This reminded me when my niece came to visit me a couple of years ago, and she redid my pantry which is also a working/storage pantry. What a lovely gift you gave your MIL. We don't need more stuff to dust at this time of our life, but having helping hands is a real blessing. Then to top it off you paid for her containers as well (I realize the husbands were included). If only 2 people at home, try a “no spend” January/February and USE UP what you have. I do it every year and get creative using what I have and save a bunch of money!

My pantry is my nemesis, I hate running out of things, so I always have extra of the basics on hand but then anything I buy out of the norm doesn't fit. Plus, mine is very deep and tall while I am short and blind 😂

Beautiful job! I am so motivated to clear my pantry. I did it 6 months ago, but it has become unruly over the holidays. I use a marker on cans and dry goods, so I know how old it is and I use clear bins for smaller items . I wish I had a large pantry like that. You are so lucky.
