We just have to say it again: you guys are the best. We had so many mishaps trying to get this episode live last night and we were unforgivably late. But you guys didn't complain and you've shown us nothing but love. We love you guys back! BEYOND!
We are SOOOO sorry that this took so long. It's been an insane day, but we are so happy that we have amazing fans like you who are willing to wait for us! We love you guys. Seriously. You guys make this all worth it.
I really have to congratulate the hard work of the guys behind the camera managing to squeeze out a laugh every 20 seconds for entirely no reason whatsoever.
Wow, what a damn good show! The best one yet. The jokes were consistently funny and both interviews were very fascinating. I've watched every episode and liked each one, but I've been REMISS to not have commented on how much I appreciate the effort put into doing this for us. Thank you.
Final Fantasy 6 in the scene where you float down the Lethe river on a raft with Bannon in your party. You could setup the cursor to memory and have it loop and do the same battle over and over. Make sure to have Bannon set to the heal command. Let it sit for a day and you'll be around level 70.
Awesome episode Greg. I don't really understand the 24 dislikes, do you think their lives would be better if the show didn't exist? Or, why do they watch it if they hate it. Something to learn about trolls. Huge effort from you IGN, thank you for making the internet better and pulling gamers closer to each other. Keep on rolling ;)
Wanderers from Ys!!! I remember that epic spot; enemies jumping off the ledge above, into your sword overnight, it was in an underground area I believe... and btw, tape wouldn't hold those buttons - you should know better if you're old school - we used rubber bands on the controller :D
Dammit. When Goldeneye came out and I was 11 years old I came up with the idea for 007 Legends, because Goldeneye had 20 levels and Bond was nearing 20 films, so I thought it would be cool to have a game where each level was the final fight of a Bond movie. Now I see this. I wish I hadn't been so lazy for the past 15 years.
you guys at ign need to get more interview candidates like the guy from ccp who can at least kind of match greg's energy (for lack of a better term). i saw that "don't look for a date at comic-con" joke a mile away. "remember the restraining order" or something like that could work. if you're gonna make a joke towards us in the nerd culture, make an obscure reference so the internet trolls can call you lame/stupid even though they obviously wouldn't get it. love the show!
Hey the posters in the back look cool, to bad we never actually get to see them, and when we do domaines head is blocking it. Can you show us these posters?
FF VI right? on the raft before meeting Ultros for the first time; make sure Banon heals all the time and Edgar autocrossbows all the time.(set the menu config to remember the last used choice [Memory]). Have a turbo controller; tape A down. Raft will go in circles; monsters will die; experience will be gained. I remember watching my bro set it up and figure it out with no interweb...
Greg, you need to put a "directory" of time stamps in the video with the various subjects. I only care to watch a few parts and I don't have time to jump through 26 minutes of video. This would help me a lot and I'd watch the videos more. Thanks!
All of you just bashing Up at Noon and Greg Miller really need to relax and quit taking everything so seriously. I'm not saying you have to like it, don't waste your time writing comments that are pointless or insulting. I'm in the Dust 514 beta and it's good. The free-to-play model is absolutely genius. For every person who plays for free they know they will have twice as many hardcore fans that won't be able to resist paying for things and will end up paying much more than $60 in game.
He only does everything Hulk Hogan, you are talking about Final Fantasy VI as you mentioned that on Podcast Beyond Episode 246 where you, Ryan and Andrew were talking about Rainbow Moon trophies. There was a character named Banon in FFVI (also FFIII originally in the states) that's attack was to heal the party. You would specifically do this on the river area.
I'm a PS3 gamer and I know that because games "need" to be put on consoles with much older hardware, game devs can't make better games for the PC. (BTW the PC gets many games only on PC. Another thing is that games are developed on computers.)
Trick question, USA released it as Final Fantasy III, though it technically was Final Fantasy VI. I hate you fake Hulk Hogan. Now I have to play it again. Also, Great job on Up at Noon, it beats anything G4's got going on these days. Just don't start upping Cheaters/Cops reruns and I'll love you forever.
IGN is the most timely gaming website on the planet. That's why I always read it. That being said, Kotaku and The Escapist are by far the most interesting and well-written gaming journalism sites. Love Up At Noon too!
I've been trying to enjoy the Dust 514, but I really can't- I'll have to wait for it to be done before making a proper decision. I don't feel the player connection to the game yet... I'm expecting, or hoping for big things..
We just have to say it again: you guys are the best. We had so many mishaps trying to get this episode live last night and we were unforgivably late. But you guys didn't complain and you've shown us nothing but love. We love you guys back! BEYOND!

Thanks for watching!
I love this episode!!!! I look forward to this every week thank you for recording it!
Greg, when I visited IGN at noon and this video wasn't up I was pretty freaked out. So glad you got it up, keep up the great work!
I really have to congratulate the hard work of the guys behind the camera managing to squeeze out a laugh every 20 seconds for entirely no reason whatsoever.
When Chuck Norris plays role playing games, he names his character Trent Steen.
Wow, what a damn good show! The best one yet. The jokes were consistently funny and both interviews were very fascinating. I've watched every episode and liked each one, but I've been REMISS to not have commented on how much I appreciate the effort put into doing this for us.
Thank you.
Amazing episode! Love Up At Noon so much! Favourite series on TH-cam!
Pretty good episode, thanks greg! But just to let you know, the shows called up at noon, not up at midnight, it was posted at 11:00 here.
I'm so glad you guys made this show. I can easily say one of my favorite channels.
I love you! ♥♥ Thank you so much for getting us in to the beta.
This show keeps getting better and better, keep it up! :)
New show on START, Greg watches every manly movie he somehow missed out on.
Great Show! congratulations from Chile in South américa. Keep up the good work!
This was a freaking great episode, keep up the great work guys. BEYOND!!!!
This show just keeps getting better and better. Keep it up
The opening segments keep getting funnier and funnier.
Wow, the Dust 514 guy is by far the most articulate, prepared guest they've ever had on here! He sold that game so well!
Final Fantasy 6 in the scene where you float down the Lethe river on a raft with Bannon in your party. You could setup the cursor to memory and have it loop and do the same battle over and over. Make sure to have Bannon set to the heal command. Let it sit for a day and you'll be around level 70.
You have cool posters in the back, will we ever get to actually see them?
Brian and Drucker are without a doubt the best thing about this show.
The jokes are getting better and better. Hope to see more game show bits like last week. I think the comedy button get a show on the Start channel.
Damnit greg, now I gotta stay up late to watch this video I'm going to be crabby in the morning
Trent steen is so good at
video games he once started a combo in mortal kombat that didnt end til mortal kombat.
It's only noon in IGN till the sun rises over Greg's belly.
"The guy who put this in the wrong place" is what my girlfriend calls me when we're out together
Yay finally! I was having a nervous breakdown without Up at Noon
When I saw the new ACIII trailer, all I could think about was Tom Servo's riff in The Touch of Satan.
I remember Colin "Hulk Holgen" talking about this game on BEYOND two episodes back
Yeah.. I do..
Wanderers from Ys!!! I remember that epic spot; enemies jumping off the ledge above, into your sword overnight, it was in an underground area I believe... and btw, tape wouldn't hold those buttons - you should know better if you're old school - we used rubber bands on the controller :D
The 007 movie he was talking about with Denise Richards if anyone is wondering is called "The world is Not Enough".
Greg must have gotten side track eating all those quantum quiznos and forgot to post the video.
Thanks!
Greg you didnt screw up that joke
seeing ubispot and wiiu combined makes me laugh
trent steen so cool he beat 007 legends before bond was even born.
By far one of the BEST episodes. Second to the Die Hard one :) Great job guys, makes Monday's bearable.
Lololol that Trent Steen bit was classic.
must had a mustard theme week
Dammit. Its real laughter. They show the audience in some of the earlier episodes.
The AC3 industry comments bit was genius!!!
Greg couldn't figure out how to open doors, he should have had a velociraptor with him
Japanese SNES game with level grinding was Earthbound. LOVED THAT GAME! I could have played in while sleeping. I occasionally did!
Brian Altano is the Jack of all Trades and Mike Drucker is the Jack of all Information.
you guys at ign need to get more interview candidates like the guy from ccp who can at least kind of match greg's energy (for lack of a better term). i saw that "don't look for a date at comic-con" joke a mile away. Love these shows especially with interviews
Like. Have you stopped doing the extended interviews?
Hey the posters in the back look cool, to bad we never actually get to see them, and when we do domaines head is blocking it. Can you show us these posters?
Keep making these shows Greg.
My history teacher let me write a paper based on assassins creed 2
I was about to really go to sleep until I saw this. Good time
Greg, you need to put a "directory" of time stamps in the video with the various subjects. I only care to watch a few parts and I don't have time to jump through 26 minutes of video. This would help me a lot and I'd watch the videos more. Thanks!
I really want that theme song as a ring tone...Up At Noon's starting/ending theme I mean.
If you've got haters, it means you're doing something right.
These videos are great! I would watch this on television!
The opening trailer was fantastic!
If you guys quit making this show I'll be pissed!!! I love the jokes...even though sometimes really bad, they are always very entertaining.
Could you guys put Up At Noon in video podcast form like the daily fix?
All of you just bashing Up at Noon and Greg Miller really need to relax and quit taking everything so seriously. I'm not saying you have to like it, don't waste your time writing comments that are pointless or insulting.

Do you mean about the renisance or assassins creed 2?
We need more Brian

Loved the Assassins Creed commercial, it was brilliant! so funny! BEYOND!!
Who do you think is funnier: Mike Drucker or Brian Altano?
Where's last weeks extended interview!!!
It's not fake laughs, they actually have a live audience
I relay like this show keep going i can't imagine my week without it
honestly i think the show is getting better and better with time
you've got two types of fans
1. The people who like the content on START
2. The people who provide comic fodder by calling Greg fat
The game was Final Fantasy VI! (I only know this because of Podcast Beyond)
Awesome show Greg! Colin is a great hulk! Keep it up guys!
Any one else just fastforward the Mike Druker bits?
If it's fake laughter then your conclusion would be correct.
About the JRPG, wasn't it FF 3 or 4? Since one of the characters' attack was a heal?
Damn it, I got ticked into watching "Up At Noon - Greg Miller" again!!!!
i cant watch the next vids cause it says "NO RATING". what do i do?
The Leftovers trailer scared the crap outta me!
ha love that intro and greg you need to watch some movies man
Beyond a midnight posting!
This show is amazing and so are you Greg.......It's funny because it's true. Please keep the show going.
@EllboGrease27 Because its not edited live i wanted to see the full finished product.
4:38 Isn't that the title screen smoke from Skyrim?

Awesome episode greg, may god bless you!BEYOND!
12:53 whats that red thing in the bottom of greg's shoe
its a PS3 exclusive but it works with the EVE Online mmo which is on PC and dust is a free to play game on ps3
Greg anyone who would get pissed about anything you said takes themselves entirely to seriously....roast away and keep it coming
how do you get into the 514 beta?
love this show guys. don't ever stop.
Final Fantasy 7 was used to do auto grind
Leaving a comment because greg said to and to support the show
I do usually.
Please do a game show called "I Can't Believe You've Only Seen One James Bond Movie" next week.
I've been trying to enjoy the Dust 514, but I really can't- I'll have to wait for it to be done before making a proper decision. I don't feel the player connection to the game yet... I'm expecting, or hoping for big things..
