Tenante du titre à Roland-Garros, titrée à Madrid, puis à Rome juste avant de débarquer en France, Iga Swiatek (n°1) se présente comme la favorite numéro 1 de ce Grand-Chelem parisien. La Polonaise semble parfaitement supporter la pression, et tant mieux. Même si elle s'avoue "nerveuse" avant d'entrer en lice. Elle s'est présentée en conférence de presse ce vendredi pour évoquer son statut et ses attentes quant aux deux semaines à venir.

Iga looks tired. she should take a break after french open. interviews, sponsorship talks, exercises,practices, real matches, pre match talks.post match interviews, fan interactions, travel...and lots more..plus mental strain..she is exhausted and drained..
It’s tiring for sure, but she is living her dream now. I wouldn’t be so worried, she has a great team behind her and looking after her well being, which many other players don’t pay so much attention to.
Lots of players in women’s are consistently playing singles as well as doubles. Like Coco, Pegula, Krecjicova etc. so atleast Iga is concentrating only on single rn which can save lot of energy. Also eventhough Iga play lot of matches in singles more than any others since she always wins or in semis/ finals, but she defeats most of players easily in straight sets in bagels or breadsticks which can save lot of energy too. That’s why Iga is always do well in most of tournaments.
@@coolyoutuber6237 I have commented in some other thread that Coco should concentrate on singles. I don’t know why Brad Gilbert hasn’t intervened to that. Iga played last year around 90 matches. So in total matches she is already close to Rybakina but 50 % less lost matches.

Iga always gets easy opponents, if she ever gets tough opponents,it means they were drained because of past matches owing to tough draw, if ever Iga gets a tough opponent, the things she does is tapping the racket, waving her hands in the middle of the point, such a cheater backed by IMG, IMG is responsible for her having matches scheduled at her favorite times, (while other top players get midnight matches Iga gets none!!!) This corporate backed cheater should be shown exit by real hardworking players who are not benefitted through unfair means!
