    Blue Heron Bridge has been a must-see for me from the beginning. This was a wonderful tour of some of the main attractions! Even with low visibility - you guys still had some pretty cool dives with lots of marine life making an appearance. Thanks for all the important tips - will heed those on my journey down there.

      Glad you enjoyed the tour and found the tips useful! There is plenty to see and lots of cracks and crevices to check for marine life. We were surprised by the horseshoe crabs and hope to see more when we make it back. Hope you get there soon!

      If you guys plan another trip and don't mind a tag along, I would meet you down there. That dive shop also came highly recommended by a friend of mine. Glad to also see guys were diving with Force-E.!

      So cool! We can't wait to see your video. We're hoping to make a trip back soon, and would love to find some frogfish and see the bridge with better viz.

    Hey Jeff, Great stuff! I downloaded your vids for my work trip and have really enjoyed them. This is one of my old dives… I’m going to try to find a video I made on it to see how far underwater videography has come since the mid 2000s lol. You’re definitely making me miss diving! -Dewie from AOD

      Great eye! He blends right in. We didn't even see it sitting there until we looked at the video later. 😊 However, that happens to be a scorpionfish. So glad we didn't accidently run into him. Days one and 2 look like lake the middle of Lake Erie on a good day (1 to 4 ft vis) till the thermocline moves in with the current then it is brail
    Well documented as always looks like a good spot for people starting out when the water is clear

    • @TritonsRealm
      @TritonsRealm  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We enjoyed our time at the BHB despite the low vis which improved over the days that we were there. The spot gets busy on the weekends with different open water classes. We're spoiled at home in the USVI with good vis regularly.

    Many of the artificial reef structures at Blue Heron Bridge were built by REEF CELLS. They have built reef structures for FWC, NOAA, UM, DARPA, ORA etc. in the Fl Keys, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Barbuda, Antigua and other sites.

      We love creating the 3D maps/models. A while back we did a "How To" video on creating a 3D model of an old anchor. You can check it out here: th-cam.com/video/3NWrX4mMP9E/w-d-xo.html. The overall dive site map animation was done in Adobe After Effects. Thanks for watching.

    I'm curious to know why you would be at risk of getting entangled in fishing lines? Seems like with all the other places to dive, you could forgo the fishing area. Maybe something to keep in mind for next time that it's important to respect everyone using the public park.

    • @TritonsRealm
      @TritonsRealm  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      As avid waterman we also love to fish, and respect anyone using the pier for recreation. However as a diver any time you go under the bridge to get to the other side, fishing lines are a risk that need to be accounted for. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    I am moving to the East Coast from Hawaii and I can't believe y'all can see anything ! When our viz is bad , it is not as bad as your "better" day. I am afraid I am going to have to give up scuba diving when I move . Shoots .I'm so sad.

    • @TritonsRealm
      @TritonsRealm  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't give up Scuba diving! Every place is different and unique. When you live on the East Coast you'll be closer to various islands including those in the Caribbean. We love living and diving in the USVI - consider a visit sometime.

      I live on the east coast and this is in March so yeah end of tourist season and what we consider winter. This might not be Hawaii but had they gone even a month later wouldn't be any "bad" visibility. I don't even consider getting in the water in March too cold for me.

    • @TritonsRealm
      @TritonsRealm  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We love diving the east coast of FL, and couldn't agree more that the water temp in March isn't to cold.
      We also had the opportunity to dive the bridge in April, and had some great marine life encounters and nice visibility. It's such a fun spot to dive. th-cam.com/video/n2hFFr5MgqM/w-d-xo.html
