If I'm not mistaken, she's training to be only the fourth Aussie astronaut and the first one in 20+ years. So happy for her and for the progress ASA's making with more Aussies involved in Space exploration.

Just showing this to my toddler daughter.. I wish we hadn't squandered so much time, money and effort on pointless things and the idea of an Australian astronaut could have been a reality already. But I guess all those stadiums to chase balls back and forth or wars being waged or gambling addiction machines took up too much money and effort..

The more they carry on with this kind of thing the more division and so called misogyny they create.

She passed all stages of astronaut selection, which is quite competitive.
I would like to see you going through at least 1st stage.

@@sjmrdlhdlrelative to the other applicants who applied it’s funny that you think in this day and age that meritocracy had anything to do with this choice. Do you think the governments going to pass up an opportunity to put a woman as the poster child for their Space Agency?

How many degrees do you have there mate? Probably none I'd wager. If you watched the video, you'd have heard she has more to her name than you have grade A results in your life I'd reckon. And not trivial ones either. And then there's her career so far which, compared to yours I would also wager, is seriously impressive. Pull your head in. Toxic grubs like you are a waste of oxygen.
