I bought the canon pro1000 2 weeks ago. With a sample pack of Moab photo paper. After learning what ICC profiles among and other things. The slickrock metallic Pearl I fell in love with. My first big prints will be with that. I got the printer because I wanted full control.
Help I have the canon pro 6000 and since 2 Hours he does not stop cleaning . I tried to print a photo when he started the cleaning process . The white light is blinking . And the progress bar is by about 80 % , but since two hours no progress . And the printer tell me not to open the cover . Now I read that it could harm the printer if I switch him off . Any advice ? Would be great

I'm a professional artist wanting to print Glicee prints but I'm wondering how to get my work to be digital. I work in 20x24 usually. I don't know if there is a flat bed scanner large enough.

So you've only been a photographer 12 years right? ;-) ;-) When I hear Fine Art photography I have fond memories of my Second semester at Daytona Beach photo school. We studied in depth The Zone System. When you shoot on a 4x5 view camera it takes on a different perspective on things. Have you studied the work of the Darkroom Master Jerry Eulsman? Great stuff.

You would certainly defeat the purpose of owning a Pro-4000! Grab a Canon pro-100 for smaller size printing!!

By far the WORST printer! Purchased one a little over 30 days ago and I have yet to print anything in good quality
