DRourk Count Dukku had a weaker presence in the films. His role was only established more in the cartoon, while Maul actually left an impression and looked intimidating. Maul never ran away and faced his foes. Dukku always ran away like a coward.
Neon Wave Count Dooku didn't appear in The Phantom Menace, and Maul looked comically stupid to me, hardly intimidating. All in all, other than the Emperor (and later Anakin the bad guys in the prequel were shallow and weak, and one of the worst aspects of the prequels. Anakin himself kinda sucked as a bad guy as he was mostly portrayed just a temper tantrumed adolescent.

I was listening to this while playing Mount And Blade Star Wars Conquest mod - and while the sabers were clashing against each other in a ferocious battle, your amazing interpretation of the song made every second more intense, where surviving this battle was a matter of honor to every note played. Fantastic!

Just imagine in episode 8 Finn and Rey start approaching Ren's chambers, only to hear a familiar voice say: "Traitor..." The camera pans to Reveal Nines, Kylo has trained him and he's now one of the Knights of Ren, he whips out a guard shoto Saber and then this theme starts playing over an epic battle involving the three in a Saber fight, and to end it all off Finn chops Nines in half as a callback to phantom menace.
Actually what made Nines uber badass was the fact that he was just a regular stormtrooper with a stun baton and kickass melee skills... also Nines > Finn
