I hadn't seen the Boom Loom before, looks quute a nifty loom.
The other Loom you had with you. To weave a Pattern on it you would remove the Heddle Bar . Doing your Caterpillar you can leave it on the Loom.
I have that loom and I agreed that the grooves could do with being a bit deeper.

I just bought the boom loom to get into making tapestries and this was very helpful! Thank you for making it! If you could make more with interesting design ideas on the boom loom I would watch! Could you connect multiple tapestries together into a scarf or blanket? That would be interesting to watch as well.
