Dexys Midnight Runners - The Celtic Soul Brothers (The Paul Hogan Show, October 1983)

A very rare performance of The Celtic Soul Brothers from LATE 1983! Not much is known about Dexys from late 1983, as they stopped touring during mid-1983 and they wouldn't release another album until 1985. This was filmed for the UK's Channel 4, originally aired in Australia (on 10th October 1983) and in the United Kingdom (on 4th November 1983).
There is a stranger line-up of the band, as Steve Shaw is notably missing, and instead is replaced with their touring violinist, Simon Walker (who'd usually play in live shows, not in mimed performances). Furthermore, the bassist is unknown, as he doesn't appear to look like John Edwards, but rather, he looks like their touring Trombonist from 1983, Chris (who's last name we are unaware of).
