Bismillahi Rahmaani Raheem, Here are some key points that I’ve written from the lesson,
    - one of the main cures of sadness is reciting the Quran. Doing so can upgrade your morale, boost your iman and also soften the heart, therefore letting knowledge enter more easily (which is why the majority of lectures start with a recitation of Quran).
    - Sadness is dangerous because it weakens the heart, it affects your determination and it harms that which you set out to accomplish. Sadness can be caused by putting your desires before Allah.
    - Another cure to sadness is tawheed: learning the rights that Allah has over you, to single out Allah in that which is exclusive to Him. Having tawheed opens the door of goodness & happiness.
29:15 - Story of Umar, the young lady and her mother displaying True Tawheed
    - The only source of knowledge that we have of Allah, Al Baseer, Ar Raqeeb, is by his Names & Attributes.
    - When things start going wrong, you should be patient with what Allah, Al Hakeem, has given you. And when excellent things start happening for you, you should credit this to Allah, Al Barr, and be grateful for what he has given you. Therefore, in all situations, you shouldn’t be saddened.
Note: The prophet S.A.W would always seek refuge from sadness in Allah when faced with grief. Furthermore, that which Shaytan loves is the sadness upon the believer.
Alhamdulilah, may Allah send peace and blessings upon you sheikh, and all those who have witnessed the lecture ❤

The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
“Send prayer (salutation) upon me abundantly on the day of Jumu’ah (Friday) & on the night of Jumu’ah (Thursday night) for he who sends prayer upon me one time, Allāh sends prayer upon him 10 times.”
    [صحيح الجامع ١٢٠٩]

السلام عليك ورحمة الله وبركاته ،
I know it’s hard and I can’t imagine how it feels to go through this amount of hardship but that doesn’t exempt you to leave the salat. You can do it sitting, lying and if you can’t even move your body, ask someone to help you, you can’t keep going like that. الله will help you through it

Ya Hamidu Alhamdulillah, Allahumma lakal al hamd, to come to know Allah after a life of being bereft of Allah is the sweetest , most beautiful, most fulfilling and enriching thing, to have lived life in ignorance, and then to live life with Allah uppermost and foremst, is the difference between life and death.

Anti-depressions are not the answer. psychology is not a complete science and psychiatric medicine is trial and error. Exercise, faith, therapy, not using intoxicants, and a wholesome social circle can tackle most cases of depression and anxiety. Yes there are severe cases, but in general most people need to make better lifestyle choices

    • @Olvenomotion
      @Olvenomotion ปีที่แล้ว +3

Keep fighting your own desires and your own sins and the most important thing is to never give up on neither yourself neither the Almighty’s mercy. Quran 29:69 : ‘ As for those who struggle in Our cause, We will surely guide them along Our Way. And Allah is certainly with the good-doers.’

    • @IslamicallySpeaking

You will always sin because it is part of human nature. No one can avoid sinning entirely. It’s inevitable for mankind. You can’t base your happiness on an expectation of never sinning, as you’ll only set yourself up for disappointment. Seek forgiveness and learn from your shortcomings rather than focusing on perfection. Accept that sinning is part of the human experience, and let it be a catalyst for growth.
