  • Haiti: Healthcare System Nears Collapse as Gangs Attack Hospitals | Firstpost America
The healthcare system in Haiti is on the brink of collapse as brutal gangs tighten their grip on the capital city of Port-au-Prince and beyond. The rising violence has forced the closure of several medical institutions and hospitals across the country. Even if a hospital is operating, sometimes medical staff is absent because doctors are forced to turn around if they encounter armed gang members. Criminal gangs are even looting and setting pharmacies on fire, leaving patients with deadly diseases with little to no recourse. Meanwhile, key medical supplies remain stuck at Haiti's largest seaport, where gangs have paralysed operations.

Well first of all attacking the hospitals will definitely contribute toward a collapsing healthcare system.
    Have they thought this through?

Because they’re killing their own people. These are Haitians killing other Haitians for the sake of their “people”. How does that make sense
