    I run a SVL75 and get $90 to $110 per hour, 4 hr min for bucket work. Special attachments you should be at least $150 per hour.

      this i what i was thinking too.. 100 for the loader and 50 for any hydraulic rotary attachments... a 4 in one bucket or 6 way blade i wouldn't do the extra 50... maybe 20 for the blade and noting for the 4 in one if i even get one... i don't really care for em..

    I couldn't decide between the 75-2 & 95-2 to use around the ranch mainly. Ended up going with the 75 mainly because of the DEF fluid and price point. I also purchased a Danuser Intimidator to pull mesquites. I have only had one issue with power and it was digging a 20" diameter tree. It did the job but maybe not as fast as a larger machine would have. The roll up door was also a huge plus. Makes communicating with any helpers I can find easy. Have about 30hrs on machine and still love it.

      I forgot the mention the def. That was one of my biggest points too as i didnt want to have to deal with it buying and filling tank.

    The 95 runs across the ground a little smoother than the 75 and doesn't buck as much when mowing. (extra weight and longer track) We considered a 75 to buy (was renting) then I demoed a 95 and I was impressed. The 95 didn't run as hot mowing like the 75. Both will destroy a yard if you aren't very careful with your turns. Both are great machines.

      I have noticed it does buck a lot with the mower but I figured it was due to the heavy mower. I would like to run a 95 for sure.

    I just bought a 95-2. I got the machine ‘17 with 850hrs,trailer,bucket,dozer blade,and a grapple rake all for $55k. I pushed and graded 6 loads of hard pan for a house trailer pad in 30 minutes. I am in love. This is my first skid steer and the same thing sold me. The door,oh it is high flow with the demo door too. I haven’t used the blade yet but I’ve heard the same thing on the blade that its hard to use. I’ll buy a Kubota again if I ever need another machine. Good video brother good luck.

    There is no profit in charging by the hour. If your going to charge by the hour start a rental company. Most companies by machines because they need for type of projects they provide. Landscaping, masonry, excavating, grading, new lawn etc. . Your not in business to make a kubota payment, your in business to make a profit. If your in this machine 8 hours should be making $ 2000.00 or more a day .

    the minute you walk out of your house to load up for a job your cost of operation starts, loading and transportation costs man power and money and working for free is not an option , these people who whine about pricing can piss off , in my area if i remember correctly its about $300 to rent a skid steer and $150 delivery ONE WAY, so your looking at about $600 to get a machine on site with transportation times included so your lucky to get 6 hours use for the day, but that still doesn't include an operator, these whiners can go spend ass loads of money on their own machine and find out what expensive REALLY IS, hell with em. you dont ever wanna do business with those types of people , by the time you get $100k invested in a truck , trailer , and quality machine its not cheap , stay away from them broke asses who try to beat you down because i guarantee none of them are working for free, and dont forget an easy $200 for decent operator for the day , and thats the low side cost of a good operator

    Your comment about going with a smaller trailer if you get a bigger machine makes no sense. You got a bigger trailer so you feel safe going down the interstate. How safe will 2k more on a trailer that weighs 2k less feel?! You are likely over weight on your 2500 too.

    • @cameronward7137
      @cameronward7137  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      starnet36 it depends on what type of work you are doing mostly and the conditions. Are u always on flat ground around the farm or chicken houses or are you a contractor and in different terrains and on hills and soft ground ? The only way I would want a tire machine is if I was on the farm and wasn’t hauling to a variety of job sites. Or even if I was in an industry where I was in a yard of some sort loading trucks where I’m turning a lot I would probably get solid tires. It really just depends I guess.

    Thanks Cameron. A question. I am planning to rent a SVL-75-2 up north. Plan to do some work on a gently sloping mountain trail that we drive on. It is 8 feet (96") wide. Want to skim off grassy center part of the trail between the tires ruts in the road. Will skim off the top 4 inches by 48 inch wide. It will have some roots and smaller rocks. Do you see any problems with the SVL 75-2 doing the job? Will use a bucket with teeth to cut through any roots and rocks. Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks much.
