it again- but, focused on the TNT area a a connection to Mothman.

It’s on my list for another video I don’t always go there when I’m in town but it’s awesome to visit. I don’t recommend it in the summer it’s very hot and muggy
@@SpookyAppalachia I get it. I live in FL and hardly ever go out when I don't need to in Summer and even September and October can be hot as hell here. I don't know how FL Sasquatch research groups do it. I was going to move up there but I don't know anyone there, so I am looking at Indiana where I do know someone. Or my home state of Ohio.
Are you from southern Ohio? random question, i know... the name and the face seem like i remember you. i cant say from where though sorry for the random question....completely random i know.
Same thing in PA on state game land 257 The government came in and tore down the town kicked everyone off the property until they got them all built the war is over and everyone lost their home in it
Loved seeing the TNT area!❤ can’t imagine what it’s like at night. Appreciated Donald’s boat footage as well. Quite an area.
There’s SO much more as well. I think someone told me there’s over 1000 of the igloos

No problem glad you liked it. I think someone told me they are for measuring the toxicity of the water.

There's actually WAY more bunkers that i didn't go to as well. I think there's maybe 100 or so if I remember what I was told.
Watched video a few times and the grafitti is so creepy to try and read each one on the walls, fun video!
Very interesting to see on video. I have always wondered about this place. I bet someone singing in the bunker would sound really cool
Glad you liked it! Yeah it’s got some very cool echos in those things
Very interesting video. As an outdoorsman I loved the pond areaand if not bad water, what a place for some bass fishing!
Yeah I don’t recall there being fish but it was winter so might just been hibernation
Thank you for sharing this these bunkers my family found 2 of them in Mudd creek ky
@@robindick2317 you’re welcome!

I grow up right next to this area it is a, (WMA) McClinton Wildlife Management Area now. My Dad would go fishing there and get BIG fish,
That's awesome! I bet you might have some stories.
Oh man, what a cool area! I'll definitely have to check that out the next time I'm up there!
It’s a lot of fun but be careful if you go in the summer. It’s super hot and muggy. You might be used to that though!
Great video! A lot of the graffiti was definitely creepy with the mothman with red eyes and the random creatures
Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed it! I had like 2 hours of footage originally. I think I may put it all into a video and put it up into the patreon.
@@SpookyAppalachia OH, I definitely did. Yes!! Do that with the 2 hours of footage. I'm sure that we love to see it.

Oh wow did not know that’s awesome. Hope you liked the video!
Would be a great place to make a home, rebuild the inside with wood. Except for the poison water and no windows.
I’m told the water is fine now but I don’t think I would drink it

If you're hearing gunshots ...the range is out in tnt
Yeah knew about that, there was people hunting at the time too.
