I killed the first Guardian on the great plateu using a bow and hiding behind a wall. I was never really scared of them, they feel frustrating to fight instead of challenging. A powerful laser, super fast movement, high HP, they're just tanks. They don't dodge and have nothing to parry, the only real counter is to deflect their beam. They're just an uninteresting enemy to face
That's one HECK of an aggro range for something that I don't think I want to ever catch up to me. If what you say were real-- I WOULD RUN. Over land, over sea, and over my own mental shortcomings. That is how far I would go to get away from it

Guardians are piss easy to beat, but imagine if you couldn't -parry the laser beam - use Daruk Protection and get an automatic parry -use Urbosa Fury, well because its Urbosa's Fury -and if the guardian didn't get stunned for a year if you cut its legs If you remove all of this, I think it would be an insane mini boss worthy of his theme
Yeah, the only way to stun it would be to hit its eye, and also maybe it could move around a lot more to avoid your arrow shots as it charges its laser, or maybe the guardian could even get a second phase at 700 HP that makes it much more deadly!
Ok but here me out. Keep the stun on legs but make thr stun less and if you break all legs it instantly shoots a shot at link that doesn't miss. Maybe keep parrying for the laser beam but make it weaker so instead of a 3 shot it's like a 10-15 shot or something.
I wish those puny Zonai constructs weren't that tiny. I haven't played BOTW yet, but i could already tell the guardians were more fun to kill than constructs.

@@AkuLunical Do the Trials even have enough inventory lifetime damage total to kill a Lynel? (By that I mean, strength times durability for each weapon, then the sum of all you can carry.) Because unlike other enemies, I'm pretty certain Lynels will always entirely avoid bomb damage, so you can't resort to bombs when you're out of weapons.

Try doing that as well, you'll realize that they're not all that gone after all. (And if you don't feel like replaying the exact same game again, there's always Relics and Second Wind and stuff.)

Absolutely not. You run towards it (so it's within targeting reach) and get out your shield. Then you sit there in gamer stance, holding ZL and resting your right thumb on the A button... until you start cussing at the Chuchu that hit you from behind right before you would've had to parry.
