Once a Titan cuatomer he never going back. The quality of lens is so good in titan
But I feel that they lack design
I bought Titan 6 years ago and now I just buy lenskart because I find their designs more aesthetically pleasing yet affordable and of good quality

Valuation is a very overrrated metric...and profitability is underrated...even the Sharks don't invest in loss making startups even though their own house is on fire.

Tata is not much focused on fashion brands if it is it will be dominating world fashion industry.
It will be great if you speech about how any business raise fund and what they outsource or manufacturers and manage to implement plans, basically in detail. Wish you including this point as Part of every business case study, this will definitely help youth like me in understanding practical approach and make thing turnabout in actual ❤🙏

It’s not the same. Lenskart is chasing valuation growth, while Titan eye plus is building a solid brand and products.
As a customer, I would prefer Lenkart for low price products, but prefer Titan eye plus for quality products
Low price 😅 they are just friends start from 999 if I am buying from market I can get my best glasses for 2500 and in lenskart it's 5000 my current glasses cost me around 1200

I use a Titan specs the after sales services is the best when compared to Lenskart.Lenskart mainly focouses on sales and not on customer satisfaction and also the quality of Titan product is very good compared to Lenskart

There is a Very Big difference in VC funds fueled , valued startups who are still surviving on such funds and genuine , fundamentally growing cash based business that are operating.
Now I know people will say Lenskart creates great products , but so does Titan eye.
I like Piyush as a entreprenuer but I still believe in the difference , I stated above. This a big difference.

@@lucky-to3ti If you talk about frames go with Lenskart, but only for lenses Titan Eye Plus is far ahead. You can compromise frames but not lenses.
Lenskart lenses easily scratches within 3-4 months. Even after cleaning the lenses with their lens cleaning solution and their microfiber cloth. They are just a cheap option, easy to order, easy to return and replace.
When you are successful, all people will talk about the positives only....

I wear spectacles since I was a kid. Never ever felt attracted to both lenakart or Titan eye plus. I was never excited with lenskart.

This is my experience with lenskart, my sister bought fossils from lenskart after looking at product quality of other options. If you look for quality and suttle elegance I would go for titan eye care but if I want a funky one yes lenskart beats there. But still the fossils were not even to the quality of what titan. Still just for fossils as a brand more youthful than titan we took it.
That's the young entrepreneur intelligent.

Ive used both lenskart and titan and if i just talk of the product then tital cost me 3.5k whereas lenskart cost me 2.5k

Once i went to a Lenskart showroom, and i think the people who work their kind of judged me over my clothes and when i asked more questions they said something like - Humarey frames yaha nai bantey ____ ____ jagha se bantey hain, in a bit rude manner,, which as acustomer i did not liked,, the same day i walked out of their show room and went to a Titan showroom, and the level of customer service was really really good, and i bought a good pair of glasses as well, the way Titan people talk with their customer their service its all worth it,, am never buying from a Lenskart showroom ever
My problem is there expensive 🫰 the trying to advertise their self as cheap glasses but they are not

Clickbait thumbnail, Titan eye care lens is much better in quality than lenskart ans i have used them both. And Tata also has fastrack brand which targets the low budget segment, Titan lens can cost 7-10k where lenskart costs 2-4k
Titan is about quality, Lenskart is about fast use, Different demography so I mean Ratan won't care about it, and if they open one for a different niche yes, they can easily change the market

Really hate when a glasses that made at Rs 20-50 are sold at Rs3000-10000. There is no head & tail on pricing and it's a huge burden for everyone. Due to the massive margins available ... every chashmawaala also sells basic glasses at Rs1000.
U can get a basic smartphone at Rs 5000 these days. Do people really feel a piece of plastic is equally or more valuable than a smartphone which has millions of chips & can do every possible thing u can imagine ?
My correction power is around -6 both eyes. Some local chashmewala told price of lenses thin cut 2000 and lenskart gave it for 1500 😂

If you go to store to lenskart 2 years ago . They used to sell 70% expensive lense and 30 % cheaper ones which are almost equivalent to next dore chashmawala . So these cheaper lenses are getting sold hugely . Its smart way to play with physiology of customer. Their most sales come from cheapest one lenses .
We can do it same in your cloth store . Show it is brand only clother store but you sell affordable clothing brand option also . 20% people will come to buy big brands but most sales will come from cheaper brands . It satisifies customer that bought some quality product since they feel they bought it from premier store .😂 try this only any store .try to show off that you are strore of big brands only but when they come inside show them cheap options also 😂

Titan created Lenskart and redefined themselves as “the better brand”.
The quality you get for the money you pay at Titan is far better than the option you don’t have at Lenskart despite the readiness to pay more for a superior quality.
Lenskart has cool looking frames, but not the best lenses. Built quality is also poor and customisations are limited.
I believe both cater to entirely different audience. IMO Lenskart is more of a volume play, a fast fashion eyewear solution and Titan is a professional brand. You can get the best lenses money can buy at Titan if you wish.
The technology and people behind both are also different. You know, if you know.
It was a good video overall & story telling was gripping but it would be better to talk some numbers while talking about these companies.

An optometrist is ideally suited to give the correction for spectacles better than an ophthalmologist..an ophthalmologist is supposed to be doing surgical correction procedures for structural disorders of the eye..

Lenskarts lens quality is really crap. After some time you will see small micro scratches on lenses.

Work on your baground music,make it interesting,may be a bit of variation in tone could bring huge impact

This is MBA Knowledge, Optics is a science. Lenskart is more of MBA and marketing but very poor quality product. Titan Eye is very genuinely about science and offers very good quality lenses which Lenskart can never beat. Lenskart should rename itself as Framekart, their lenses are damn poor quality. You have glorified lenskart and their business model, but forgot that Spectacle lenses of good quality are expensive to make. Lenskart is Cheap quality stuff like the ones sold at fairs.

Lenskart is the worst eyewear brand in India period. Titan is by far the best in customer service and delivery as well as in after sales service. Lenskart is pretty annoying and tries to sell it to you. Their free eye checkup is only a sales pitch, their Vincent Chase brand is the worst of the lot with product quality so bad it keeps on breaking after 6 months. They are good at marketing and branding like naming products like hustlers and whistlers etc etc but in reality their product quality is very cheap and lacks durability.
