    shouldn't we keep the wafer container a bit open (not closed tightly) to ensure if complete removal of air? Will the air inside the sample container be removed if we closed the container, (in this case the wafer carrier)? I do not make s.c.thin films, but I work on a material that needs to be stored under vacuum to prevent degradation. It is in powder form, I keep it in a glass vial. Should I tightly or losely close the cap to ensure compete removal of air from the sample? Please help out!
