I love her attitude, she has an amazing attitude. All the power to her! She's giving me a good dose of what I really need in my life right now. That determination is infectious. It's true that success is the result of persistence.
I am 51 and I started riding at 49. It is a dream come true. I would love to ride in a barn like that one. Thank you for your motivation. The trainer motivation is so important and I feel fortunate because I have a good trainer.
I agree, having a good trainer makes all the difference! I'm also really fortunate to have an amazing trainer. Good on you for realizing your dream. Sometimes I lament getting into riding so "late" (I'm 30 and started at 28) but really it doesn't matter at all. The point is that we have been able to start doing something we always wanted to do and we're loving it. It's not necessarily a big handicap either - with age comes maturity and experience which are sooo valuable no matter what you're doing. My mum just completed her first uni degree at age 62 a couple of years ago. She hadn't done any studying whatsoever since high school. But because she was set on doing the degree to a high standard, she learned the skills she needed to learn and her maturity and organization skills gave her a huge advantage, and she ended up earning mostly Distinctions and High Distinctions. But most importantly, making the choice to go through uni gave her a sense of confidence like she never had before and it's made such a big and positive difference in her life since then.
I discovered Tash about 1 year ago, but my fascination only really took off 4 or 5 months ago. In that time I've learned so much from the YRS Team. I really want to commend Tash for her phenomenal drive, passion, commitment & level of achievement- in her own riding, her vision, & her business world! I wish I had discovered her earlier, to be able to visit The Institute & to experience all she was offering at that time from her home base! What brilliant facilities! OMG, my dream property, the horses, the tack, the arena etc!!! I loved to hear your story, & see into your world!! Pity I missed that opportunity, but still love to be able to look back! Very inspirational, thankyou for sharing! ❤🐴🐴🐴🙏🙏🙏
What a glorious video. I absolutely adore Tash and her riding philosophy. Such an inspiration. It is on my bucket list to make it to the Institute one day. Just breathtaking horses and people! Love you Tash!
I love your training videos, however this is definitely one of the best videos you have done. Love the way you share some of your journey, whilst also highlighting that hard work, perseverance and positivity is key for any success in life. Also your facility is beautiful, you must be so proud, definitely on my bucket list to ride there one day 😊
I came accross your online lessons a few months ago and it has helped me so much. I think you are absolutley fabulous. I love horses and I have been taking lessons for the past months and your tips helped me so much than any instructor. Recenetly, I was getting discouraged about the whole thing and today I came accross this video which made me rethink. Thank you so much.
Hello from uk Natasha, thank you so much for sharing your lovely home / yard/institute. Your love of horses and passion comes through loud and clear well done to you and your hubby. I wish you were here in the uk hope the guys around you appreciate what they have in you and your facilities. It’s all fab. I don’t own a horse but go to a riding school, learning dressage, there is a lot to remember but like the challenge, time goes so fast when your having fun . Am just 67 years now but I do love to be around the horses and the smell of the animals. I love your you tube videos. Sorry I am going on. Hope you don’t mind. Good luck with everything you do blessings to you and family.Soby.✨🙏✨🥂
Thank you Soby :) Natasha will be in the UK as soon as she is able (she is supposed to be there right now but unfortunately the world had other ideas!)
Fantastic Tash thank you for sharing your fantastic institute. So beautiful. I love your inspirational posters. What a dream, and your hard work and passion has created this
I feel honoured to have met Natasha and her amazing staff. She is inspiring and humble. Her stables and ethics are about achieving your dreams. I have lessons on ABE he is amazing. The amount of "free" content she has provided for riders is excellent I have learnt so much over the past four years. Natasha is real and shares her journey so openly and honestly. Well done FEI for this video. 🤗👍
My inspiration! I suffer from two anxiety disorders and I have transferred this anxiety to my mare, unfortunately we are in NSW but I think I need to join one of your online classes. I also love how you built your dream, hopefully one day I can do the same :)
She is just amazing! Always so happy to help and provide information for all riders! What I love about her is that she doesn’t pretend that she was always super rider or just a talent she always talks about never giving up and we all have been there
Every Sunday morning when I go on my riding lesson I want to get better every time. But every time I get knocked back because I can't do what I'm trying to get out of my lesson and I want to succeed. Tash is wonderful
You are a dedicated passionate person. I admire your perseverance, your love for your horses, your family and your career. You are my 🦸♀️ hero. I hope to be an awesome rider as you. ❤️
I love that these are the the same horses she shows or has shown and that they are Lifers! I have the same in my riding school or at least 2 of my boys the kids show as do I....I struggled feeling guilty or that I was cheating myself about this but it is honestly my economics. They are very nice horses in that I have a Lipizzan and this sport pony dubbed Mr. McFloaty....so nice to see her sharing FEI horses for her clientele!
Great video! Love your place. Have watched your dream grow for 11 years. Have visited Garfield a number of times but last year was the first time to see all the improvements. My dream is to have access to an indoor so rain and slippery surfaces can never affect my training. I wish I lived closer to take more advantage of what you offer at the facilities more often.
Natasha you have an amazing place, lots of inspiration, great incentive to achieve the very best of your abilities. And oh my God the horses! I am in love with the Friesians!! You have not one but three stallions, that’s my dream ❤️ Please live my dream with success, happiness and passion.
I saw a video of you riding Dynamite Hit. Long legs, short reins, punishing the horse by yanking on the bit. Appalling! If you don’t know how to properly control a horse or get the horse to move forward, take some lessons from someone who knows how to teach without cruelty.
Thank you tash, I loved watching your showing around the horses and seeing Abe 😀..my spelling correction lol....one day I want to come to Australia to ride at your centre ❤🐴🌍
Standardbred Adventures I will work at Germany’s foreign affairs office :) I’ll live in many foreign countries and have a 60-80 hrs work week. So your plan isn’t possible for me
MightBeSanna * I told you it’s not possible for me. Having a business is very hard if you move to a different country often, it also creates conflicts of interest and time issues. I can not just stop work here because I feel it’s my duty to prevent wars and protect my fellow Germans in dangerous situations when they are in a foreign country. Please respect this
Haha and here I am in Australia lamenting the lack of access to equestrian stuff that Europe and the UK have 😂 (I actually live fairly close to her, and my instructor, who is also infectiously positive, lives in the same area and is friends with her)
I loved the video, everything is so well-thought out and perfect. The horses in the stables look so happy. Well done! I just signed up for the webinar - is it really free?
This video is so inspirational. Over the last year I’ve realised the art of manifestation and have been manifesting some super cool stuff. Do you have any tips? Do you use a mood board or anything ❤️❤️❤️
Wheres your TH-cam channel, I was subscribed to u for years.. when u started your barn build..I've been searching for the channel, ..I'll keep looking..
Gretchen is currently in the UK while Natasha is stuck in Australia!! She was meant to be riding and competing her in the small tour right now... but unfortunately that's been put on hold! Luckily she is being looked after very well by a good friend over there :)
i can only dream....look high n low for money to buy a horse...😩watching horse videos is mixed emotions but i need to watch to gain knowledge...only best wishes to u... there r other people in this world is just not lucky enough to have their own horse yet...
I am so happy you made it to the official FEI channel! Your videos have helped me so much and your approach can have an amazing impact on the equestrian world ❤️
From what I've gathered from her other videos is the property belongs to her and her husband but I think she made a partnership with an equestrian body in Australia to build the stables an arena.
A stallion has the wow factor. They add more flair to every movement. They are also super strong and muscular which is beneficial in moving up the dressage training scale. It’s also beneficial for breeding purposes to have your stallion getting high percentages in competition. All aspects of such can be passed onto progeny.
She seems like a lovely person, I was subscribed for a while to her channel because she’s so positive and motivating. I’ve unsubscribed a while back now because her riding is just...well, hard to watch.
Hard to watch? In order to become a top race driver, ballet dancer, opera singer or Olympian, one must have melted into an image..in order to be the best, you must look like the best....what did you miss? Glad you're back...because watching is half of the battle to success...
I would love to ride more often than I do (I currently ride twice a month), but my instructor lives on the other side of the city and so the barns she teaches at are all about an hour away. It's sad =(
When you have the most lovely and calm stallions, why do you put a sign '' do not pat me'' on the box then. haha :D My dear flag is hanging in your riding area :D
Because they are stallions. A stallion can be lovely, but you need to know stallions before going and cuddle them. Cuddling a stallion can be a sign a weakness to the stallion.
That are just that... stallions! They are quiet but tend to be more unpredictable for example when a mare goes past... also these guys like to nip and bite - not in a nasty way, just because they are playing and they are stallions!
Because stallions can act differently based on their hormones. Not all stallions are the same but it’s better to stay safe if your not used to handling one. 👌🏼
This is REALLY UGLY riding. Hyperflexing, tale whisping, HUGE muscle under the neck(time 5:05)- because of wrong use, heavy rein, tense horses. Riding should be a light DANCE! This is struggle.

I've been a fan of Natasha's for a while, love seeing these old pictures of her and hearing more about her story as a young rider!
You know your privileged when you learn to ride on an ex grand pre dressage fresian Stalion 😂
I love her attitude, she has an amazing attitude. All the power to her! She's giving me a good dose of what I really need in my life right now. That determination is infectious. It's true that success is the result of persistence.
Gym at the barn is GENIUS! I’ve never seen that before but it’s absolutely perfect! Goals

I want to get grand prix level in dressage but i dont have a lot of money how do you reccomend going about this?
Start from the beginning and NEVER GIVE UP!!
I would highly recommend a working student position. You can learn a lot that way, of riding and of stable care.

Where abouts are you located in Australia cause I really want to learn how to do dressage I’m novice
Love the necessary "cool factor" that was applied to this stable :)
Thank you! We wanted to make it special!
Is your place a boarding facility in addition to your own stable? Do you have outside boarders?
So can I ask how you were able to financially create such a facility? I'd love that too but the secret is how to financially create it!
From what I've gathered from her other videos is the property belongs to her and her husband but I think she made a partnership with an equestrian body in Australia to build the stables an arena.
where is the building located in australia?
So, did she sell the horses when she decided to buy the new horses? Or did she keep them all the whole time?
How did you get to grand Prix level in dressage
You know how to act on your dreams!
Love you Tash :)
Next Video with Steve Guerdat or Kent Farrington please :)
Where are you based? I’m in Perth WA
I am just honestly curious ... why a stallion? What is the draw to have a stallion rather than a mare or gelding ... or than breeding purposes?
A stallion has the wow factor. They add more flair to every movement. They are also super strong and muscular which is beneficial in moving up the dressage training scale. It’s also beneficial for breeding purposes to have your stallion getting high percentages in competition. All aspects of such can be passed onto progeny.

When you have the most lovely and calm stallions, why do you put a sign '' do not pat me'' on the box then. haha :D My dear flag is hanging in your riding area :D
Maybe for little kids or younger riders? Maybe they are not as friendly with new people?
I am a beginner rider who regularly rides Abe and has also ridden Ollie. They ARE the most lovely and calm stallions.
Because they are stallions.
What breed are all of the horses ?
Does anyone know why it's a "no-no" to pat the stallions?
I was wondering the same thing🤔
@@Doryplory Me too! Maybe it's a matter of safety just in case they are temperamental and an accident can happen with passerbys
Because stallions can act differently based on their hormones. Not all stallions are the same but it’s better to stay safe if your not used to handling one. 👌🏼
