I used a siphon feed Passche for 30 years as a model railroader and it served me well. Now I've gotten into miniatures and model kits so have acquired some (too many) gravity feed brushes. 😊
Good demo, good points raised. I use my Paasche Millennium and Paasche H for primer or base coats. They're like a fire hose, although detail work can be done with bottom or side feeds like that (but it can be a chore). Also cheap paint pots can be obtained for them from eBay or Amazon, making paint swaps easy (just check size of pick up tubes etc).
I started with this type off brush many years ago useful for bigger jobs ie wall art , car graphics then stepped up to the iwata's . Glad too see you back 👍
The Mobius looks a well made brush, depending on the release price I recon it will be quite popular🤔it would be an ideal brush for UV primer if it had a black paint jar, the UV primer is quite thin and goes through my cheap airbrush with no problems and is handy for fixing small cut throughs when prepping panels👌 Thanks for sharing Rob👍

Hi Rob, I have a bit of a technical question. Is the Middle Collar piece of the Giraldez Infinity compatible with the front and back body parts of your old Infinity? If so I might upgrade my old one with the Giraldez collar, needle guide, Evo 24 trigger etc to take it up a notch or two in control and smoothness. Great channel and thanks anyway.
@@dredfxcustompaint Hi Rob, I got all my parts for a Giraldez Infinity middle piece and the Evo 2024 trigger in the mail yesterday and tried it out. I have a Cult of Paint Infinity and it was an excellent brush, but this upgrade has made it phenomenal! Night and day difference. The trigger response and the paint is instant. Only one thing to note, the new 2024 needle chuck clamp nut is too long for my Infinity’s back piece as it butts up against the limiter, so I just used the old Infinity’s screw and works fine. I am super stoked about painting with what is essentially a new airbrush. I also got the Squidmar 2024 Infinity coming in the mail 😉 Cheers again for your advice and awesome vids. 🤙

@@dredfxcustompaint thank you sir, these alcohol and liquid water colours spray fantastic through the infinity 2024 straight out of bottle... especially the watercolors from Indart Italian Watercolors. would you even think of diluting such thin paints?
Does a brush like this make lettering any easier? I always see the guys doing lettering using this but not sure whether its just because they mostly doing the lettering on Tshirts and its better for the quick swop, or if its actually easier to do lettering because of how you hold the cup/jar etc.
@@theDelinquenC it does feel better when you hold the jar gives you more control 👍and works great for letting it has good response in the trigger That's why I mentioned it would be great for a t shirt painter

Is the 0.5 aircap-nozzle-needle trio compatible with the other two Mobius airbrushes? Can you swap them between each other?
