Very informative! Thanks a lot, you saved my head unit from being tortured with fans sucking power through the remote, I will use these now instead. Very well explained, thanks!
we also inputs relay and a lots of fuses for safety as well and thamk god because he gave me a very good car audio installer he works very professional, clean and very neat thank you bro! Marlon Pillar.
Great video thanks! Im looking to install a relay to my amp to avoid the thump when turning off the car there’s any way possible for you to direct me to the right way. Thank you again for your tutorials
Ok 12v constant would be the yellow wire. My whole set-up is in my trunk. (Supplemental battery) so do I run a yellow wire to the trunk? Or should Is it easier to install it under the hood?
Abit off topic....i tried using the piezo buzzer method that you covered a while back. For some reason the buzzer didn't beep no matter how high the gain was increased.I used a 40hz test tone.
I can't find any videos on using that relay for 2nd dedicated alternator for car audio on a 2001 tahoe daul alternator one for stock and the other for music
thank you very much, i want to connect a switch for the rear camera so i can press whenever i want, without turning on the reverse light, does a relay helps in this situation. or i need to use a diode any way.? i'm kinda confused.. thanks in advance
When I turn on my car audio system I am getting a pop sound through the subwoofer, guess the amp is coming on first, will installing the SPDT relay resolve the issue or do I need another type of relay, thanks for teaching us how to hook these up.
My car came with Harman stereo which has monochrome display when I tried to install Android with can bus ,I started getting check engine light mechanic told me Android stereo messing with instrument cluster is there any other way to connect??
Every diagram ive seen shows constant +12V going to pin 3 in the relay. i know technically itll work the same, but could cause issues depending on if and how you were using 87A.
Question its normal that my amp gets warm or hot? I have a 4cha 1200 watts, running 2 6x9s and 6x8s please , so i can decide to return everything to bestbuy. Thanks
@@NextLevelCarAudio I’m happy with the change I made on the sub woofer because now that thing bangs and it’s much more louder too. I had a sealed box so it was performing the way I wanted it to
Let’s say you have a dual speed cooling fan. Hook up low speed to 87a so it’s always on, then hook up a temp sensor inline with 87 to activate when you get to a certain temp to turn on high speed fan
All these years later, i still go to your videos to learn thing. Ive never used relays believe it or not lol.
Thanks man! appreciate you! im coming back so stay tuned!!!
@NextLevelCarAudio whaaat! Oh you know I'm here for it man! 👏👏👏

Awesome!
Nice I need to watch your older vids and catch up. I just hit that notification bell.
Awesome!
I've installed many relays but not for car audio :) good video my guy on relays 👍
Thanks
The Best car audio channel on TH-cam keep up the good work
💯
I have learned so much from this channel!! Amazing Content, thank you!
Thanks!
Really nice explanation. Very helpful ❤
You're my favorite car audio channel, I've learned so much from you, thank you sm fam
Thanks!

Awesome
hey good job now u jst gave me an idea to run different things like fans thts a plus
Awesome
One of the best explanation of how to wire a relay, thanks very much, can you do advance level video?
In was planning on it down the road. Thanks 🙏
Love your videos bro. Keep them coming!
Thanks
Thanks for the great video
Great information as always...💯💯💯
Perfect explanation
Great video thanks!

I've been wanting for this video thanks brother 🤘
You bet
Whats the best wire brand you recommend and also gauge ?

It’s all in the capacitor. If the cap is too big for the power it is seeing it won’t pass the signal.
Any possibility you can provide a link to a relay with the diode already part of the relay?
I can't find any videos on using that relay for 2nd dedicated alternator for car audio on a 2001 tahoe daul alternator one for stock and the other for music
How would run that one wire too multiple accessories and how would u hook up 2 relays instead of one
thank you very much, i want to connect a switch for the rear camera so i can press whenever i want, without turning on the reverse light, does a relay helps in this situation. or i need to use a diode any way.? i'm kinda confused.. thanks in advance
That should not draw enough power to justify a relay, tho it would not hurt

@@NextLevelCarAudio thank you. so you say just heavy consumers. etc.. 🙂 thanks for clarifying
How many accessories can be connected to a single relay?

They have an anti pop/ quiet turn on module. I’d get one of those
How do you wire rgb wire For rgb led strips with 12v Bluetooth module

How would you wire one with a diode to boost the remote turn on to my amplifiers
Hmmmm. Not sure about that…. Sorry :/
Question its normal that my amp gets warm or hot? I have a 4cha 1200 watts, running 2 6x9s and 6x8s please , so i can decide to return everything to bestbuy. Thanks
It’s like the gain is either set too high, or it is not getting proper power/ground. Getting warm in normal. Hot is not
Do you have a video that shows how to install a diode ?
I do not. Sorry :/
@@NextLevelCarAudio could you explain
Hey bro I have i question. Is it ok if I changed my sealed box for a ported box? The subwoofer was a shallow woofer.
That’s fine, just make sure it is within specs
@@NextLevelCarAudio I’m happy with the change I made on the sub woofer because now that thing bangs and it’s much more louder too. I had a sealed box so it was performing the way I wanted it to
Nice
@@NextLevelCarAudio I just realized that when I go to my subwoofer level it’s in the negative but it sounds so good. Is that normal ?
That’s fine, your gain is probably set low on the amp that’s why
How many relays do you use for your amps, fans, and leds.
3. One for lighting, one for cooling fans, and one for auxiliary gear.
So when will u need to use 87a connection?
Let’s say you have a dual speed cooling fan. Hook up low speed to 87a so it’s always on, then hook up a temp sensor inline with 87 to activate when you get to a certain temp to turn on high speed fan
Can we get a video on simple amplifier repairs.
I would, but never done any amp repair. Sorry
@@NextLevelCarAudio you'd be surprised what a quick solder job and a 79 cent component could restore !
My problem with car audio is that the wiring harness for my 2013 sentra cost more than the radio and I have steering wheel control
Lol. That’s the case sometimes unfortunately
My amp was turn ôff
You forgot to say it turn a low current to a large current
Single relay enough for 2 cooling fans
Plenty!
Gôôd shit brô
