Enjoyed your reaction! Jacoby and Ronnie tour together recently, I believe Jacoby signed off on Ronnie reimagining the song. I thought it a very emotional version 😢 and amazing ❤️🔥
Epic and hits harder with how deep the lyrics are. Never realised the lyrics were so dark, because of how upbeat the original was. Don't know why the lyrics went over my head. the only negative i have with this was those auto tune hits, Maybe his calm melodic vocals are not so strong, i duno. But would have Been better without that. If possible. Or done in abless obvious way. 😬. Sounded so off for what ended up being an amazing version of this. Better than the original IMO 😉
The symbolism of the crumbling and rebuilding city is everything to me. As the song gets more intense and the city (or rather his life) falls apart around him, the sudden stop in the middle as he catches himself crumbling, and the upturn as he's rebuilding himself and forcing the entire world back into place. This reimagining means so much to me
Iconic songs re-imagined - have you tried Kasey Chambers doing Emineme's "Lose Yourself" ? As for this. Ronny seems to love these pieces - exceptional performance, nice video, thanks Steve.
I love this version. It strikes an entire different tone and tells the story in a completely new way. Honestly the message of the song hits harder than the original for me. Don't get me wrong, I love the original too for different reasons.
I personally think it was a great song and for what it is. People who are like "this was so uneeded" is uneeded, lol. No one gives a rats ass if you want it or not.
Very cinematic and epic. Beautiful rendition. It brings a completely different life to the song. I find the lyrics stand out more. I very much enjoyed his voice, especially when the scream vocals kicked in. I was hoping the song would get heavier eventually because it kept building and building. Nevertheless, this was an unexpected and delightful song.
I liked Falling in Reverse's revious reimagined songs but honestly this one didn't work for me, I thought the instrumentation was fantastic but it just gave me this weird uncanny valley feeling, particularly when the the vocals hit the same melodies as the original song. The build up to the bridge was great where he really goes for the vocals but something on the chorus and parts of the earlier verse where it's more whispery didn't do anything for me.
Ronnie Is seriously a Genius...if we are talking about writing. But voice-wise? Ronnie said It himself in interviews, he cares about live way less than the recorded versions of his songs, so in the recorded versions there's a lot of stuff he cant Just do live without helps from tech or other singers.
I really hate the choice to add the auto-tune in parts. I know Ronnie can/is hitting those notes but it sounds like it's being used to hide the difficult parts.
If it changes your opinion any, the entire track was 25 mins of vocals all done in one take. No redos or anything, so it was likely used for very minor corrections.
I really like Falling in Reverse but I think this cover/reimagined song is horrible.. it wasn’t the lyrics that did the song justice, it was the music. They picked the wrong song to do. My opinion.
LoL "Emotional sledgehammer" that is the best way I have ever heard anyone put it! ™️
Don’t be nervous, everything Ronnie touches turns to damn gold!! ❤🤘
on fir's youtube is ronnie showing the song to jacoby before it was done. so wholesome
Sean Rooney wrote the piano and orchestra pieces.
Ahh great info, thanks!
He also did the two others btw. Actually all 3 started with him sending Ronnie a piano demo of The Drug in me is you

That’s not auto tune on his voice that just how amazing he is

I approve of that shirt.
Haha yas! w o r s h i p
There is no auto tune anywhere in this song it's all Ronnie's natural voice
it‘s not autotune, that‘s normal pitch correction and very hard editing with processor and stuff.
Of course there's auto-tune
There always be, probably you are not in the music scene if you say that. Sometimes is auto tune sometimes is just a melodizer
This is not a live voice. This is majorly corrected.
Love the react but this is so overrated. Autotuned/corrected, whatever you want to call it. If he played it live, I’d change my tune. Pun intended.
*Fun fact:* During the line where you hear multiple voices saying "I can't go on living this way,' Jacoby Shaddix is one of the voices you hear.
I was also nervous Steve! But I wound up very much enjoying the refreshing angle!
❤

And was that ending related to watch the world burn Maybe 🤔🤯
Its brilliant ….. !!!
Beautiful ❤️🔥🤘🏼

I don’t believe Ronnie used auto tune with the exception of the trilogy

honestly i was just yelling WHY? the first listen but gotta admit this has grown on me. Ronnie could sing me the McDonalds menu and i would eat it up
i still got goosebumps
❤❤❤
Masterpiece!!!
um, it was a falling in reverse version of last resort..

Ronnie and Chinchilla if only.
I seriously doubt Ronnie uses any sort of auto tune. Natural tuning is what he uses. 😂
Auto tune. 100%. It smacks you around the face. Melodic is not his strengths as a vocalist clearly. But once the song got more powerful, it was EPIC

You do know that auto tune and melodine are used for effects nowadays right? If you ever have heard him live you know he doesn't need it
@@LeperMessiah2exactly he sounds exactly the same in person. He’s a top 5 in current vocalists for sure
it's not autotune, it's time correction and a bit of reverb, it's used in most studio versions of songs...
@@mikepriestey2547 if people heard an album without it, they would definitely complain about how terrible it sounded

Am I the only one that just doesn't like Ronnie or FIR?
You don't have to, lol?
If everyone liked exactly same stuff, would be a boring world. Can't like everything, you like what you like.
Then why are you here?
we can all coexist and be happy
Yup
