Hey, 331Erock , I know it's a few years late and I heard this song done by you years ago, but I guess this is the first time watching it til the very end of the video ---- bad habbit of cutting off then the person talking or person performing is done performing / etc --- but even if it was just for show, don't beat yourself up so much --- every step toward the final product is a step in the right direction, just because you don't end up including it or you think it sounds like trash, just because it doesn't end up in the product of your work doesn't mean it was not a worthy component. you don't need to beat yourself up over your work, I know it's a work of passion, but even though many of these songs are your own arrangements of existing works, you're a great musician, and one of hte best rockers I've heard perform on guitar in a while. You have your own sound and (now ) even a band? you're the best metalhead on youtube (who makes videos of your own performances) --- you're too good to be saying anything negative about brainstorming. Maybe it's not worth being in the peice you're working on, but don't crap all over it just because you don't think it sounds right for that moment ... it might be best shelved for later use or taken as a learning experience , but in the end, even a failure is a great chance to benefit from learning from it, so no need to ever let your own criticism bring you down. You're worth better than that. doesn't matter if you never read this, I'd be glad if even one person reads this , and gets even a tiny bit of benefit from it. Metal is a work of passion, it's , in its darkest moments , a show of love, "effort" to get the "perfect" sound out of your music is one of the greatest labors of love one can ever muster
