Haven't been to Vegas in years, but I really enjoyed the Luxor when I was there. The inclinators (diagonal elevators) that run along the side of the pyramid are quite cool.
Thanks for another great video Chris.I stayed at Elara, you can book it as a hotel also. Very happy with my stay. No casino, full kitchens and beautiful rooms.
The Elara almost mimicks Vdara Hotel & Spa, funnily enough. Just a different location and rewards differences compared to the similar MGM Resort, including Hilton's rewards and such.
The Westgate (formerly the Hilton and formerly the International Hotel) is where Elvis had his residency for several years in the 70s. It may be worth checking out if you’re an Elvis fan!
I was at las vegas from June 6 to 18, stayed at Excalibur, Aria, the strat, and vdara, for some reason I prefer the less luxurious rooms because it feels more like home
Hello from Dublin Ireland Chris! This video should be compulsory viewing for any first time visitor to LV. We've been to Vegas twice and are looking forward to our next visit. Love your Vegas reviews, and this one is especially comprehensive.
DON'T MEAN TO BE PICKY so I won't! Hows that for reverse click bait! LOL So easy to trust your content! Today i noticed your audio level is PERFECT! THANKS Chris!
Just got back from Vegas and what an experience. Stayed at the Venetian after watching Chris's review and saw everything including the last day of the Mirage and the Sphere. There are some people who go back frequently and whilst I loved Vegas I don't think I would go back though. Time to look at some of Chris's other reviews - I loved the climate of Vegas so perhaps Arizona next year 🙂
We are staying at park MGM and planning on taking the free tram to get to Bellagio and walk from there to centre strip. Best way to get to Freemont street from Park MGM - is it uber? Do the Deuce bus have AC?
I’m going for the first time in October for my birthday. Staying at the Rio. Does it make a difference if I sign up to their players card before I get there and check in to my room?
Hotel room spend at the Rio doesn't get you any benefit in their program. Being a program member potentially gets you lower rates on your room.. but you'll have already booked your room by that point if you're signing up on the same day... so no.. probably doesn't make a difference if you sign up the day of before you check in
Yes.. From the MGM Grand Casino, pass the Lobby Bar, turn right and walk towards the KA Box Office. Just past Wolfgang Puck, turn right and walk into The District. Continue through The District, past Craftsteak, International Smoke and Grand Garden Arena. When you reach the Spa Mezzazine, take the escalators down towards the pool. At the entrance to the pool, turn right and continue through the hall. Exit the set of glass doors to your left before you reach the Conference Center. Walk through the Topgolf/Wet Republic walkway and go through the gate located by Wet Republic.
I have a theory about the Fashion Show - that is the alien shape ship that crashed in Roswell. Area 51 could't find space for it with all the new research so talked a mall into using it. Just saying... 🙂
Uber, Lyft, and the taxi lobby convinced the Las Vegas airport not to build the terminal on the other side so people could walk straight out of the terminal and on to the strip. 😂
Too modest a title for such a massive whirlwind affair. I'm not sure what it should be for biggest draw but I believe this is a case where you would not be guilty of clickbait by changing to a more grandiose title.
And of course, first rate job. Outstanding one hour summary of everything there is. I don't think that anyone could ever do better in that amount of time.

not gonna lie, this has gotta be the best explanation of vegas i’ve seen.
Fantastic presentation with Google Earth!
Thanks Gilberto!

Im a Vegas Veteran. I like moving around hotels. This time in November for a week I will be at Ceassr's Strat and NY NY
Nice! Yes. I often move around too. I should have mentioned that!
loved staying at Paris. Great beds, great restaurants, location. Very clean. Patisserie.
Great info Chris. Thanks for covering some of the new things in Vegas
Thanks Claire!

Thanks for the report on the Elara!
There actually is pretty decent public transit from the airport to the strip or downtown area for just a couple bucks.
I love video's like this. I could watch this for hours. It's fun, informative and entertaining 🟡
Glad you enjoyed it!
I got back tonight, I'm sad I didn't run into you this weekend! :)

Thanks for the tip!

Right on Leon! Glad to hear you enjoyed the trip! Arizona has tons to see too 😀
Well done Sir!
I didn’t get to watch this live, but watched it today (6/21/24). Great video, Chris! Awesome subject!
Thanks as always Jeannified!
My favorite hotels to stay at Encore and Wynn.
A lot of Vegas pools close at 6 pm. Others close seasonally. Others have massive pool parties. You could do a whole video on pools.
Chris, great job!!!
Thanks Stargazer! :)
The one hotel that you
Missed was the red rock hotel
1:00:49 I was in Vegas in the past 2 weeks and it was over 100 every day
Ooof!

Yes. I'd take an uber to get downtown. But yes. You can take the deuce bus too.. it makes alot of stops though so it's slow.. and yes. It has AC
The Las Vegas sign is fine ONCE in your life. I definitely wouldn't go there every trip or at all after you get that one pic.

If its your first time ever going to Vegas I would reconsider staying at the RIO. Ideally book something directly in strip makes a huge difference.
@@cjcab3158 thanks for the advice. I’m going with my mate and we got a newly renovated strip view room. Next time I’ll stay on the strip.
@@cjcab3158 Sure, but the Rio is a lot cheaper
How to get to Top Golf from the strip? Can you access it through MGM?
Yes.. From the MGM Grand Casino, pass the Lobby Bar, turn right and walk towards the KA Box Office. Just past Wolfgang Puck, turn right and walk into The District. I miss the lions in the MGM:(

I’m concerned about going during the Forumla 1, apparently everything view blocked, hotels are crazy and you can’t get about easily. Have you been?
Uber, Lyft, and the taxi lobby convinced the Las Vegas airport not to build the terminal on the other side so people could walk straight out of the terminal and on to the strip. 😂
So lame
