Crashed so hard on my bicycle, for weeks I heard Face up in my head with all the stars circling my head. I was concusses I saw stars for a month and kept singing "Sometimes in life we take a tumble"
Wow that’s mental mate! I got knocked off my bike at Xmas by a speeding car I went in the air and broke my neck as I landed my head apparently was like a pneumatic drill on the road I had a bad head injury then had post concussion, while I was in hospital I couldn’t stop playing this song on repeat and still playing it now!!
Ich schreibe es in deutsch. Das ist nach Blue Monday mein Lieblingslied. Andererseits frage ich mich eben, welcher Joy Division/New Order song schlecht ist?👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's just you...trust me. She looks like a purposeful, brilliant young musician wanting to entertain that she was and still is after all these years. Perhaps laundry beckons?
The only thing that annoys the shit out of me with Sub Culture live is that it never has the female vocals that lead the track 'One of these days'. For me it's the highlight of the track and always has been since 1985.
See later live performances of the song (2010 or later) and you will find the version you seek is all they play. I am glad this version is available here on YT since I don't think NO will play it this way... perhaps Peter Hook and the Light will.
@@hahartley100 I think he sounds just fine too! Never understood the criticism with his voice. He's got a simple, no frills kinda voice but it works for their music. I find it lovely and sweet sounding myself.

old times that are no longer worth
Still no Thumbs Down! Of course!!!
I gave it a thumbs down…or did I? You’ll never know.
👏👏❤️🕺
Is it just me or does Gillian always like she was doing the ironing?
I don't think barney ever appreciated how people would spend the entire song just looking at Gillian. 😳
She is

Perhaps laundry beckons?
hope she sees this bro
It's just you.
Dečki udaraju New-Ageovski , a New Age je naj noviji panteizam. Inače panteizam je u Indiji star oko 4000 godina . Mika
I’ve noticed that the register in the verse is lower than the chorus in “Subculture”. Not saying it’s bad or anything, just an observation.
BE HONESTLY!!! YOU HATE NEW ORDER!!! IT´S A JOKE! : )
The same is true of Face Up
Subcultura
1985 New Order would think 2019 New Order sucks.
A bit cruel, don't you think so!
@@augustonavarretetemponi8341 Yes, but what if he's right.
The truth can be terribly cruel, apart from relative!
Nah, they would think “damn, we’re still doing this after all these years?”

Probably because they usually played in 85 the album version rather than remixed version found on substance and the 12” single
Substance version sucks ass
i don't like how Bern sings in this live....

Me encanta esta banda, pero por lo que veo en los vivos la voz de Bernard se pierde... una pena
Ni en las grabaciones de estudio canta bien...
Is that a chorus effect on the vocals?

They're pretty subdued back then-it's their Culture. "The Nail that sticks up, gets pounded down."
Cómo lo sabes?
Trust me. They’re going mental in their heads.
BERNARD SOUNDS AWFUL
Isn’t that par for the course with him.
Bernard sounds amazing!
As he always did. He sounds awful and it’s amazing, he was awfully amazing!
As long as he sounds raw, not some auto tuned note perfect X factor wannabe; it fits the working class northern nature of the song perfectly.
