Mambou arrived at Tchimpounga emaciated, malnourished and with no strength to move. Thanks to the care of the staff at Tchimpounga, healthy Mambou now plays for hours with his friends.

The fact that some chimpanzees may become aggressive when they mature, doesn't mean we shouldn't help them , and leave them to die..
Anyone who thinks that way is a heartless sick person.
Btw remember that these cases you're talking about is the cost of taking chimps out of their natural habitat and putting them in cages..
Also remember that we hurt them more than they did hurt us..
We Destroy their natural habitat, we take them away from their mothers(that we kill) as babies.. we use them in laboratories with no mercy.. so that's what we deserve at the end i think..

We should worry about making sure every human has food in their belly and a warm place to rest their heads at night before people start throwing out their hard earned money a center that uses the funds to " keep the lights on", provide JG with a paycheck & some employees, the list goes on...,etc....

You are all so amazing for helping and taking the best of care to the amazing animals in which we share 98% of our dna with its so heartbreaking to see what they had to endure before they were rescued and i as a human being am so ashamed to know that they suffered and endured pain was caused by human beings but it just gos to show who the real animals are after all the pain human beings inflict on other human beings and innocent animals it makes me so ashamed to be a human being myself but seeing all the special care you give them and knowing that they are safe because of you gives me hope that maybe one day there will be more human beings who will out weigh the ones that dont know how to be human at all these chimps are smarter and more intelligent then most of the humans on this planet and they were here before people and we need to protect them understand them and most of all give them respect that they deserve including every animal on this earth love you guys for all the amazing things you do for these beauitful chimps
I wish they would pass a law that if a human being inflicted any kind of injury or pain or kidnapped a baby chimp that they would serve life in prison just as they do a police dog we owe our lives to these chimps especially the ones who have suffered in labs all their lives for the sake of humans and any one who violates them or harms them in any way should serve life in prison that should be the law any animal who helps humans should be protected by law not just police dogs

Once while on break at work.few of us outside ,bought carton orange juice.stray pup came by.opened up carton gave it it to pup.on ground where i put carton was a quarter.what i had paid for orange juice.
