A huge THANK YOU to Get Up and Go Kayaking for hosting us on this adventure at Rock Springs Run. We had an amazing tour with Jeremy, and if you’re ready to book your tour, I couldn’t recommend them more! You can find their website here: getupandgokayaking.com/
Chrissa, congrats to you & Noah achieving a chapter in what you enjoy. After 40K subs, each completed step accelerates the in-sight Silver Play Button plaque. Glad I was a part of the journey.
Thank you so much Phil!! 💛💛💛 We cannot believe we’re at 40k!! 🤯 You have been a major part of our journey, and we couldn’t be more appreciative! Thank you for all of the kind words of encouragement, and your support all this time. It means the world to us! 🤗
Rock Springs, Kelly Park, Wekiwa Springs State Park... we are blessed with nature's beauty & abundance of spring water. Snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and of course sparkling waters. Year-round temperate climate except for an occasional hurricane but then it's tropical here! Dang, it's starting to read like an Ad. It's all around home base. Great visual presentation guys, thumbs up.
Hi Phil!! I couldn’t agree more! I always think of how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place…so much to see and do…so many incredible hidden gems and paradises! Every time I think I’ve discovered most of them in Central Florida someone mentions another one I’ve never heard of and now I have to add that to the list! 😁 So many beautiful places right in our backyard!
Never have kayaked but after watching your videos I might get the nerve to try. Keeping the boat straight would be challenging. Looks so beautiful & relaxing and a good workout. Smart going early. Love the clear kayak. Your guide was awesome
I found your channel by happenstance a while back, and I am so glad I did. I love your videos. They’re so informative. You put out the most relaxing and enjoyable content!
This was absolutely beautiful and so calming (I feel like I say this all the time, but it's true lol)! I would never have developed such an appreciation for Springs or even known about them without your videos. Thank you so much for sharing and highlighting these hidden gems! I feel like this may be a nice introduction to kayaking; doesn't seem as crowded (lol I feel like I would be even more nervous with a big group because I would be so worried about being the one that holds everyone up...there's a huge possibility that I would get stuck or crash lol).
I think this would the the perfect kayaking run for you to start on. There are some turns, but I think you’ll be able to manage! It’s definitely a good one to get you addicted to kayaking! 😆
This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Absolutely stunning ! I’m from Virginia so I’m jealous lol we don’t have anything here to compare to Florida
How exciting!! You’ll be here before you know it! 😁 I moved here a little over a decade ago, and never looked back! Best decision I ever made. I can’t wait to hear all about your adventures! Do you know what adventure you’ll do first?
@@ChrissaTravels where did you move from? We are coming from Oregon but @incognitomouse was a cast member at Disney World before he moved to Oregon with me. He’s going back to Disney and we’re very excited to start life together in Florida. Gosh so many adventures on our list- most of them we got from your channel! Kennedy Space Center will probably be first! It’s been on my bucket list from when I was a kid!
@@ladyb83 Aw, that’s awesome!! I’m so happy you could find so many adventures through my videos. That means the world to me! 🥰 I moved down from DC back in 2010. I was sick of digging myself out of the snow, and came down seeking more sun! Noah is a former Disney Cast member, too! He was a monorail pilot when he first moved down. That’s awesome that @incognitomouse is going to go back to Disney! Hopefully, we’ll see him around! 😁 Kennedy Space Center is the perfect choice as your first adventure! It is definitely one of my favorite places. I would have chose that too. You’ll have to make sure to schedule your visit during a rocket launch date. You can watch the launch right from KSC grounds, and it’s always such an incredible experience to be that close! You won’t regret it!
@@ChrissaTravels sounds amazing and the kids will love it too! Incognito Mouse is a bus driver- picks up guests from the resorts and takes them to the parks and back. He loves it. He’s very happy to be coming back! We hope to see you around!
@@ladyb83 welcome aboard! Lots to see & do here in Florida. Living expenses are not too bad though they are climbing & Florida does not have an individual income tax. If I could recommend a trip, take a car trip to Keywest on the A1A. Just the journey down to the Keys is half the fun. Again welcome. P. S. Florida has great cruise ports. We usually use Port Canaveral so far it's less crowded(limited with Carriers) vs Fort Lauderdale. Disney Cruises is at Port Canaveral.
I completely understand! I rarely see gators on this run, though. I’ve done it several times, and have yet to come across one while in the Emerald Cut. You’d have to go down the shuttle run to see gators. But, they typically swim away when they see you coming.
OT: Chrissa I put a post & link on the community tab concerning the latest news on Jasper. You probably traveled on some of those roads while through Jasper/Banff when you were both in Canada.
Nope! You don’t have to book a tour. You can launch from King’s Landing! You may want to check the King’s Landing website to see if they require a reservation for personal kayaks.
Hi there! Unfortunately, they have is roped off, and further down, they have a tubing bridge that goes across the river. They don’t let kayakers in to Kelly Park.
Those clear bathtub kasyaks suckfrom a comfort and performance level - why the guide opt for a paddle board. Those cheap kayaks are a gimmick - they force you to share a tandem to lower their equipment cost and make the most money.
I was the tour guide! That was actually the first time in 4 years I had ever taken anything besides the clear kayak, and my first time on a paddle board! Haha I really enjoy the clear kayaks, they are a lot of fun in the clear water!

THIS IS AWESOME - thanks so much for adventuring with us Chrissa!

Good morning, ♥♥♥♥♥♥You made a nice video,
Thank you so much!!
I call this location "bumper kayaks". It is a nice run and we do enjoy it, but when the run is packed it can be difficult.
If I wasn’t terrified of gators I would love to do that. It looks beautiful.

I've done this run multiple times and I haven't seen one yet.
Nice
Thank you!! ☺️🫶🏽
How busy is Kelly Park’s float section during Easter time in April? Thanks for your thoroughly informative ❤ videos!
Thank you so much! We haven't been to Kelly Park during Easter, but I would expect it to be pretty busy! Unless it's chilly that weekend...

Oooo!! I’ll take a look now!!
Always wear a ife jacket ppl.
Do you have to book a tour to kayak the river? Can I bring my own kayak?
Nope! You don’t have to book a tour. You can launch from King’s Landing! You may want to check the King’s Landing website to see if they require a reservation for personal kayaks.
Thank you ma’am!
So you cant cross into kelly park or yall decided not to?
