I put a heart on all my pinned comments. Not on every comment I write myself. There is no skimmer on this tank, I don’t want to mislead people so I add that to the title. Also since people search for tanks without a skimmer.
Such a pleasure to watch your video, the videography and music choice combined are just too good. Whenever I watch other people's nano I always feel like my nano sucks lol
One of the best set ups iv ever seen. And your editing is impeccable. You are really able to see every angle of the tank which I appreciate. Definitely gained a new sub and thumbs up
True, the chances of getting poison sickness are nihil if you watch your hands right after touching them and don't touch them if you have any open wounds on your hands, wrists etc.
6 line wrasse, mandarin goby & spotted mandarin goby were my 3 absolute favorites, packed with ultimate color. Best part about them is they don’t hide. 🥰 BEAUTIFUL SET UP!!!
Beautiful video - not sure it someone has said this already but the things where you say "pest" are rust flat worms - in small amounts like that they're harmless but can reach plague proportions where they choke out coral - their population seems to correlate with nutrient levels so as long as you keep up on water changes you sjould be good!
I don't like salt water aquariums. Always thought they were mundane. I love foo the flowerhorns work and now you too have incorporated this peaceful style of filming. Very artistic and informative. Keep up the good work! Not easy to film and clean the tank at the same time! With this relaxing style of videography, I might just start watching salt water aquarium videos. PLEASE FILM MORE FOR US TO SEE!!
That's what I thought too, but once I got into reefing I lost most interest in freshwater tanks haha. Thanks for watching, I'm glad you like it! I hope I changed your opinion on saltwater aquariums a bit. ;-)
Trimmas, eviotas, small blennies (acanthblemaria for example), gobiodon are perfect. Peaceful and diminutive. But feeding the fish will dirty the pico reef. (Hang on filter?) Great job. Beautiful tank and amazing video. Perfect music choice.
Looks like a great home for a Mandarin, once copepods are established it would keep your feeding low and your levels easier to keep stable. Copepods would feed lucky corals too
With your lights I think 3 cardinals would look good(keep it simple-easy hardy fish) and it would balance out your water lvls making maintenance a lot easier
Where did you get this tank? I’m interested in going from a 20 gallon to a 30 gallon. But I’m having a hard time finding a clear tank that is not a cube. I already have a 37 gallon capacity aquarium stand that is rectangular.
I would imagine it's managing nutrient control. I haven't run a skimmer on my tank in 2 years. Maybe once every 6 months for like a day that's it really. Other then that just a powerhead, heater and lights
What all in one tank is that, been looking for something just like it. Also what powerhead are you using, I’ve been using a hydor koralia nano but I think it’s too much flow. Also how do you deal with evaporation; I almost need to top up every other day! Awesome reef btw
Could you please go through and label your corals?? I want to set up a nano but have no clue which corals to get and would like to know the names of the ones in your tank I see and like.
Very nice tank. Which one is it? Also What have you got in your filtration ? And do you dose your tank? If so what’s your dosing schedule etc? Would be good to know :) thanks
It's a nano tank from Innovative Marine, No filtration really, just the circulation pump and in the back a heater with a pump to pump water up right back in. I do dose this tank, as seen in this video, with two additives once a week.
@@DannysAquariums thats awesome mate. do you not need to dose cal, mag and alk? if not, what salt do you use? sorry for the questions. im just really inspired and tempted to buy one of these tanks and get started again.
Hi, did you do anything about the pest Brown nudibranchs? I have the same ones in my tank and they don’t seem to do any harm, just wondering if/how you combated them? Cheers
Noone manages to find the Erik Satie music played to the correct tempo. Only Floo the flowerhorn. If your wondering, this is too slow. And has added reverb which is naff.
They are products from Aquaforest, check out my other video where I added lots of corals. You can see the packaging with all the information in that video.
Doesn’t look like pests to me. Looks like amphopod’s . I would definitely have a copper and butterfly fish. This fish would help with pods and it also would eats aptasia. But this fish needs room to swim. And that tank looks way to small for that type of fish. So I would get a wrasse, but some wrasse are not coral friendly. So choose wisely. You will never get all the aptasia with chemicals, better or faster thena fish can effectively

@Stephen Dobs Oh man he's done a nice video - lots of effort editing and he's given himself a like he totally deserves - and a heart ;)

You add shriemp
Hmm smells like Foo the flowerhorn over here
For a sec I thought it was haha

Foo The Flowerhorn's saltwater channel
I love the simplicity of this tank! If the Aiptasia-X didn't kill it that Mike Tyson jab did! Good work.
Love your tank, corals are looking flufy and Healty

Thank YOU so much! I really appreciate the kind words Austin!
Agree siiiick video skills
i can' t believe a nano reef tank could be so breathtaking
Aw thank you so much!
Man, these shots are truly amazing. I really enjoyed the video.
My suggestion is for you to use gloves when touching the Zoas. They’re only poisonous when you cut them but hey! Lets be on the safe side yea.
True, the chances of getting poison sickness are nihil if you watch your hands right after touching them and don't touch them if you have any open wounds on your hands, wrists etc.
Better safe than sorry for sure!!

Love the videos on this tank! What vitamins and aminos are you dosing? I’m interested in doing this on my 10 gallon nano as well.
I love nano reef tanks... Very good start! Keep up the good work...
Love the videos and background music that goes along it! Very smoothing and relaxing, beautiful tank as well :)
Glad you enjoyed! Thanks!
Great channel! Love the music and editing. Your reef looks great, and gives us a real confidence boost for our own nano reef build. Cheers.
Thank YOU! Good luck building your reef tank!

Great job. Beautiful tank and amazing video. Perfect music choice.
Too many questions from too many people… this tank deserves a walk through
Lights
Dose/ food schedule
Type of salt used are just few to list
Beautiful tank!
this dude kidnapped foo the flowerhorn
The best comment I've seen today LOL!
Cool set up, I like how you edited the music with the visual. Great job. Love the puple torch.
Thank you very much!
Looks like a great home for a Mandarin, once copepods are established it would keep your feeding low and your levels easier to keep stable. Copepods would feed lucky corals too
don't think a mandarin would work. the tank is too small. it will eat all the copepods and they won't be able to reestablish
Thanks for the suggestion, I have an animal (or animals 😜) in mind to keep in this tank. Stay tuned!
This is so pretty and full of life 💕
Все сделал понятно! Для начинающих риферов !! молодец.
A purple firefish would look amazing!
Love your video! What kind of camera did you use to film this?
Thank you so much, I use my iPhone 8 Plus for my videos!
I love this nature👍👍
I would add a six line wrasse and let it at that. Maybe a cleaner shrimp as a second addition.
Six line wrasses are super cool. Thanks for the suggestion, I appreciate it!
Danny's Aquariums You’re welcome! Really looking forward to the next video and your decision!
I want know some, u have a beautiful nano tank without a skimmer what u do to keep it clean without a skimmer?
MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS POR EL VIDEO ME GUSTA TU ACUARIO
what are those new corals you added to the bottom of the tank, on the sand? you didn't mention them in the video, but they're new! thank you!
Hey nice set-up can you post a link to the light you're using on this tank.
The light I use is the standard light for this tank, Innovative Marine Fusion Nuvo 10.
It's the Skyye I beleive. I'll sell you money super cheap haha
Wonderful tank mate :)
Thanks Rafael!
Great little tank! What aminos are you using.
Reef energy from red sea
I want to ask you
How do you dosing your corals?
I would get a six line wrasse to deal with coral hitchhikers
With your lights I think 3 cardinals would look good(keep it simple-easy hardy fish) and it would balance out your water lvls making maintenance a lot easier
I have a 10g tank, my tank is too small for three cardinals I think.
Amazing! Does it safe without gloves? For you and tank
Thanks for video)
Foo the flower horn I'm a big fan of your channel!
Just kidding, like the style of these and wanting to set up a nano reef soon too
Haha thanks! When you set up your nano reef tank, make sure to keep me updated! Love to hear your experiences keeping a reef tank.

Standard light that comes with this tank from Innovative Marine tank.
Cool 👍👍
How many pounds of live rock did you put in this tank?
Flatworm exit will kill those pests easy and no damage to coral
IS THIS A MC SONG IN THE BACKGROUND
Making something like this is very difficult?? I really wanna try and built my own but idk 😣
I feel everything is gonna die
Do a ton of research before setting up. It’s not that difficult if you know the basics.
How many gallons in your tank?
This is a 10 gallon tank!
Awesome 😎🔥
Thanks!

You can also use reef energy from red Sea. Same exact thing
Can you teach me the impeller snap cleaning trick? 😆
It all seems sooo easy!
I also dream of this tank
how did you get those zoa's off the plug like that?.
Cut the rock under the foot. You want to have sharp pointy scissors and cut the plug rock away and not the actual foot
Use a sharp razor blade to scrape off the base of the zoathid. They usually come off quite easily. Careful not to cut them or cut yourself.
Great looking tank. No advice though
what is the model of your sicce wave maker pump?
It's a SICCE Voyager NANO stream pump.
Danny's Aquariums is that the nano voyager 1000 or 2000 how many gph?
1000, 270 gph.
thank you very much for the replies you got a nice tank with a good flow
hi danny, just got a question is your wavemaker have a humming sound? i bought a nano voyager 2000 i works fine lots of flow just
