Usually, the debut line up keep being cut. But it happens behind the scenes. From the moment a company introduces the members of the group, they're IN. There's no way they're going to be cut, they're already on the channel and group profile.

Don't worry, they will all debut. The evaluation is from last year. You can tell that by just looking at the hair color of Jennie and Lisa. If they didn't make it to the final lineup then they would've been blurred just like the other 3 members who didn't make it.

This is just cruel. If you are going to introduce them to the public and let them believe they are set for debut, debut them all! If YG wanted participation from the public and fans, there are plenty of ways to do that WITHOUT making it some dream crushing, last minute survival show. For example, if they wanted groups with fewer members, they should have introduced more than these final 7 girls, given two concepts and/or debut songs, two time frames for debut (ex. May 2023 and August 2023), and let the public decide which girls go into which group for the final lineup and the group that would debut first or second without cutting anyone.
Imagine how hurt they will feel to get eliminated after working so hard and showing them publicly.. this might lead to depression and emotional trauma.. YG don’t do this to them, they have come so far😢😢

Years of training don't guarantee their debut. All the blurred trainees in their videos have been trained for years too. At the end of the day, not everybody is going to make it. The difference is whether they show us the elimination process or not.

I was not expecting that at all. I really thought that these were the seven girls that would come together as one. The way they interact with each other in the way they just blend very well with taking care of each other and supporting one another was truly nice to see. And the fact that there is a potential that they might not debut all together that really blows my mind and it seems like you’re blowing everybody else’s mind. I really hope that each and everyone of these girls can debut as one in this group.
