Marcus Parrilla That's why it's in percent not in total numbers. So it is fair, that it has less airtime isn't the reason for it only getting 61%. If anything it should be the best because it doesn't have to fill as much time as RAW and so can concentrate the good things in 2 hours instead of having 3 hours and not knowing what to do with them
The tag feud was HUGE down. Non-legal Owens was pinned, Braun, despite being a face & not having any real heat against Owens & Zayn decided to bully them. That was dumb. What was even the point of all this?
Tri Monster Yes, but what was the point of doing all this stupidity, just let them be buried by Braun as usual & make them take a clean pin, not this botch
I would have liked to see Braun and Lashley get into a disagreement, and let Owens and Zayn win because of that. It would have made Owens and Zayn look better as heels, wouldn't hurt the faces and set up a feud between Lashley and Braun.
Brykewl I agree, disagreement between Lashley & Braun would've been much better than what we saw. This tag feud was actually pointless from the beginning. Braun & Lashley had come to help Reigns (only they know why) when Owens, Sami & Jinder wanted to fight Reigns (again, only they know why)
A matchka made in heaven. Please swing me an invite. I will tear up that dance floor like no man has ever teared up a dance floor. For the Son of Goldberg and the True American Hero.
Maz2bi they are so focused on pushing Roman to the moon it's like "let's just put the most over guy on the roster (Braun) and one of the most talented (Lashley) together and see what happens". Ugh I'm right there with you man.
I usually try to be optimistic and upbeat after ppvs but I got nothing this time. They really need to stop putting reigns in main event picture. The fans are gonna shit on it no matter what. This ppv had all sorts of issues besides the main event. It was very generic, had no run ins or interferences, no new fueds, no surprises, no title changes...thank goodness for seth and miz, they better have something epic planned for aj,nakamura, the whole women's division sucks right now, braun should be champ, Lashley and cass are useless, I'm sick of orton and hardy, for the first time I actually feel bad for ko/zayn and no major tag tiltle fueds at the time... i know it's not their first bad ppv ever but man this ppv left me puzzled.
Ricardo Blanco I wouldn't say Bobby Lashley is useless he's just being booked terribly. He's honestly the best current black wrestler in WWE and is the perfect man next to Braun Strowman to get the Universal Championship. Mind I say he was a 4 time World Heavyweight Champion during the Attitude Era.
Ash Ketchum I'm just not feeling Lashley. Yeah he's been booked bad but his in ring work has been sloppy and he's just not connecting with the crowd as a face. I felt like he should've turned on braun, would've been better than burying ko
Rollins gonna break his back with how much carrying he has to do with Vince's terrible booking. Also, prayers up for Alexa that she isn't out for too long.
Rampaiger Queen I agree. I would have given Styles V Nakamura an UP, if it wasn't for the finish that any real fan could see coming 10 minutes before it actually happened. Not good. The only match I gave an UP to was Rollins V Miz.
Other than Rollins vs Miz and Styles vs Nakamura (except the ending) everything was Total Down. Elias segment was entertaining, and refreshing. Edit - Cass vs Bryan gets UP? Seriously? That was really bad match and poor story telling. Cass immediately tapped out. That was real bad. He has a potential to be heel. He was so cocky. WWE should have used it better. AJ Styles vs Nakamura was a really good match. It was intense, All out match. Deserves an UP
A P How is nutcracker vs AJ good, its the worst they had so far its a no DQ match and hardly nothing happened i was hoping for some weapons being used.
A P Cass should've won. What was the point of the match when Bryan hadn't cut even a single promo on Cass & everything Cass was saying about him being big & strong was just buried by him tapping out. Killed all the momentum. & Let Bryan lose, he needn't become the next Cena.
Nakamura needed to win the match. It would have been really good for his carrer and a great change too. Nakamura is a heel, I will really love yo see win a championship. And, Samoa Joe also needed to win the match. Reigns has already lost twice to lesnar within a month in the main event of ppv. Like, who the fuck will ever take that guy seriously now? Joe needed to win to have a momentum going against Styles now.
My first event was at Mania 22, OMG that PPV back then was the shit, edge spearing foley through a flamming table, RVD winning MITB , Rey mysterio winning world title great show. I had to travel from england all the way to Illinois. It was my early birthday gift from my GF parents.
Eklektik I’d give AJ vs Nak an up and a down. The match was building momentum and could have been something great (so that’s an up). But the finish was awful. DOWN. I agree with you on everything else. Normally I don’t care for the “funny” bits, but the Elias concert bit was actually pretty good.
that's pretty bad we all are giving the comedy bit a thumbs up. It shows just how bad Backlash was. I did like the comedy bit too but since when do we give the bit parts thumbs up or down? I agree this PPV was bad. Miz and Seth did well. It seemed a lot of wrestlers were physically tired. I guess the travel lately is getting to them. Charlotte, Nia, Orton, Hardy all seemed lethargic.
I agree with you on the AJ vs Nak part but I'm more on the black (down) and white (up) boat here, no gray area for me. The finish was such a gut punch.
I mean AJ/Nakamura should have been a 5 star match but they fucked up the finish... again... its almost like having two PPV's in 10 days hurt at least one, and arguably both, of those events.
I agree we should stop with the 5 star nonsense. I think the match was way better than their last ones but the finish... why the hell would you have a finish like that? These kicks in the balls and low blows might have been funny at the beginning but they used it too much.
Liam Divine Then why bring back the brand split at all? So they created the universal title just to get rid of it after after not even 2 years, I take it they’re gonna unify tag and women’s titles, these new titles would have very short histories
He's beyond Super Reigns. I at least got a fair amount of entertainment out of Super Cena and stuff like that, but this... it's just... holy fucking hell... and I gave Reigns the benefit of the doubt for YEARS. I didn't really start disliking him till 2017. And god, it's just... holy hell man.
How doh? He's beaten Reigns more than anybody besides Rollins, elevates whoever's he's involved with immediately, he completely has been the perfect character even squashing Finn and Seth and Dean and the whole damned world. Wins and losses don't effect his character too much bc like an old-school HHH or Benoit type, he says what he wants and desteoys everybody at will without consequences in matches or builds. He doesn't even need a title to be immediately on top bc how amazing he is consistently just like Braun Strowman, Bálor or Owens.
Mark my words on Smackdown on Tuesday they are going to announce that Shinske Nakamura and AJ Styles are going to fight in a falls count anywhere on the next Smackdown pay per view.
Katerina Yiacoumi What sd PPV? Those don’t exist anymore, every ppv is pointlessly cross branded Although I don’t know what’s next anymore, apparently it’s Payback but Raw was so focused on Money in the bank which isn’t until June and would only make sense if they still had exclusive PPV’s
When Breezango came out in the Conga Line i was like "hehe, that's funny." I was even thinking about it even after the show ended and thought to myself, "Man, that was funny."
Tajhae Scott-Walls i know the feeling i thought it was awesome i don't know if it's because i have no standards but i liked it minus the Carmella vs Charlotte match that bored and then Reigns vs Joe it sucked because everyone already knew who was gonna win so i didn't give 2 shits
I couldn't have said it better Simon! Love me a PPV but my excitement definitely dipped post Miz/Rollins although the silliness with Elias did make me laugh ='D
Barun Tiwari Yes i agree its the writers and the booking that's shit, people keep pointing fingers at Roman what do they expect him to do carry the show and make it good, its not just him tho the whole show was shit. They moan about Roman yet again because he was in the main event what difference would it have made if AJ main evented because that match was garbage too.
I wasnt wowed for sure but I didnt hate this show but you arent wrong about virtually any of those critiques. But I do disagree with the Charlotte-Carmella match as they portrayed Carmella as a more cerebral and opportunistic competitor. The only point she outwrestles Charlotte is when she reverses into the Code of Silence; everything else was Mella making an opportunity and outmanuevering Charlotte using her own offense successfully against her. Not a mat classic but a good story and Imo Carmella's best performance. I thought for sure they were going the route of the heel MITB winner being a paper champion and instead she wins clean, has some credibility (a facet her character has sorely lacked) and this doesnt hurt Charlotte too badly either.
The Wolf...My feelings exactly about the Carmella match. I heard people say Charlotte is so good she doesn't need the belt but then they complain when she loses it.
Sir Anthony here’s why they’re complaining. Charlotte beats an unstoppable Asuka. Charlotte loses to Carmella the next event. We still could of had Asuka undefeated/unpinned if Carmella cashed in at WrestleMania 34 but we are where we are.
As George Attakora said, they sacrificed Asuka's momentum to Charlotte only to have Charlotte lose her title to Carmella. The loss of the title actually hurts Asuka, who is a really talented performer, more than Charlotte, who is also talented but has already had a big push on the main roster.
i think carmella match hurt charlotte. her performances at wrestlemania and fastlane were amazing. at backlash she barely did anything...slow dull carmella kept getting boring holds on her, and wins so easily
I almost wanna see fans get up and leave during every Reigns segment to really drive the point home. Can't make him look strong if there ain't nobody there lol
This show was absolutely terrible stop being overly positive Simon especially that lame-ass main event the WWE champion should have Main evented the show I don't care who's the WWE title holder I don't care if it's Curt Hawkins that title is your main title no man should be bigger than the WWE Championship that title should always main event every pay-per-view.
Also, I think it was a throw away because so many people subscribed to WWE Network the day of Wrestlemania and this PPV was 28 days later so the biggest free subscriber jump they've had all year watched 2 PPVs for free.
Simon, thank you so much for calling WWE out for not making Styles/Nakamura be the main event! There is no excuse for that! And when will they learn that having Roman take tons of punishment from his opponent and then beat him with just one spear doesn't make Roman look good, it just makes his opponent look bad?!
One thing that really sucked about Backlash is the philosophy of ALL PPVs being co-branded. It means we do not see Finn Balor, Ember Moon, the Usos, Becky Lynch, Rousey, and some other more exciting talents.
Vince McMahon December to Dismember 2006? Victory Road 2009? Victory Road 2011? Battleground 2017? King of the Ring 95? Wrestlemania IX? Wrestlemania 2? It's not even close to the worse PPV ever.
Vince McMahon I'm pretty sure people were leaving December to Dismember early; Idk about the other ones, but fair point. Stil, this had 2 good matches, the other ones didn't have really any good matches. Plus all of those shows had a least 1 negative star match, maybe more.
Matthew Hunter The only thing i liked about that december to dismember was when lashley won the ECW title in the extreme chamber, the extreme chamber was not really that extreme but i'm glad lashley won it.
I know he downed the pre-show match but honestly it was the best women's match on the card. Bayley and Ruby have great chemistry plus it added more to the Sasha and Bayley feud (though this could have ended a long time ago). Ruby looks pretty strong here and deserves to be the next heel up.
I was bout to watch the highlights only and prior to seeing the victor between miz And Seth I decided "wow this is too good, screw it I'm gonna watch the whole show" boy is that 3hrs I want back!
I actually thought other than the finish and its EXTREMELY questionable placement on the card, Nakamura/Styles 3 was really a good match. That double chair shot was CRAZY!
Just when i was on board with Reigns again WWE somehow manage to make me not care about him again. This also happened when he won the Royal Rumble, I was actually on board with Roman being the next face but then he went and won Rumble after returning from injury just like that. I got pissed. This happened again when he won the WWE championship from Sheamus, i was actually starting to support him, making him number 1 in the Rumble was awesome and he could have shown how good he was by outlasting till the end even if he didn't win it. But then he got took out at the middle of the match and came back out only after most of contenders were taken out. And now we come to Backlash, just when i was beginning to root for him against Lesner.
When your PPV can get not only Nia Jax boo’d for talking about bullying but also Samoa Joe and Roman Regins match boo’d, and it’s not because of Roman, but the match itself. That’s a problem...
Why would Alexa do her twisted bliss after looking at Nia who was on one knee? Why did Carmella dominate Charlotte? Does this mean Carmella could have beaten the streak? Was the streak worth a damn?
2018 Ups & Downs
Raw 182 - 95
SmackDown 114 - 71
PPV 50 - 28
Total 346 - 194
JC4R YOU GET AN UP
I second that
That means that Raw is the best show with 65% Ups, the PPVs are second with 64% and SD worst with only 61% Ups.
Johannes Wull can we take into account that smackdown has the shortest air time out of the three?
Marcus Parrilla That's why it's in percent not in total numbers. So it is fair, that it has less airtime isn't the reason for it only getting 61%. If anything it should be the best because it doesn't have to fill as much time as RAW and so can concentrate the good things in 2 hours instead of having 3 hours and not knowing what to do with them
This ppv will have maximum down instead of Seth Rollins match , Elias Concert
Rollins Vs Miz was literally the show stealer.
Max Payne worst thing is they will AGAIN not give any credit to elias and rollins and miz for just saving the show from catastrophy
I agree the Miz-Seth match was a diamond in a pile of crap
Ic title match good. But watch NBA playoffs were better. JUST saying
Samuel Howe ic means Intercontinental Championship
The tag feud was HUGE down. Non-legal Owens was pinned, Braun, despite being a face & not having any real heat against Owens & Zayn decided to bully them. That was dumb. What was even the point of all this?
Nachiket Pargaonkar get them on the ppv I guess
Tri Monster
Yes, but what was the point of doing all this stupidity, just let them be buried by Braun as usual & make them take a clean pin, not this botch

no universal title to chase so they have to do something
I wanna be Simon‘s best man when he marries Rusev.
You'll need to defeat Aiden in a karaoke sing off first.
He will marry repo man
Give me 10 reasons "WHY" u should be Simons best man on his wedding day with rusev
A matchka made in heaven. Please swing me an invite. I will tear up that dance floor like no man has ever teared up a dance floor. For the Son of Goldberg and the True American Hero.
Mate! You are truly somewhat of an psychic because Miro FKA Rusev now works for AEW and is the BEST MAN for Kip Sabian with Penelope Ford. Damn!
WWE wasting Bobby Lashley kills me from
Inside.
Maz2bi they are so focused on pushing Roman to the moon it's like "let's just put the most over guy on the roster (Braun) and one of the most talented (Lashley) together and see what happens". Ugh I'm right there with you man.
WWE killing Owens and Zayn kills me on the inside
Kedryck James His finisher kills me from inside
Maz2bi,
IKR?! 😭😭😭😭😭
I usually try to be optimistic and upbeat after ppvs but I got nothing this time. They really need to stop putting reigns in main event picture. The fans are gonna shit on it no matter what. Ricardo Blanco he doesn’t even need to turn he’s bobby lashley they could easily book him like a badass then have him go against lesnar
Miz continues to make the IC belt feel bigger than the main belt.
Hands down The Miz and Rollins stole the show. The crowd died after it too.
pwnstroyer...
Due to horrible booking & horrible matches...
Crowd didn't die, wwe blatantly killed them. But yeah one positive came out from all this, i cancelled my wwe subscription
Rajeev Gulrajani lmao!!
Rollins gonna break his back with how much carrying he has to do with Vince's terrible booking.
Also, prayers up for Alexa that she isn't out for too long.
Mr. Sir yee
We want to see a picture of Simon when he had hair
Mustafa Mohammad There's a few on Google images.
Matthew Hunter Oh My God he looks so different!
Mustafa Mohammad I think he looked better with hair
Tri Monster he makes the bald look work
XDgamer can't argue that, he really does
Yes! Been waiting all day for this.
Miz and Seth was the best match on the ppv. All the other matches were garbage.
Rampaiger Queen Jeff and Randy was not to bad I enjoyed it tbf
Styles vs Nakamura just started to be good, but then, there was this horrible finish.
T0bi1983 true. I really hated the ending to that match
Rampaiger Queen I agree. I would have given Styles V Nakamura an UP, if it wasn't for the finish that any real fan could see coming 10 minutes before it actually happened. Not good. The only match I gave an UP to was Rollins V Miz.

A P How is nutcracker vs AJ good, its the worst they had so far its a no DQ match and hardly nothing happened i was hoping for some weapons being used.
Steve Wood I agree. WWE need to let wrestlers allow use more weapons. I too hoped for tables nd etc.
For WWE No DQ means USE Low blow only.
A P
Cass should've won. What was the point of the match when Bryan hadn't cut even a single promo on Cass & everything Cass was saying about him being big & strong was just buried by him tapping out. Killed all the momentum. & Let Bryan lose, he needn't become the next Cena.
Nachiket Pargaonkar I agree. And, even if WWE wanted bryan to win, they should have booked it like a real fighting match.
I literally laughed for about 5 straight minutes when Elias yelled stop the fiesta
Up: Miz vs. Rollins, Styles vs. Nakamura (until the finish), Elias concert.
Down: Everything else
Lastly, WWE need to leave us alone with Reigns and turn him heel already.
I was there. I was a little disappointed. i did have fun tho because it was my first wwe event
GumDropMan123 : / Mines was Raw 2003
GumDropMan123 : / hell yeah bud!
BoeBoe Chisholm what a Roster
My first event was at Mania 22, OMG that PPV back then was the shit, edge spearing foley through a flamming table, RVD winning MITB , Rey mysterio winning world title great show. I had to travel from england all the way to Illinois. It was my early birthday gift from my GF parents.
Wow I’m sorry bud, what a shitty first WWE event to go to...but at least you had some fun.
God Simon is such a handsome man
PPV called backlash, sounds like its doing its job.
The Moich more like Backwash
The Moich this is the best comment
The only Backlash should be the one WWE gets for such a terrible show.
Backstab, sounds more better. Backstabbing the fans in the back with such a shit PPV.
2 ups, 10 downs for me. Only ups is IC match and the concert bit.
The travelling schedule has been grueling. Some can handle but others get more affected
I agree with you on the AJ vs Nak part but I'm more on the black (down) and white (up) boat here, no gray area for me. The finish was such a gut punch.
It's our own fault to believe AJ
akamura would be a 5 star match, I can't even believe you gave 4 up
I mean AJ/Nakamura should have been a 5 star match but they fucked up the finish... again... its almost like having two PPV's in 10 days hurt at least one, and arguably both, of those events.
AJ and Shinsuke couldn’t even have a 5* match at WrestleKingdom, and you think WWE can do better?
Crazimo Remember according to one man's opinion
You do know that this fued will last until SUMMERSLAM ok people
I agree we should stop with the 5 star nonsense. I think the match was way better than their last ones but the finish... why the hell would you have a finish like that? These kicks in the balls and low blows might have been funny at the beginning but they used it too much.
They need to bring back Brand PPVs. No Balor, Ziggler and McIntyre, Usos, even Matt and Bray. Too many good superstars who got no shine at Backlash.
Tricia Charles totally agree this is why I was sad about no more split brand Ppvs.
Then it wud be even more boring. Down
Christelle Ybanez Why bring back the brand split if about a year and a half later every PPV is cross branded anyway, makes no real sense
@maskath
Because they're slowly going to faze out the brand-split again.
Liam Divine Then why bring back the brand split at all? So they created the universal title just to get rid of it after after not even 2 years, I take it they’re gonna unify tag and women’s titles, these new titles would have very short histories
I kinda want to see Seth vs AJ Styles...It could be as great as or better than the Balor vs Aj
RPG_Kaito
Certainly
+Kenny Omega #PushCesaro#PushChrisHero ehhhhhhhhh
This is the first time I have seen a negative ups and downs and I watch all of them
This Roman Reigns nonsense needs to stop now! If people walking out of a PPV main event doesn't do it, then WWE is gonna have a really bad time.
Simon, you were being too nice. Backlash 2018 was probably the worst PPV I’ve seen in the last 3 years. Should have had 2 ups at most.
Tricia Charles Really, did you not see Battleground 2017 when the Great Khali made his return.
Deathgun 21575 and that sir is a down lol
Tricia Charles not a chance there were far worse
I loved your debut at Defiant. They should have let you win.
did people really expect something from randy orton? his matches are boring as hell
Orton > Indy wrestlers
He's still good but he phones it in and he doesn't try his best at all.
Because wwe dont do anything with him and hes a natural heel anyways
He needs to be fully heel. That's the best Orton. Orton as face always sucked in his entire carrer.
The miz vs seth Rollins was phenomenal everything after that was boring.
I canceled my network-subscription today. I won't pay any more money to see Reigns being Super-Reigns.
Samoa Joe is the new Bray wyatt? Great promos but loses every time...
Muhammad Arslan sad but true😂
A couple mins into the Cass and Bryan match I was thinking oh god this is boring. And then the network crashed and I was like thank god 😂😂
This ppv made me season my chicken with soap
I seasoned mine with bleach.
We can all agree that this pay per view was THE Worst of all time and we want our money back from this disaster event
RPG/Killer Gamer #wewantrefunds clap clap
the only thing saving that was the Miz/Rollins match. Take away that and the crowd might have booed a lot harder
What Culture really is great.
Simon is the only reason I keep watching this channel.
The new guys can't cut it imo
I watched till the end of the styles match. N went to bed because I had work at 5 a.m. n it was already after 1030. So I guess I didn't miss much.
Spear Pig That was the main event. Idk what was with them showing dark matches on a PPV afterwards hmm.
Man I was waiting for this lol.
Mark my words on Smackdown on Tuesday they are going to announce that Shinske Nakamura and AJ Styles are going to fight in a falls count anywhere on the next Smackdown pay per view.
Katerina Yiacoumi Then it's going to end in a double tap out somehow
Shawn Wick probably
Or the first ever low blow match
Katerina Yiacoumi What sd PPV? Those don’t exist anymore, every ppv is pointlessly cross branded
Although I don’t know what’s next anymore, apparently it’s Payback but Raw was so focused on Money in the bank which isn’t until June and would only make sense if they still had exclusive PPV’s
This is groundbreaking. An episode of Ups & Downs with more Downs than Ups?! Historic episode!
When Breezango came out in the Conga Line i was like "hehe, that's funny." I was even thinking about it even after the show ended and thought to myself, "Man, that was funny."
Had to avoid all the fake ups and downs to wait for this!! Your the man Simon! Let’s Up some Downs!!
I love these videos.
Who enjoyed BackLash I really enjoyed this PPV it was spectacular awesome 👏
Tajhae Scott-Walls i know the feeling i thought it was awesome i don't know if it's because i have no standards but i liked it minus the Carmella vs Charlotte match that bored and then Reigns vs Joe it sucked because everyone already knew who was gonna win so i didn't give 2 shits
Simon Miller is carrying WhatCulture right now. Not that I mind.
Simmon miller just told story of my life last night when I convinced my friends to watch wwe with me
Simon is an optimist, so it's gotta be pretty bad when the downs are higher than the ups.
I couldn't have said it better Simon!
Love me a PPV but my excitement definitely dipped post Miz/Rollins although the silliness with Elias did make me laugh ='D
The fact this was a dual brand ppv gets the biggest down of all the time and card spoke for itself
anyone remember backlash 2016 with the women's 6-pack title match? there were this is awesome chants during a WOMEN"S match. it was such a good ppv
I wonder how many other people watch Ups and Downs instead of the actual show
I laughed at the Elias segment more than I should have... hahaha
Its not the wrestler who make better match....its booking which make it better
Barun Tiwari nah, it’s easier just to blame everything on Reigns......

Not a mat classic but a good story and Imo Carmella's best performance. The first WWE program in a long time that got more downs than ups. Hope they get their act together for MITB.
You know it was a bad show when SIMON of all people is giving it more downs than ups.
I feel like one of these days I am going to see Simon on the no way Jose Congo line😂 just dancing around slapping his head
I almost wanna see fans get up and leave during every Reigns segment to really drive the point home.
Can't make him look strong if there ain't nobody there lol
Do you still make vids?
What fans?
#BeatTheTraffic made the PPV
hahaha hearing Simon say "what the fuck is this" was so good and summed up the whole PPV
you gave elias segment down but immediately gave it a up too?
what was the point of up and down then?
Miller report is your thing
Anyone know when cien is gonna show up? I was hoping he would have done something at backlash.
W
Especially when Lesnar’s not even there for the 5th ppv since becoming Universal champion for over a year, I like Lesnar but not as champ
Also, I think it was a throw away because so many people subscribed to WWE Network the day of Wrestlemania and this PPV was 28 days later so the biggest free subscriber jump they've had all year watched 2 PPVs for free.
The IC title tier of the roster deserves to main event every show.
It has been 9 days since Simon miller debuted ... just counting
Simon, thank you so much for calling WWE out for not making Styles/Nakamura be the main event! There is no excuse for that! And when will they learn that having Roman take tons of punishment from his opponent and then beat him with just one spear doesn't make Roman look good, it just makes his opponent look bad?!
I'd be PISSED if I paid for a ticket and got that Nakamura/Styles finish!
The background music is Ethan Meixsell- Thor’s hammer
the intercontinental title is THE title rn in wwe. it feels more important and bigger than the universal title and the wwe title combined
Bruh. Simon is a very positive guy. He doesn’t give downs a lot so when a show gets more downs than ups, you know it was a very bad show
I put on the WWE network and then...I fell asleep. Man!!! What a great nap!!!
Here's another down: During Daniel Bryan and Big Cass' match, the fans started chanting "We want Enzo". Piss off.
One thing that really sucked about Backlash is the philosophy of ALL PPVs being co-branded. It means we do not see Finn Balor, Ember Moon, the Usos, Becky Lynch, Rousey, and some other more exciting talents.
I only just found out about Simon's Defiant debut at No Regrets. What a sit-out powerslam! #BestFinisherName
#UpsAndDowns
Worst pay-per view I've ever watched and I've been watching wrestling for over 20 years. It was aweful in every sense of the word.
Vince McMahon December to Dismember 2006? Victory Road 2009? Victory Road 2011? Battleground 2017? King of the Ring 95? Wrestlemania IX? Wrestlemania 2? It's not even close to the worse PPV ever.
Matthew Hunter But in none of those shows did the crowd leave early.
Vince McMahon I'm pretty sure people were leaving December to Dismember early; Idk about the other ones, but fair point. Stil, this had 2 good matches, the other ones didn't have really any good matches. Plus all of those shows had a least 1 negative star match, maybe more.
Kenny Omega #PushCesaro#PushChrisHero.......don't forget Big Show squasing Rusev.
I spent like 80% of the PPV with my eyes closed, taking a nap.
Simon Miller to WWE pleaseeee
No One else is going to mention that when Roman got put through a table there was a "You deserve it" chant?
Can we have a gif of Simon doing the shrug emoji please?
I can’t believe no one is talking about Aj almost losing an eye! Man they were hitting the hell out of each other.
This PPV was so bad I fast forwarded to the end of three matches and I was watching it live.
Thank you thank you thank you
I was bout to watch the highlights only and prior to seeing the victor between miz And Seth I decided "wow this is too good, screw it I'm gonna watch the whole show" boy is that 3hrs I want back!
Not even Simon can make this a show that the ups wins :) but always stay positive.
They are doing to AJ Styles what they did to CM Punk, in that the cena natch was always the main event eventhough Punk had the title
Dibils YS..... You really wanted that terrible ending to close out the show???
Well considering what DID close the show yeah I would. Almost stopped watching when I realized Reigns/Joe was the main event.
Dibils YS HHH/Austin/Taker/HBK were always the main event without the title or being in big time feuds.
I like the beginning of the joe vs Roman . When he put him thru the table
Christ, give Miz some credit for that opening match! Miz was working great!
Why was the video so late today? @whatculture
I actually thought other than the finish and its EXTREMELY questionable placement on the card, Nakamura/Styles 3 was really a good match. That double chair shot was CRAZY!
Simon is the definition of lawful neutral
Elias is so good. Hope he gets a good push he deserves it
Can we please get Simon reacting the shrug emoji as a gif 😂😂
I love you
Why would Alexa do her twisted bliss after looking at Nia who was on one knee? Why did Carmella dominate Charlotte? Does this mean Carmella could have beaten the streak? Was the streak worth a damn?
When was the last event that has more downs than ups? Especially double the amount? Horrendous PPV
Glad I had to work during this.
