or just stasis it in place, imagine if after doing that a few times some of them would start detaching their limbs on purpose so when you hit them with stasis the limbs autonomously lunge at you

There was a scrapped design of a much larger, fortress like Guardian with many cannons, probably intended as a mini boss. If that terror had somehow made it into the final game. . . THIS should have been it's theme.
Honestly speaking, I don't have the game yet, but I'm gonna try to get some extra money together to get it; for a long time, I've avoided single-player games in favor of Melee/Smash 4/Risk of Rain, but my goodness, it looks like a lot of fun. This was actually a lot of fun to make, despite being a little on the repetitive side. I wanted to do some craziness like the violin in the original, but I was at 7.3GB out of 7.7GB of RAM, so I just couldn't make it work; instead, I just tried to explore a little with sound design and see where that took me. I'd like to make it a bit more razor's-edge and powerful, but I feel pretty satisfied. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Oh, I've listened to all of it, but I was actually referring more so to my theme being kinda repetitive, since there was quite a bit more I wanted to implement, but I still tried to change it up as much as I could. And I'm glad you like it! I'm really looking forward to getting the game; it's been waaaay too long since I've played a single-player game that I've felt I could devote a lot of time to and feel amply rewarded. It also helps that I've been wanting to play another Zelda game, and this one looks to be pretty intricate.

I'm imagining a guardian scout, except it is the same size as a regular guardian, attacking you with melee up close and shooting lasers at the same time.
What if it had laser eyes the came out the side of its head that looked like the guardian turrets, and 16 legs, some of which could grab you and slam against stuff and throw you around. Also it could have mini sentries that came out of its head like with the ones with the goron divine beast, and could also shoot the mini lasers at you!! Also it needs to be HELLA big. Like calamity ganon big.

Combining advanced computer and robotic technology with sophisticated magic, they were able to take Ganon by surprise. Generations later with the King taking the ancient prophacy seriously, the old guardians were dug up and got to function again. The Kingdom of Hyrule thought they could use this old technology to seal Ganon away once more. They were wrong. With a few hundred lines of code and a bit of dark magic, Ganon was able to hijack these automated machines and turn them against the entire Kingdom. All of Central Hyrule was completely destroyed, the kingdom left in ruins. There were no survivors except a few people who managed to make it out of the region in time. Most of the Royal Family exterminated. Only Zelda remained. Her last hope was placed in regenerative stasis at the Shrine of Resurrection.
Hi! I saw that one. The guardian video. At first I didn’t think the Hylian shield thing was real, but I guess it was. It has 800 durability. Mine has 119 defense so I’m duplicating it forever
/screams I didn't notice this earlier because I've been playing BotW in every free second I have, but dang, this is amazing! It's so intense and fitting of the guardians. It almost feels like it could really belong in the game, but at the same time it's got your unique style woven in and I love it. It's more... 'dreadful' than the in-game version, if that makes any sense? It gives off so much more of a tense feeling. You should seriously get BotW. It's so much fun. I went into it absolutely 100% blind and it was overwhelming.
Someone here was kind enough to buy the song and donate $59 extra so I could get it; it's been absolutely fantastic and it's one of very few things that genuinely makes me happy and excited. It's just nice to have something to look forward to, and I feel this is going to help the rest of my life, in turn. I can't tell you how long it's been since I've played a single-player game.

Seriously the instrumentation and all the sounds you used in this work perfect for this strange composition. But I love how the original had a "on the edge of your seat" feel to it and I say you captured that feeling perfectly! These robotic turds who can't be destroyed so easily in the early game are very scary and you nailed that feeling of dread I have when I see them. Always happy to see you post new stuff, Radiarc.
this makes me think of a guardian buried in the ground who just rises up and is actually 5 times bigger than other guardians and it just starts chasing you
The guardian rising from the depths of hyrule stares link down. It opens hatches on its side hundreds if not millions of these menaces crawl from within it and attack without mercy or pause link simply just can’t fight all of them as the blood moon rises over them they are filled with malice becoming infinitely more terrifying and powerful making them shoot rapid fire guardian beams and refusing to let up the attack

Everything i can imagine is a guardian furiously running towards Link, bumping into every tree or rock, and just pointing Link with his laser. Link shoots around 3 ancient arrows but this monster is still alive and barely damaged. Link gets down his horse and fast, he cuts off a guardian's leg. He jumps on the body of his nightmare and puts the Master Sword in its eye. The guardian goes back and forth, panicking in robot, not knowing where to go. Link repeatedly stabs the guardian in the eye until it finally shows no signs of life. This is what I imagined during the video was playing lol
I like to think that the guardian comes back as link is going away and the guardian being an even more advanced shiekah tank this time regenerating health being able to jump at link and splits its eyes into 4 eyes
wow, this remix is one of the best remix (all games soundtrack) i ever heard finaly a remix that actualy make guardians menacing, also, the less louder part before the end could very well fit when the guardian lost you but searching for you too, then when he sees you again, the music continue or, the music of the region start playing if he stop searching
The new boss guardian. Called the Apex Guardian, found in a special cave guarded by guardian turrets. Once entered, a shielah pedestal will rise from the ground in front of a shielah elevator. Once the pedestal is activated, the elevator will take you to the boss battle.
This sounds like it could be a boss fight. Or better yet, maybe something like a mechanical spider boss/horde or something! This is probably the best guardian theme remix I found on TH-cam!

This makes we wonder: Imagine if the blood moon brought about one lone guardian in Botw or TOTK. One so big and damn powerful it functions as the wrath of the Calamity or the extension of the demon king. The rise of the blood moon means it will chase you no matter where you are for a solid night, unleashing Blight-level blasts at you that one shot you if it makes contact. You'd have to be a master at parrying to take it out in 3 shots. Otherwise, run for your damn life. It doesn't just use blasts either. It's smart enough to strike with its appendages and shoot smaller blasts and prepare to charge the bigger one. Towers, shrines, and the environment won't save you from its pursuit. That would easily turn the game into a horror game in one go XD
I remember the first time I encountered one of these. I had just been in Kakariko Village and was making my way towards the zora kingdom. I didn't even notice it until a laser pointed at me, and I only escaped because I hid under a bridge and waited for it to get bored and leave. It was fun coming back and killing it 15 hrs of gameplay later, lol.
7 years later and this remix still SLAPS. Still get goosebumps, remembering how deadly Relics of the Past Guardians were 🤣 this remix is still so fire, giving off the "bitch you better run" vibes we all had when we faced our first guardian. Love you Radiarc!

You turn around and see an *entire army* of guardians looking straight at you...and just as you're about to be overwhelmed, just before the laser that would kill you strikes...the Divine Beasts have fired again in unison, destroy them all an instant before your death, and incapacitate Ganon just long enough for Zelda to free herself and seal him away.
First time playing this game, my heart pounded Everytime I heard this theme start up. I never knew you could just chop their legs off until I was close to finishing the game.
We didn't get to see, only read about how the guardians destroyed Hyrule once they were possessed by Ganon. It must have been a nightmare to see the rising glow from then horizon of tens of thousands of guardian eyes rushing toward you, hearing the tremor and rumbling as hundred of thousands of metal legs struck the ground in a fierce and unabated pursuit of Zelda and anyone living. The laser beams filling the air, explosions, fire and smoke all around. It must have felt like the end of the world to anyone that lived through it, few were able to tell the tale.

Pine-O-Matic the guardian scout can also fly and has two extra heads: the guardian hydra, press A then X repeatedly until you win

There are so many remixes of the guardian theme and I can't say I hate any of them but I'd say this one is the best I've encountered.
Seriously the instrumentation and all the sounds you used in this work perfect for this strange composition. But I love how the original had a "on the edge of your seat" feel to it and I say you captured that feeling perfectly! These robotic turds who can't be destroyed so easily in the early game are very scary and you nailed that feeling of dread I have when I see them. Always happy to see you post new stuff, Radiarc.

this makes me think of a guardian buried in the ground who just rises up and is actually 5 times bigger than other guardians and it just starts chasing you
the bigger the giant, the harder it falls
The guardian rising from the depths of hyrule stares link down. It opens hatches on its side hundreds if not millions of these menaces crawl from within it and attack without mercy or pause link simply just can’t fight all of them as the blood moon rises over them they are filled with malice becoming infinitely more terrifying and powerful making them shoot rapid fire guardian beams and refusing to let up the attack

Everything i can imagine is a guardian furiously running towards Link, bumping into every tree or rock, and just pointing Link with his laser.
Link shoots around 3 ancient arrows but this monster is still alive and barely damaged. Link gets down his horse and fast, he cuts off a guardian's leg. He jumps on the body of his nightmare and puts the Master Sword in its eye. The guardian goes back and forth, panicking in robot, not knowing where to go. Link repeatedly stabs the guardian in the eye until it finally shows no signs of life.

I like to think that the guardian comes back as link is going away and the guardian being an even more advanced shiekah tank this time regenerating health being able to jump at link and splits its eyes into 4 eyes

finaly a remix that actualy make guardians menacing, also, the less louder part before the end could very well fit when the guardian lost you but searching for you too, then when he sees you again, the music continue or, the music of the region start playing if he stop searching

The new boss guardian.
Called the Apex Guardian, found in a special cave guarded by guardian turrets. Once entered, a shielah pedestal will rise from the ground in front of a shielah elevator. Once the pedestal is activated, the elevator will take you to the boss battle.
this sound like what you would hear when you hear "I have lost faith in humanity" in the wind and the ground starts shaking...

I really love the underlying SFX on display here. Reminds me of a charging train, which helps encapsulate the speed and power behind a Guardian.
This makes we wonder:
Imagine if the blood moon brought about one lone guardian in Botw or TOTK. One so big and damn powerful it functions as the wrath of the Calamity or the extension of the demon king. The rise of the blood moon means it will chase you no matter where you are for a solid night, unleashing Blight-level blasts at you that one shot you if it makes contact. You'd have to be a master at parrying to take it out in 3 shots. Otherwise, run for your damn life. It doesn't just use blasts either. It's smart enough to strike with its appendages and shoot smaller blasts and prepare to charge the bigger one. Towers, shrines, and the environment won't save you from its pursuit. That would easily turn the game into a horror game in one go XD

I remember the first time I encountered one of these. I had just been in Kakariko Village and was making my way towards the zora kingdom. I didn't even notice it until a laser pointed at me, and I only escaped because I hid under a bridge and waited for it to get bored and leave.
It was fun coming back and killing it 15 hrs of gameplay later, lol.
This would be a guardian world boss's theme and no one can convince me otherwise.
7 years later and this remix still SLAPS. Still get goosebumps, remembering how deadly Relics of the Past Guardians were 🤣 this remix is still so fire, giving off the "bitch you better run" vibes we all had when we faced our first guardian. Love you Radiarc!

I hecking love this remix so much, I truly believe this could be in Botw 2. It really captures the feel of the Guardians, even more than the official one, and the one in AoC. You did an absolutely amazing job, and I mean it.

You turn around and see an *entire army* of guardians looking straight at you...and just as you're about to be overwhelmed, just before the laser that would kill you strikes...the Divine Beasts have fired again in unison, destroy them all an instant before your death, and incapacitate Ganon just long enough for Zelda to free herself and seal him away.
I remember my first Gaurdian Stalker encounter... "It has legs. IT HAS LEGS!!"
First time playing this game, my heart pounded Everytime I heard this theme start up. I never knew you could just chop their legs off until I was close to finishing the game.

We didn't get to see, only read about how the guardians destroyed Hyrule once they were possessed by Ganon. It must have been a nightmare to see the rising glow from then horizon of tens of thousands of guardian eyes rushing toward you, hearing the tremor and rumbling as hundred of thousands of metal legs struck the ground in a fierce and unabated pursuit of Zelda and anyone living. The laser beams filling the air, explosions, fire and smoke all around.
It must have felt like the end of the world to anyone that lived through it, few were able to tell the tale.
