Interprétation plus rapide que celle de Perlman je préfère, très bonne violoniste, bonne sonorité de violon, âme féminine qui convient très bien pour ce concerto, beau lié superbe...Merci
Not to be annoying or anything but isn't the second note of the cadenza F#? Every other recording has it that way. Perhaps a memory slip? Nonetheless, still one of my favorite recordings of the piece.
I wondered about that. Others like Kogan also do F-natural. When this theme is first played in the opening it is natural. But at the end of the cadenza it is sharp...
As Elena said below, In some editions, both versions are written, the musicians play the version that is closer to them. The orchestra starts with the F natural. Another note, Viktoria often took classes with Kogan and as you know he plays F natural at the beginning of the cadenza and F# at the end. Wonderful performance.
this is the best vieuxtemps ever
I liked Heifetz' vieuxtemps a bit better
This concerto is so awesome
sometimes a shorter piece like this is a way to go
un violon de merveille et un orchestre divin, admiration profonde

Concerto consists of three movements played without a break:
1. Allegro non troppo 14:02
2. Adagio 3:40
3. Allegro con fuogo 1:13
o viktoria quelle victoire !

Yes, most players I know of play an F sharp. Why she plays a natural is a mystery (to me, anyway.)
В некоторых изданиях пишутся оба варианта исполнения, музыканты играют тот вариант, который им ближе
