I love this so much. I will never forget Ed and his music. I'll listen to him forever. I also really love audiences like this. It's clear they love him and he loves them. And it doesn't matter that they sing along and sometimes sing over him; he loves it when they do that. He'd rather have them sing louder than him instead of not singing with him at all. I love Ed, and this makes me love him even more!
I love the way he silence the crowd unlike other artist who let they're fans scream like crazy. Its so annoying, that's why I love coming to eds shows because it's all about the music.

I don't see why people insist on singing when he is, If they wanted to sing the song he is singing, Stay at home and listen to it through a headset! have you ever been to a concert? do you even know how hard it is not to sing and show them how much you actually like them and how much they mean to you? If i were a singer, i'd let my fans sing as loud as they can because to me, that's how you know they appreciate your music
+Lauralie R I've been to a concert before and that's how an artist know that the audience appreciate his music, by coming to see him live. But if they're gonna singalong, especially, when the artist is in a small setting and singing acoustic like this one, it will be very hard to pick up his voice when you have hundreds of people singing along.

+Do Yoon Lee Most of the other famous singers use autotune to make their voices sound better than they really are. That's why some of them don't sing really good live, and sing amazing on the radio and in their music video. Ed Sheeran on the other hand sings the same live and on the radio/music videos. Ed Sheeran sings amazing either way because he doesn't use autotune.

A big part of singing is relaxing the jaw/neck and letting go of the natural tension in those areas. So I can certainly see how a little alcohol would help with that.

No its standard tuning. Verses and chorus just use a D, D/F#, G, and then to A
He was tuned in Eb that night.

This is not half step down it is same as studio. Version
+bunny nicky no it's not lol. Ed usually plays this song a half step or whole step down live, I've never seen him do it in the original key live. It's actually a smart move on his part tho, he probably had to perform this song more than any other of his and belting that high A in the chorus over and over day after day (which is at the very top of his range btw) would most definitely damage his voice in the long run.

it because he wasn't singing with a microphone so if everyone sang you wouldn't be able to hear him and he would have to strain his voice to be heard. Also its a oft song so it is nice to let him singing it. Another reason is because he was quite far into the night so a lot of people are drunk and are talking which is really disrespectful! x
yeah but he likes it to be quiet like even at his concerts when he sings to slower songs he makes everyone be super quiet but in this case im pretty sure its because theres a lot of people and he doesnt have a microphone so he wants everyone to be able to hear him
