Best piece of advice on staying safe always: practice common sense! Of course, lock your car and house doors and do all the other common sense things and most likely, you will be fine!
Hi Tiff! I am from LA California, been here pretty much my whole life. My bf and I are truly considering moving to TN and buy our first home/settle down there. We want a change in politics, scenery, and way of life and of course music! We live in Downtown LA and are sick of how the city has handled the homeless issue and we cannot walk around duing evening/night. I am a bilingual latina and am completing my degree in Music Industry/Education (I am a cellist, and my bf is a guitar teacher). I am worried that the housing market will not be as good 3-4 years from now. Does TN have 1st time home buyers credits or some incentives? Do you know anything about the Nashville Symphony? Will I be a bigger asset to business knowing two languages and bring more diversity to the work place? Are there areas in TN that you feel are segregated or not as open minded ? I would prefer a yard, 3-4 bedrooms not too close in proximity.
