Intense - Enjoyed that Dan! Although the S2K is clearly got an advantage on those Brembo's it didn't stop you having a good time trying to keep up. Something special about a K swapped eg... They are just so raw :-). Now you have had a decent amount of experience with fwd & rwd k20's, I'm sure I'm not the only one that would enjoy hearing your opinions on the differences between them both on road & on track. Keep it up, enjoying the mix of content 👍🏻.
Amazing how well balanced the S2k is and traction getting out the corners is just what I need. My k24 in my EK is struggling a lot with that even with 225 tires at the front. This wants me to swap my k24 into an s2k more and more haha! Such a nice video!
Two of the most legendary Hondas with choice power mods, the S2000 has a huge grip advantage. Good driving also, on a technical track! Great video, will watch a few times.
S2k looks & sounds bland compared to the Civic & also lacks straight line performance, could be the gearing but i wasn't all that impressed with the S2K.
He can wheel, that's for sure. Not gonna say anything bad about the S2k driver since I'd be careful too driving a RWD after some rain, but catching up to and passing that Evo on a damp track was impressive.
Massive difference in tire size. In rain or snow, the one that can make do with less grip would still be fun. My tuned 98 Civic Hatch (bought new) is still the best winter car I've ever owned.

EG has the faster speed at the straight, but the S2k can corner and brake faster. Bigger tyres and brakes. More weight sure, that's why it's slower on the straight

Perfect .. me with my accord k24 typeR i enjoy my ride everyday people trust me . I got an E-manage ecu with it .. Those Merc or bmw i would play everyday smoothly with them anywhere they want . That is why i love love love HONDA
U can pick up speed in the hatch at the s curve with less braking just something I've noticed but I love your technique I'm into track built Hondas due to your videos

In my Megane I find it's usually Civic and DC5 drivers that don't like to move over. Looking at this vid, the Megane is faster on the straights and being held up by traffic which is the only times the Honda is held up too.
From what I see, it's a track focused RWD or AWD compared to FWD. The S2k as more displacement and more tire surface contact. The EG is still really close. I'm a huge S2k fanboy but the EG got the win for me. Also, the EG have absolutely no aerodyamic upgrade while the S2k got the complete kit. Put some BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-71R on that Civic, pretty sure it outrun the S2K for 1/4 the money

Those hatchbacks are so fun to drive quite proud of owning one.
It's clear the s2000 is quicker. But that eg looks like a proper bit of fun to drive.
