    If you want big kings go to the Kanektok River - I fished 6 days through Deneki and hooked up to 40LB++ fish every day. Some landed and some not, all fly fishing.

    The fish are not as big? Damn.... Here at the South Thompson ( offshoot of the fraser river) .... You rarely catch anything over 15lbs. Ive caught around 20 of them and the biggest so far was 18lb and was a hatchery king

    The first guy looks like he cut the line off the hook, but he left the hook in the salmon's mouth...

      They don’t want to over stress fish by taking them out of the water. They aren’t eating so it makes more sense to just leave it in and let it rust

      @@ikennaeckrich5332 They will spawn and die before the hook rusts. They only have a month or so to live.

      Yeah often the first pops out and the second re hooks the fish

    Unfortunately Deshka is being closed this year along with many others due to recent declines
