Suzuki should rework on this bike. Only a minor changes needed.
1) Redesign the face so that riders can install a bigger windscreen without making the bike look weird.
2) Differentiate it visually from the 150cc Gixxer
3) Add a slipper clutch and improve the braking performance.
Its sales will go up like anything.
Yes, I waited for these changes... But Suzuki not at all interested... They are just introduced new moto gp edition instead... Now I am proud CB350RS owner...
Also comfortable rear seat as it's a sports touring machine.

I have the 1st gen, 2015 model, 50k km completed, never had any issue and still giving a great service, m sure it's gonna run for 5 more years with ease.

I'm very happy to say that I'm the proud owner of this same colour option bike. This is a perfect all rounder machine ride in city and also on hoghways for touring. It's just a head turner machine. Everyone once make a look into this machine. It also deliver a decent milage around 35 kmpl average. It's oil cooler just work like a liquid cooler. Here oil is used instead of coolent and it also has a radiator fan which was activated when oil temperature goes high. The radiator fan blows air on radiator Chembur when oil getting high temperature. It's only activated when it needed. Some of time in extreme summer in city it may activated very slowly to keep the engine cool. But when oil temperature goes too high then the radiator fan blows very fast for 1 or 2 minutes and you can hear the radiator fan sounds from outside. Its just a perfect all rounder machine. It's cheap to maintain instead of KTM or Husqvarna but expensive from Bajaj d250 or yahama. Here I will not include the n250 or f 250.
I seriously sympathize with those who choose RC125 and Duke 125. At that price point there are a lot of better options, like :
R15, Gixxer, Pulsar NS200 and Pulsar N250/ F-250, Apache RTR 200 4V. Also, even if you are an avid KTM fan, instead of buying an RC 125 put a little more money and buy Duke 200 (or put some more and buy RC200), it is a fantastic bike.
Ya Duke 200 makes for best value for money over RC 125 and Duke 125
I got this motorcycle last month. Its a VFM hidden gem of a motorcycle. Brilliant throughout the rev range.
A very good option for Sports Touring (since the Honda CBR 250 is discontinued).
One of the most capable yet underrated bike in its segment. Your honest reviews are much better then those of powerdrift.
Already booked matt black Naked version after 1 year full research. Only reason I brought this because of reliable Japanese engine. No one can match quality of Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki. My first bike was Hero honda CD Dawn 2004 model and it still starts in first kick even with rough use.

This is a gem of a motorcycle, my fav motor on any 250 in India. i just wish as a sport tourer is had a better/taller windscreen, a better seat for pillion and lighter clutch, it's painful to operate if you are stuck in traffic.

It's a beautiful bike I had ridden the gixer 250sf and the naked once. Engine is soo refined and smooth. Initial pick-up is great. Top end is very nice❤️. Very comfortable seating position. Well pillion comfort is descent pillion seat cushion is on the harder side. This bike is great for city and Highway riding ☺️
I'm after Name Image and Brand of course, but I know it's Suzuki and it always stands tall in the crowd. 👍

I am having Gixxer 250 naked model.
My height is 5'11. Let me share my personal opinion abt what i feel.
PROS :
Bike looks sexy and beast.
Handeling is smooth AF❤️
Low and mid range power is outstanding.
No vibration at all.
Sexy cornering.
Torque is superb.
Lightning is good.
CONS :
Clutch is hard and uncomfortable in initial days but after 5-6 days you will be habitual to this.
Gears are not smooth .
Sitting position is not comfortable for Pillion.
Breaks are not that much good as i felt.
2 lakh price and No slipper clutch, no extra technology, no accessories given by Suzuki is heart breaking.

I have purchased this over - R15 V4, dominar 250, R15 S, RS200, RC 125, DUKE 200, will also prefer it over 250 duke as well because of High maintainnce cost involved in the liquid cooled engine.
This bike can smoke the above bikes like cake walk any day in a drag race.
The bike has only one flaw that is windshield which I updated.

I have matt black one.😁 Disadvantages:-
1) facing heavy wind blast coz of visor
2) pillion seat is ok ok, could be better.
3) horn doesn't justify this 250cc beast.

Had gen 1 naked gixxer .. 2016 jan model and I am very surprised by the smoothness and handling it offers .. hats up suzuki.. I am sure I am not upgrading even now coz it is basically have the punch even now .. quality exudes from it
You might forget that, this bike came from the factory where the moto gp legends born, the gsx r 1000, and the mighty busa 1300 r
Yes Suzuki company should change something on this 250cc one.
Because one cannot distinguish easily between 150cc and 250cc at first glance.
Like in KTM we could easily Recognisable between RC125, RC200 and RC390.
Sorry guys I am fann of this bike, but being unbiased I would say it's bang for your bucks, you get great road grip with comfortable posture for long rides, cruising speed 90-120 kph depends on your mood but can easily touch 154kmph in no time, braking front has good bite but rear does not have, gearing is awesome clutch might feel on harder side as compitition is giving slipper clutch, pick up is bonkers , aerodynamics and build quality is at par with Yamaha, last but not least for world you have 250 cc bike but for your pocket you have 150 cc bike come on I was talking about mileage, which is awesome on this beas I have got nearly 41 kmpl on Highways if driven at 90-100 otherwise 33-35.
I have a 2021 BS6 250 SF and a GSX S 750 now.
Gixxer 250 SF is the best handling bike so far I have ridden since 1987......[ My previous bikes include RD 350, yezdi, CBR 250,150 and R3ABS several bullets hero hondas etc etc......]

@@Fun4Lyff surely 💯. Only issue with the bike is hard rear suspension. You can sort out that issue by replacing the rear mono shock of gixxer 150[red colour]. It is a direct fit

@@sanjayranganath6171 Riding posture is almost upright yet sporty. You don't have to crouch at all. Further the foot rest is deep down which means sufficient legroom for tall people. I have done 300 km plus in ghat section in a single streach with no issues. A good tourer. 39- 41 in city. 41-43 in highway at 80- 90 kmph. All measured thankful to thankful. Suzuki service is fine with friendlier people. All parts are available on order basis. You may not get some items off the shelf. But Suzuki parts policy is best in industry. Same as Maruti (another Suzuki) .They provide spares forthe old models also like Zeus, etc. Remember, the stock rear shock is a bone breaker. Keep 3450 rs for the Gixxer 150 rear shock. Bike runs like a dream afterwards. Wish someone from Suzuki is reading me.

I own a sf 250...I agree with everything... it's a beast... you'll enjoy riding it....but the only problem is gear shifting is on a harder side!

I have this bike and if ride it sensibly, at 70-80 kmph it returns me a mileage of 40-42 kmpl. Great bike but horrible service center experience

Even tho oil cooling!! Bhai thats Suzuki's oil cooling system much than some of the liquid cooling systems out there in market. Also oil cooling is less expensive to maintain compared to liquid I would prefer oil cooling
i rode the sf 250 and r15 back to back, the first thing I noticed was that while riding sf 250 you feel like you are sitting on the bike as opposed to sitting in the bike on r15. This somehow robs some confidence. Other than that a pretty good product. Also my nearby showrooms were offering heavy discounts on this product. If you are getting it below 2 lac on road, I would definitely suggest you to consider it.
True.thats because of the uneven and weird seat cushion ,so I carved it flat and now i get d confidence and comfort u r talking about.
And putting up a tall visor also boost your confidence so that u feel closer to your handle bars .
Ii did and it made a lot of difference to the manuevarability judgement.

Brother What about the engine vibration ? I heard after 6000 to 7000 km engine smoothness gone down and also have some balancer issue . What about your motorcycle ?

What a coincidence , today only , I test drove this bike , really gear shift is , butter smooth , little bit vibration on foot peg and handle bar , when you rev it hard to the redline on smaller gears. (I did it on 3rd gear was checking speed range , no rider will do it subconsciously ) . Great torque and sitting comfort .
looking forward to book this as comparing to Dominar 250 . I will have to take another test drive of Dominar 250 . This bike has created that shear doubt in me regarding D250/

Riding gixxer sf Fi abs 2017 since launch year believe me I have done many long tour including Nepal on that machine and till date it’s bring smile and urge to ride in me. Over 56000km one time tyre replaced on both the wheels.
I would have bought one because of previous experience with suzuki ❤️ ...
But as iam abroad I could not keep one as no one is there to maintain it well and I have very dangerous rat attack history on my previous bike ...... So iam scared to have this wonderful piece of art ......

Really love the way you observed the market . Yes gixxer 250 is most underrated mechine but the fun and thrill which it offers for the price is the best. Like duke 250 priced at 2.28 lk is way more expensive now a day which is the only compititor in terms of riding dynamics. I really appreciate your effort, nice video❤️. I am a gixxer 250 owner, it really feels great when you talk about this mechine. The only issue is the after sales of service is kind of lagging wrt ktm/bajaj. Thats the only flaws I want to address rest the bike rides superb looks smashing and justifies the vfm tag properly. Love your video man. Mere paas bhi hai iski first unit bs4 log abhi bhi palatke dekhte hain. Unhe pta hi nahi h aisi bhi bike hai. Aur mere paas hai sach bol raha hu bahut acchi bike hai. Kitna b chalao mann nhi bharrta.. sabse badi cheez simple hai to easy to maintain bike hai. Service cost bahut kam hai iska.

Firstly suzuki never deals with low models it started frm 160 and goes to hayabusa. It mostly deals with hight category bikes. And this gixxer has sfs technology which also their in hayabusa. Its worth it rather thn taking a r15 its better to take this no back or hand pain. I m thinking of buying this bike too
The front visor needs to be revised. A taller and better visor is highly required along with a revised front mudguard .
I took a test drive of this bike and I remember that the clutch is on the harder side, apart from that the bike seemed to be great. Does anyone else have the same feedback? I wish Suzuki adds slip n assist clutch to this bike in the future.
Yes the clutch is on the harder side. But I find it helps to place my left hand at the far end of the handlebar and pull the clutch lever from the distant end. Haven't completed 1st service yet for my bike though..
This is the only reason which is holding me back from buying this bike... In today's time there is a need for slipper clutch

Bhai maine 1st gen liya tha Gixxer ka faired wala 2015 me 7 sal ho Gaya almost bhut chl v chuka hai but bike av v ek no hard chlta h kadak
suzuki should had designed this bike different than sf150, most people dont understand minor differences and think sf250 as sf150 and thats why road presence of this bike is not that great.
That's the subtleness of this bike brother, twist the throttle and they will know for sure, that this is the bigg dadddyyyy

I have the naked 250, this bike is underrated. After almost 2 years of ownership i have never had a major problem. Only complain i have is it needs a slipper clutch because you have to be more careful while downshifting, and on the naked i feel the front is a bit light and hence its a little bit nervous but once you get used to it its never a problem

SF 250 is far better & less priced & most importantly this is more user friendly motorcycle.

I think that 2 lakh price is for power and features that u get, not for displacement of the bike.
Same goes with all KTM bikes, they use different design and materials and has more power than same displacement of other bikes.

Everything is fine but in terms of engine refinement and gear box Suzuki is unbeatable even Honda also cannot make this kind of refinements, i don't need power but if bike is refined then I am sold
Aman, how does it feel to ride and review a bike which will be going to a customer who paid for a brand new bike and expecting one? Why can't you just ask for a dedicated review unit or a test drive unit? I've been observing in almost all of your videos that the speedometer is disconnected. This is not ethical, or morally correct, Aman. I wish you would respect the biking community. How would you feel if the Ducati which you're about to receive was ridden and tested like this by a reviewer or someone?

I think mainly because test ride motorcycles are either not available or will be in horrible condition. Such bikes are not maintained. I tried to get a test ride of tvs rr310. I went to 3-4 dealers in my area. None of them had. After almost 2 months of trying when i went back, they offered to let me ride someones 3 month old bike which had come in for servicing 🤦🏻♂️

This is excellent bike,pictures and videos doesnt do justice to its looks surely a headturner log puchtr h kon si bike h they think it is some 400 to 600 cc bike and after i have installed bog visor its is phenomenal now it looks like supersport looks premium and build quality is awesome abi kuch din pehle bike gir gyi thi khade khade but nuksan k nam pr bs indicator tuta fairing wad safe with no scratches even i m very much satisfied clocked 18000 kms now.
After market visor kitna hoga aur aap product ka naam batasakte he?
