Blk 451 Clementi Commercial HDB, Singapore - Mitsubishi NexWay-S Traction Elevator

This set of elevators replaced the older Fujitecs. It is one of the newest HDB installation by Mitsubishi for NexWay-S. In my personal opinion, this is one of the better LUP installation although it is unfortunate that the old classic Fujitecs had to go.

At the time of installation, yes. I have not observed any new LUP installations by Mitsubishi for quite a while, so this is a pleasant surprise.

You know the 4-door glass Mitsubishi that you videoed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport? Apparently looking from the clutch design visible in the door area in the video, the landing doors can be pulled back and reopened after both sets of doors have closed to facilitate quick maintenance jobs.

Firstly, LG has since been renamed to SIGMA. Secondly, looking at the number of accidents involving SIGMA lifts, HDB banned SIGMA from installing new lifts indefinitely. Finally, these are replaced from the older Fujitec in early 2010s, so it is unlikely they will be replaced in the near future.
