    I have Tinnitus and sometimes it’s hard to sleep even when I put a fan. My yoga teacher suggested yoga nidra when I can’t sleep and I tried this afternoon slept like a baby after 7’months of T. I am going to listen every night. Thanks for the amazing video. You are truly helping people get their sleep.

      In Shamanism, Tinnitus is seen as Frequencies from other worlds that just haven't been tuned right for us yet. Like when trying to find the right frequency for the radio. Found that at least a little bit of a positive thing about tinnitus.

    I am a doctor preparing for my post graduation examination and I wake up at everyday at 4 to study. I find it so difficult to fall asleep even when I retire to bed at 8.     I love this yoga nidra meditation. It makes me release all tension and makes me relax all my body and sleep like a baby when I can't sleep. Some of my family have insomnia and they have to take medicine in order to sleep, while I just listen to this wonderful video and sleep with no drugs effects. My family don't listen to me but I highly recommend this.

    This is not only great for sleeping, but to relax the nervous system and to ground you. Good for winding up in the daytime if you have half an hour time. 15 minutes or half an hour of this tape is enough.

    This is one of the best yoga Nidra videos I’ve listened to in a long time. I have so much energy & find it very hard to pace myself, people so often tell me I need grounding. Well this man’s voice has certainly grounded me. I’m totally relaxed, although I did have a hot bath beforehand coupled together both have done workers for my mental health. I’d recommend it to all my friends. I usually do a different one with a women’s voice, but now I’m converted as this one last longer and repeats more which I want. Thanks you so appreciated.     Why didnt i think of this before? Been trying expensive sleep aids, reading boring books etc...
    Not only does this work i feel more in touch with my body now. And the more i use this, it seems to become more automatic to relax and sleep. Doctors should be prescribing this before anything else!

    I've listened to hours of many different sleep meditation techniques and this is the best. The voice is so important and how refreshing to hear a kind soothing natural calm voice and the music is just there without all the usual spacey electronic effects and the balance is spot on. This is not trying to show off with detailed visualisation that stops you from sleeping and it's the best relaxation I've ever done. I'm so grateful that I've finally got what I've been looking for for a very long time. It could only be improved by your voice all the way with the repartition technique that is amazing. Thank you for doing this for the right reasons and not to feed an ego ; which isn't very spiritual at all..Brilliant

    I just attended a Nidra class. The primary instruction was to NOT fall asleep. However, I could understand that a use of Nidra would be to relax enough to move more easily into a sleep state. I just started the course so I will keep posting as my knowledge grows. Namaste.

      +Devora Yundt That is correct. The aim of yoga nidra as a spiritual practice is to remain awake as the body and mind go into a state of nidra. However, remaining awake when such total and deep relaxation comes can be very challenging. Therefore, for people who just need a reliable way to induce sleep when nothing else is working, they can do yoga nidra and simply not resist the temptation to slip off into unconsciousness when drowsiness sets in. In this way, 'yoga nidra for sleep' can be a great boon for those whom just want to get the rest they so desperately need.

    I don't understand how this makes you sleep when he's constantly directing you to think about parts of the body? It just makes my mind stay active. Don't get it but glad it's working for others

    I've been suffering from disturbed sleep for years - for the past week, when I've woken at 2/3 in the morning, I've played this & my Fitbit has recorded the most restful sleep ever - proper deep sleep! I've tried so many guided meditations & even a selection of Yoga Nidra meditations, none have had such a positive effect....I just hope it doesn't wear off!
    I would love to know if it's downloadable, so I don't get the ad blaring out beforehand....!

      Same.🥺🥺🥺Horrible sleep for weeks, now. I literally see light come and hear birds chirp. Only sleeping 6-8am, during lockdown. It’s been horrible.

    For those who claim they cannot visualize:
    Suppose for instance, you have never been to a tropical beach...
    What if you could just pretend to imagine a remote tropical beach?
    What would it look like? If you could visualize your self there now, how
    would it feel? What if you could imagine it in such a way that its even better
    than the real thing? Just the way you like it? As you continue to
    pretend to visualize, you may discover there is no pretend experiences,
    your dreams are just as 'real' as your waking life, therefore - this
    inner vision of the tropical beach... YOUR tropical beach, can be even
    MORE real and vivid, as you now, just relax into that place deep with in
    your self.

      I have not been able to get more then 1 to 2 hours at the time for a whole year...because of cymbalta withdrawal and my hormons are totally crazy . i have used this twice and both days I have gotten 4.5 hours of sleep without waking up. I don't know why.. but it works. I am grateful.. thank you
      if you ever need to get of cymbalta or any other antidepressive meds please don't go cold turkey. get help to tapering slowly down like places like cymbalta hurts worse Facebook.

    Unbelievable how this puts me into a deep sleep all the time. When I am stressed I listen to this I don’t sleep much maybe 5-6 hours but I don’t wake up throughout the night. Thank u and god bless

    I've tried this twice. Don't think I lasted more than 5 minutes before I was out for the night. Wow! Thank you very much Tripura Mandala!!!! Have been using YN to deal with post-concussion issues following car accident. Very helpful. I use 30 - 45 min during day, and this one at night. They really help balance energy.

    I have a teen with complex needs and health diagnoses. Sleep is challenging. Currently off and on with meditation but attempting to make it stick - again😁.     I loved this, found the image of my worries as a shape leaving my hand in a golden bubble so helpful. Thank you so much :)
    Perhaps when you get to the bit where you’re going through all the body parts, maybe this could be a bit slower? So there’s time to tune into each part of the body and release tension. Even just an extra second or two. It sort of stressed me out because I couldn’t keep up with relaxing all the different body parts! Otherwise loved it (until I fell asleep anyway.......!)

    This is my go-to ‘sleeping pill’. Ive trained myself so well on this, im literally asleep in under 10 minutes, depending on how tired I am and how busy my brain is.

    I just recently discovered nidra yoga and have been trying it for a week or so now. Yours is the one I keep coming back to. I only wish I could hear it all but I keep falling asleep! :-) But then falling asleep isn't really my issue, it's staying asleep that I struggle with.

    This is THE BEST meditation for sleep I have had ever! I'm a yogi and I meditate very much. I'll be in mid sleep and its like the words are speaking something totally different to my heart. I love it it is very good. Thank you. I only wish I could afford your cd's. I'm trying to save the money but I just totaled my car. so I'm stuck. thanks for having it on here. Money can not buy these sacred times :)
