I love them but Chris's vocals sound pretty bad on this track. I agree though, they could've been a huge success on radio with tracks like Only The Strong Survive and One More Time. At the end of the day though, stylistically, they were just another nu metal band so a part of me also believes they got all the success they deserved.

Thinking man’s music. Their music pulled me out of some rough spots. Opened me up and really made me look inside myself and back out at the world. Start asking questions. Definitely underrated, although they did get a spit on conan or one of the other talk shows a few years back. So they've likely only increased in fans over time, and rightfully so.
So good to see these guys again. You can tell the video was obviously on low budget, but it’s still good that they made an effort. The song itself soars well.
IDK, they were just another Nu metal/KoRn rip off band lol trust me, they got the respect and $ that they deserved. I did see them live in concert opening for Sevendust, they put on a good concert but Sevendust blew them away.
Flaw, Five Bolt Main, and Chris durig his solo days and my band used to play shows together back in the early 2000s. Whenever Flaw/5BM/Chris came through the DMV area, we would get on the bill. The band was cool and hanging out with Chris was a good time. Glad he beat his demons. This song's got a good groove to it.
One of my favorite bands ever! Literally been rockin this on repeat since it launched. We need more!!! Thank you Flaw for coming out of nowhere with this!!!

When endangered species came out it was a VERY rough time in my life, and hearing Chris EXPRESSING an anger that so closely mirrored my own and somehow being able to do something constructive with feelings so destructive changed my life forever
What a nonsensical take. So many rock bands in history, they all have songs like this. Ozzy, Dio, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, etc. It's also from the covers album.
I became a flaw fan maybe a few years ago. I bought all their albums even the unreleased/demos. This new album (which I know are covers) does not feel like flaw. Flaw always had their style of positive and encouraging messaging. Hearing them sing other people's work doesn't match their style. I actually only bought the re-recording of only the strong and get up again, just to show support. But I'll skip on this album entirely. Though some of the songs on their I do like, it's just not flaw though. It's not bad, but when I listen to flaw, I listen for a reason. I love the message their music gives. I hope they get better and pump out some original songs soon! Good luck to you flaw,.I'm cheering for ya!
Holy shit, Flaw is still putting out music. Saw these guys live with Dope in Iowa in early 2000, got their autographs and hung out. Cool dudes and great music.
Been a Flaw fan since the beginning. And loved the first 2 albums A LOT but I feel quality and creativity have gone way down hill the last 10+years. Local bands make better recordings and that's the hardest part to get past. You guys need to revisit your roots.
Me too bro, i fucking loved TTE and ES...it was NuMetal....now they are trying to stay relevant in an industry that has passed them by.....man i used to have an OG copy of Drama....it was one of my most prized possessions...They need to go back to their roots. you are correct my friend.
I loved FLAW back in the day (2001 to probably 2008). After the release of the last couple of albums, I don't know how I feel about them. I do realize that, besides Chris Volz, none of the original band members are involved in this current line-up. The music quality is nowhere near up to par with Through the Eyes. Whoever the producer and mixers were for that 1st studio album seriously need to be hired back to revive these guys
@@laynescott8370 I think David Bottrill produced/mixed TTE and ES in a major recording studio which requires a big budget and a recording label behind it (both things that I do not think Flaw have at the moment). Nonetheless I agree with you, the sound quality of this album is really bad!

If I may add some constructive criticism...not sure if for band or label/producer, whatever Love Flaw and all of Volz' work. Something that I think takes away from this song rather than add to it is the layered scream vocals behind the clean vocals through the chorus. Volz' has an amazingly melodic voice and a great scream. Sometimes they just have to be kept separate.
I have to say I’ve been a big flaw fan for a long time, since the very first album. When their last album came out I really liked it, I felt bad that a couple of the songs were stolen by the guitarist because he obviously didn’t know how to write original stuff. I felt bad because it made it look like the whole band was plagiarizing when it was really one person who then got kicked out of the band afterwards. I really dug that record And the one before it. I’ve been waiting all this time for them to release a brand new record with brand new songs on it to redeem themselves, we kept hearing there was going to be new music coming, and now it turns out they’re just releasing an album full of covers. Not only does this disappoint me, but two of the songs on the album are old flaw songs that have been played to death. Chris Volz is one of my favorite singers in metal over the last 20 years, and he is awesome. I don’t know what’s going on with him and why they’re not releasing new music, but I hope that this is just something that I hold us over while they’re finishing up working on a brand new record, because I for the life of me don’t understand why they would release a covers album instead of a brand new album of original music after the way things went down with their last album. The only thing that makes me concerned, is their biggest hit the playoff the last record which is “conquer this climb “, is this song that they bought from somebody. All the guitar and everything was purchased. So it’s leading me to wonder do they just not have the ability to write original music anymore? Have they run out of ideas? I’m really confused, because it seemed like these guys made a comeback and they were alive and kicking and now here we are listening to this, Which is honestly just OK. I really have a lot of faith in this band, and I hope they make a resurgence and get some new original music that kicks ass again. But as a big fan, I’m generally just disappointed.
