Their dancing together was precious in the museum. Made me cry for the love that can happen for all. Alex putting the music on in that scene was❤heartful joy.
This is a wonderful and informative interview. It was nice to hear Taylor and Nicholas perspectives on RW&RB. Such lovely and intelligent actors. Kudos to the interviewer for such great questions!!!
Really enjoyed this joint interview and hearing about their experiences on the film set making the movie and also the joy in the success they got with RWARB. I adore there genuine and gorgeous friendship and if they sadly don't get to make a sequel to it, I do hope one day in the future they get to jointly star in another film together what ever that may be.❤
We are happy and amused at the same time when we hear these two guys. Of course, they are very serious, talented and ambitious in their films, but I always notice that when they are together (or even apart, as in this interview) they don't behave with each other like Nicholas Galitzine with Taylor Zachar Perez. They remained continuously in their discussions like Alex and Henry (I mean jokes, teasing, arguing...), I don't even think they know how to behave differently to each other.
Their chemistry was off the charts between them on screen and it translate off screen. I love this movie, and now reading the book and the emotional rollercoaster it's taking me on.
Thank you so so much for uploading this! Ahhh we got an interview. I'm so freakin happy right now. These two! 🤗 They were asked so many good questions. I love their enthusiasm for the movie. It really shows in how they talk about it ❤
An interesting and informative retrospective that is both amusing and moving. Shows how seriously the boys took their roles, and the serious personal and societal effect this film has had on audiences wirkdwide. This should be compulsory viewing for all the critics who dismissed it as a cheap and cheesy romcom and could not see what it was saying and being. And has yet so effortlessly become both a classic and a trailblazer. And a beacon of hope
"A fantastic friendship with Taylor'... Yes, it seems normal to me, without complicating things. They made an excellent team when they played together, they have the same sense of humor, they are close in age... What could be more normal than becoming good friends?👌👌👍👍
It's funny to see how on many occasions Taylor is so ACD and Nick is so Henry but when they are together they always switch and Taylor becomes more like introverted and Nick more extroverted😊.
I feel like Taylor likes to let Nick feel comfortable and gives him the chance to speak freely, then he just adds to what Nick has said before. I mean, it's cute, at the end of the day, they complement each other, yk
I think he wanted to be more serious in this interview and not disturb the interviewer, because when these two are together we already know what chaos it is 🤣🤣🤣
If anyone cares, I had this idea that Alex and Henry take an update of the old Carol Burnett sketch with the King and Queen if England coming home and being stopped by the guard at the gate.
For the texting scene they talk about, aren’t they actually on the phone with each other at the end? It starts with texting. But when they’re “in bed” beside each other before hanging up, aren’t they supposed to actually be on the phone with each other and not just texting? Because they talk about literally hitting the hang up button. (Still really cool how they shot the scene but they’re not actually texting anymore.)
After this interview I really agree about the impact in the outsider non queer community which I am part of. Although I grew Up in a tradicional Family they were as well wery respectful in advance , even my parents for their time being . I grew Up in a sense of natural respect for the people that feel LOVE from different sexual approaches points of views . And That is why I feel the film (and its book) is so meaninful . It IS just and no more than a romantic and funny comedy based on LOVE , REAL LOVE And its difficulties from the points of views of any couple that finds rocks in their way , but felt it in a way that goes all the way on. And It cannot just be resume or related to the point of being queer or not . The paradox and interesting points is than It IS , specially against an old fashion institution. For me, as being a not- queer- person I think It had even more impact because of that. Because I just Saw two people human beings figthing for their LOVE ,and nothing else . It seemed so natural to me that It was just imposible that such a Deep , authentic LOVE could not just go because some rules based on facades . It seemed so unreal confronted to the thruth of the feelings between the couple that leads you to the question of what thruth does really Matter. And of course the answer IS only one. Real thruth IS the only thruth that matters. And the rest IS the theatre. It reminded me in a way in the impact of the film " Guess Who Will come to dinner "in Which the dificulta those days was being White and black. And It was something as well socially forbidden. Nowadays tha things are almost normalized or Who Hope so. In fact It IS amazing what Taylor said that there are countries where being queer IS not even allowed. Well LOVE IS THERE TO STAY Just waiting For sequel 2 ! Congrats again For your good work. Culture IS the way Society and People learn and open their minds
🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I'm so in love! ❤🤍💙 I'm really grateful for the publication of this interview, it's very nice to hear them talk about the film because, unlike many other projects, due to the strike, there was absolute silence - obviously. Of course, seeing the film and seeing how Alex is actually the kind of person who attracts attention in a unique way, it makes me strange to think that Taylor is, instead, a less exuberant person and, on the contrary, to see how Henry is more reserved. , while Nicholas appears more playful (obviously I base the statements on what is reported in this interview).
I like how Nick is sarcastic sometimes and Taylor just takes it all in and like okay you're right I let you win.
I'm thrilled we were able to finally get a joint interview with these two. Thank you ❤
Us too!
