For a tight budget, the Gixxer is a better option. However, if you do have a higher budget, the 310 would offer more power and more tech. Do test ride both the motorcycles to find out which one makes you feel comfortable.
I did a non stop touring in my 2018 Gixxer and I must say that despite being Air cooled I barely experience any heat from the engine while driving. If it's oil cooled then I must say Suzuki has nailed it

I am confused which bike I have to choose Duke 250 or SF 250 can you help me... I just want good look, fuel efficiency, service cost and comfortable also which bike i should choose?
TVS should and must fill this gap by introducing a low tuned 310 cc with a smooth engine and a decent pillion seat and call it a 310GT They nailed everything else with the rr310 except 1) engine refinement 2) Pillion support 3) A tad higher cost. The rr310 has potential, TVS needs to go the extra mile to finish the race.
Once in 2014 hero decided to make hx250 r with about 30bhp of power. but after a year they cancelled their plan bcz they thought that buyer of india are moving up to 300 or more cc engine, so nobody will buy a 250cc bike. But still 250cc bikes are rocking. It is always not about the cc but the thrill and feedback from the engine. Like duke and new gixxer. Even bajaj is planning to launch 250cc adv bike. How a company like hero is still under dilemma about market demand is hard to understand.
Not sure about the duke but the Suzuki has good..no great light spread from the headlights. But the intensity isn't as great as the dominar :( So well lit or moderately lit roads, you will feel some lack..but dark roads become bright, so no worries there

When I buy a bike at 1.7 lakh, I expect it not to look similar to a less expensive bike.
KTM RC lineup!
Bajaj...tvs..ktm..all does the same thing!
@@debjit17 KTM did that, but bajaj left dominar and pulsar rs200 alone, while TVs left apache 310 intact. there never was a lower specced one , nor a lower priced one.
but this is the exact same bike except for the engine, for almost double the price.
@@alexmercer3001 bajaj did not do that with the rs200 because it was never a hit in the market. But they did it with ns200 and the and the as200 and all the other pulsars. Ever thought why? Coz people wanted the same looking bike at a lesser price. And they're not doing the same with dominar coz they already have their pulsar series for that.
Coming to tvs rr310..well that's their flagship vehicle. That's like comparing it with Suzuki's busa. We don't have younger and cheaper sibling of that, do u?
Btw, I forgot Honda. Didn't the cbr 150 and 250 also look 90% similar?
Think about it buddy..the brands want to increase their sales...and making smaller bikes look like their elder siblings helps them achieve that to an extent. :)
@@debjit17 Ya bro, I agree, but there should be some exclusivity for expensive bikes right?
It's giving me 42kmpl after 3rd service at 60 to 70 speed
First thing I do when I start a PowerDrift video.
1 - Like (As #TeamPD always puts the best out)
2 - put the resolution of the video to 1080p. (as all the videos are treat to the eyes)
3 - always comment as it motivates the team to do more.

The thai version of honda cbr 250r is the strongest 250cc bike that still exist in the world 😎😎😎😎
Love you honda cbr❤❤❤❤❤
Or how about the CBR250RR? 😬😬
@@powerdriftofficial cbr 250rr is a monster😀😀😀
In what scenario is cbr250r better than gixxer . Gixxer is 7kgs lighter produces same power and torque as cbr250r and costs 23 thousand less . Has better led headlamp much better light adapting console . More fuel efficient . Led rear light . A bigger windshield is provided by Suzuki dealers .you cant tuck in yourself in cbr250r . Single touch is available in Suzuki . Oil cooling but still effective and cost effective too oil coolers last more than liquid coolers. Mate i own gsx150r . Can you tell me how cbr250r is better i want to upgrade
@@techuser7261 gixxer 250 is way better than Honda CBR
Nice Bike when that available here in the Philippines?
You can revisit the engine heating test once ambient temperatures are much higher than what they're right now. It's unlikely to heat up with temps around 28C but could be different when it hits 40C.
If you want to upgrade from a R15 V3, then it's the best Japanese option for you. This bike handles great on the corners.
Please share about the headlight visibility in highway . Does the fan for oil cooling make noise
Will it be a good desicion to buy sf 250 over 310 rr.??? Please help me out even though they r not comparable.... I am gonna buy this week.. Kindly reply #PD
For a tight budget, the Gixxer is a better option.
However, if you do have a higher budget, the 310 would offer more power and more tech. Do test ride both the motorcycles to find out which one makes you feel comfortable.
@varunpainter what would your favorite pick be ? SF250 OR DUKE 250 BS6. ?
I did a non stop touring in my 2018 Gixxer and I must say that despite being Air cooled I barely experience any heat from the engine while driving. If it's oil cooled then I must say Suzuki has nailed it
Nice video👌❤ I love gixxer sf 250💝
Everyone asked for sf vs cbr in 250 segment.. no one is to do.. we want it from PD #PDArmy
Are those wide mirrors striking the vehicles around you ?
As a daily commuter should I go for r15v3 or gixer sf 150 full fiercing one
Great..no nonsense review. I own this bike and all the points fit perfectly!!
Why Powerdrift did not review Honda CBR 250r till now ? Eger to get the comaprision between Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha Fazer 250 and Honda CBR250r.
Hey brother Should I buy This of fz25?
It would be my first bike..
My mom will be sitting as pillion...
Also does back pain?
Please reply in detail..
This one or gixxer 250 naked or fz25??
Are you shooting at BRT nigdi?
The direction and cinematography of PowerDrift should also be appreciated!
I am confused which bike I have to choose Duke 250 or SF 250 can you help me... I just want good look, fuel efficiency, service cost and comfortable also which bike i should choose?
Why is the Cbr250 not included in the list for comparison?
Because it's priced higher.
India is a price-sensitive segment, and not a power/feature-sensitive segment.
@@powerdriftofficial If we could ignore the price part, which one would fare better?, as both are almost the same on paper.
TVS should and must fill this gap by introducing a low tuned 310 cc with a smooth engine and a decent pillion seat and call it a 310GT
They nailed everything else with the rr310 except
1) engine refinement
2) Pillion support
3) A tad higher cost.
The rr310 has potential, TVS needs to go the extra mile to finish the race.
Wow, this would be interesting! Hope TVS is reading this!
Really hoped you guys could've said something about the headlight visibility at night and rain.
Not sure about the duke but the Suzuki has good..no great light spread from the headlights. But the intensity isn't as great as the dominar :(
So well lit or moderately lit roads, you will feel some lack..but dark roads become bright, so no worries there
@@debjit17 does it wobble beyond 130kmph, that's the deciding factor for me between gxr and domi 250
Wait Varun didn't say his iconic lines so im doing it for him- I'm Varun Painter and I'll see you later 😏👀😂 #pdarmy
Always Power Drift review best... Love From Bangladesh... Very waiting for Sf 150 reviews
Ktm claims around 30 kmpl for the duke 250 and it's really hard to believe that it gives around 40 kmpl in city
You guys should check it again
*Question*
Gixxer SF or Gixxer SF 250?
65% City rides & 35% touring!
If Mileage, Ride quality and Power are to be considered, what would you recommend?
sf 250
Loved the way you presented it!!
Why neglecting cbr250 ? Not even a single reviewer compares the cbr and gixxer. Even it may be a decade old it is on par with this and it's non abs model is priced less than this why don't you compare them ? I bet you will get more likes for that comparo than this video.
Sf 250 or rc 200 or Duke 250..
Pls answer... I am very confused
@PowerDrift guys please make future vids in 60fps your vids are very enjoyable...
Hey PowerDrift, would love to see a Gixxer250 review from y’all.
Great mileage but my Cbr250r 2k19 gave me 40kmpl while staying constantly between 100-130kmph. Please #powerdrift do a comparison between the old legend vs the new boy in town. I’m sure many want it!
Any problems bro in 2019 CBR ?
Onkar Tambe no complaints from the engine. The cosmetic part needs a desperate upgrade
Really need to learn this kind of editing ❤️❤️

Please suggest one bike for touring among
Cb300r or gixer SF 250 or mojo

Winshield should have been a bit bigger...the bike looks incomplete without it
varun good job with the review 💟
Thanks, mate!

Varun's jacket is dope!!! Which jacket btw???? Any leads???
Varun Painter ... I hated your initial videos when you replaced Sagar. But man your recent videos for the past 6 months are awesome.
I am waiting for Aprilia GPR 250... And also looking forward to anything coming out of Bajaj Triumph partnership.
Own a Gixxer 150.
After SF250 launch i was considering it as my upgrade from FZ25, but after test drive I didn't find much of difference between both. Dominar seems to be more sensible option.
Infact Gixxer sf150 was more fun to ride than sf250
*Even a child can say this bike lacks graphics, i mean college students want something funky something colorful like KTM or RS200 or beautiful like R15 v3. Suzuki is killing a good motorcycle by giving only matte color options & that's also just plain black & silver.Did same with gixxer 150 competing against beautiful Yamaha FZ v3.*

Can we get a video on the GIXXER SF 155
Is it okay to buy now ..? Any other good option in faired one!
Will they launch with slipper clutch.(BS6)model??

Must buy if you are using for daily commuting!
At peak speeds/rpms in the highest gear,I get an efficiency of 37 on my Gixxer sf 155.
The 250 seems to be rather efficient for its engine displacement.
